“We decided to do lunch at Ted’s Bulletin. The ambience of the restaurant was very nice and modern. The portion sizes are large, prices are reasonable and the food taste delicious.“

“The scenary was great a lowly dimmed nice vibe of a place not too loud me & my friend sat at the bar & that is when Grace came & introduced herself, sne made a drink that have grapefruit which I don't hate but she made it taste great for it & also suggested to try the Bang bang shrimp bao which was great. “start with the good: the calamari and shrimp appetizers were absolutely delicious. Perfectly seasoned, full of flavor, and super crispy — truly a highlight. It was a slower Sunday, so I'm not sure why the service moved so slowly. Our drinks and appetizers took quite a while, and there was a shift change that caused our appetizers to be missed altogether (they did end up comping them, which we appreciated). For lunch, I had the steak salad, my daughter ordered the steak and fries (medium rare), and my son-in-law had the margherita pizza. All three dishes were really yummy. I'll definitely come back for the steak salad — it was that good. The only downside was the pacing. With only about two other tables seated, it was surprising that service was still that slow. But overall, the food was delicious, and that's a big plus.“

The complimentary popcorn was a great way to kick off the meal. The Shrimp and Grits: Simply outstanding—easily among the best I’ve ever had. Every bite was packed with flavor! The Philly Cheesesteak with Fries were served piping hot, with the cheesesteak perfectly seasoned and the fries golden and crispy. Service: The staff were fantastic—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Their excellent service made the experience even more enjoyable. I only wish the space were a bit bigger so there were more seats, but honestly, the crowd just proves how good it is. The service is excellent, even when ordering through the barcode system. “The Green Pig Bistro has always been a "hidden treasure" in Clarendon; the updated menu makes it even more so. The grilled pork chop was moist, tender and generously sized - with plenty of au jus to keep the accompanying muffin, mashed potatoes and veggies moist and flavorful. The fish of the day - red snapper - was just as appealing; the snapper was moist and tender, served over a bed of black rice and chopped broccoli with a beurre blanc sauce. After this experience, we will return to the Green Pig Bistro more often!“

“Food is really good. Good German style plates. Service was impeccable. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The atmosphere is extremely loud. It was, however, a Friday night and was a bar scene. If you like a good bar, that's a little loud, this is the place for you. If you want a bar/restaurant that you can talk at, don't go here on Friday.“

“Overall above average, though not exceptional. Beef dishes (short ribs, filet mignon, and ribeye were ordered at our table) were appropriately cooked and were all excellent. Service/ambiance were rather average for the overall price we paid.“

“I went with a large group of people for a weeknight dinner and we ordered a ton of yummy food and drinks for the table. I liked the NA watermelon agua fresca and my friends liked the smoked old-fashioned. We got cheesy bread for the table some of us liked it it-I didn’t it was very thin. The food overall was well liked; I got a Cobb salad that had a good flavor and many of us loved the fresh pizzas. The restaurant is very clean and organized. The only serious issue we had was with our server. I’m not sure if she was very new or there was a language barrier but we had constant issues from the start. We had to ask multiple times for water and didn’t get any until after the appetizers were served. Food was slow to make it to the table-not the end of the world but it would have been nice if our server checked up on us more, also had issues asking for the check. I think I would come here again for the drinks!“

“We arrived at ~6:45 and were a bit concerned that the restaurant was not very busy and looked almost closed but it wasn't. We had the skirt steak and wild salmon. Both tasted very good and were well prepared. Service was friendly and quick. Based on our experience, we were wondering why more people weren't eating here. Thanks for a good meal after a day of traveling and sight seeing.“

“Get a new night manager because Willie is terrible. I got stuck in the garage around 12:30am this morning because the parking machine wouldn't read my QR code for a Spot Hero reservation (I was booked until 2am on 3/14. I was blocking traffic so I called the front desk for help. I asked if someone could come confirm that I paid for parking and raise the barrier but he refused to help, speaking over me and insisting that I call Spot Hero for assistance (spot hero customer service was closed and I'm not sure how they were supposed to help me exit the garage?!). A guest at the hotel who was trying to leave got tired of waiting behind me and used her ticket to let me out. I went to the front desk to get the name of the person on the intercom - it was the night manager Willie. I asked for the GM's name and email. He told me the GM's name is Mohammed and asked what the issue was in reference too. I told him it was about him not trying to assist with the garage issue. Then he wanted to talk/explain but I advised him a discussion wasn't necessary - I just wanted the GM's contact info. He got upset that I didn't want to listen to him and refused to give me the GM's email - told me to call in the morning since I "didn't want to talk like adults". I asked for the info or a business card again and he threatened to have security escort me out. Security looked just as confused as I was, especially since all I asked for was the GM's email. If your managers or the company are unable or unwilling to help Spot Hero customers who are STUCK in your garage, don't contract with them!! And I very well could have been a guest of the hotel - Willie never even asked. He's definitely on a power trip and it's bad for business. Was he just going to let me sit at the parking exit forever?! completely ridiculous. somebody needs to look into this“

“Excellent place to stay when you want to be close to DCA/Reagan International airport. 3 minute drive in early AM. Super comfortable bed, nice cafe. Friendle courteous, competent staff. On-site parking. Great AC in room during hot day. Would stay again!“

“I had the best server I’ve had in a real long time. His name was Bikal and he was efficient with our waters, food and checks and just overall great server and nice guy. He made my silver diner experience better.“

“This is a mixed bag. Mostly had breakfast there which I thought was considerably overpriced. The buffet was well thought out but had nothing that I don't see in hotels around the world at almost double the price. Within the last year I've had breakfast in Berlin, Athens, and Rome and the most I paid was 16 Euro. Sat at the bar area two evenings and both times it took me multiple requests for a drink from the same server. The food I ate was good, at temperature and delivered by the kitchen staff rather than the server. By the end of the week we were doing breakfast and dinner in local establishments.“

“I love Metro 29 and Mr. Coffee (hope I spelled his name correctly). He is so gracious—the perfect host. The food is pricey, but the portions are huge. I love getting breakfast there.“

“Lucky Bun truly deserves every bit of praise today. I stopped by this morning and took a seat at the bar. It was busy, that perfect midmorning brunch rush when the place hums with life. I ordered the garden omelet and a Bloody Mary. Both were outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

The young lady behind the bar, Carmi, once again proved what genuine service looks like. She was handling multiple orders, mixing drinks, taking care of guests, and still managed to make everyone feel seen and appreciated. Her composure, warmth, and professionalism turned what could have been a hectic atmosphere into a relaxed and enjoyable brunch.

It’s not often you see someone balance grace and speed like that. She’s the heartbeat of the bar. Big thumbs up to Lucky Bun and to Carmi for keeping the energy high and the service flawless. I’ll be back soon, this place keeps raising the bar.“
