From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special, thanks in large part to Andrew, the manager, whose personal touch and genuine hospitality made the evening even better. We started with the Wagyu beef hummus and Brussels sprouts, and both appetizers were outstanding rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For our entrées, we chose the braised short ribs, which were incredibly tender and packed with deep, comforting flavor. The cocktails were just as memorable. The Maple Old Fashioned was smooth and well-balanced, while the Blackberry Margarita was refreshing with the perfect hint of sweetness. To finish, we shared the brioche bread pudding, and wow. It was phenomenal and truly the best way to end a perfect dinner. Amazing food, great cocktails, and exceptional service. “Dining at Open Road - Rosslyn was an absolute pleasure! Here’s a breakdown of our experience: Food: Popcorn Starter: A fun and tasty surprise! The complimentary popcorn was a great way to kick off the meal. The Shrimp and Grits: Simply outstanding—easily among the best I’ve ever had. Every bite was packed with flavor! The Philly Cheesesteak with Fries were served piping hot, with the cheesesteak perfectly seasoned and the fries golden and crispy. Service: The staff were fantastic—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Their excellent service made the experience even more enjoyable. “Would highly recommend this spot! The food was absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend the trout, the short rib, truffle mac and cheese and the bread pudding to top it off! Also, kid friendly with adorable sippy cups and a kids menu and everything in between(high chairs, changing tables in the restrooms etc). Absolutely worth every cent! Vaulx was our waitress and she was attentive, cheerful and always had a smile on her face. I might be bias but I would recommend requesting her as your waitress and you won't be disappointed! “Glad that we made a reservation as the restaurant was totally full when we arrived at 1pm on a Saturday. The service was great and very attentive, even though they were busy. They have an easy checkout process that allowed us to manage it at the table and split the tab across multiple guests very easily. The food menu was great and our table enjoyed a couple of their specialty cocktails and wines by the glass - lots of great options across the food and beverages to choose from. Looking forward to visiting them again in the near future.“

“Five stars for what they do alone...proceeds from Stray Cat Cafe and Lost Dog Sandwiches and Pizza next door donated to animal rescue. The menu at Stray Cat is a bit more sophisticated than the sandwiches and pizza next door - reliable comfort food. Pictures of cats adorn the walls. What's not to love here? Good craft beer list too, just like next door.“

“The Green Pig Bistro has always been a "hidden treasure" in Clarendon; the updated menu makes it even more so. The grilled pork chop was moist, tender and generously sized - with plenty of au jus to keep the accompanying muffin, mashed potatoes and veggies moist and flavorful. The fish of the day - red snapper - was just as appealing; the snapper was moist and tender, served over a bed of black rice and chopped broccoli with a beurre blanc sauce. After this experience, we will return to the Green Pig Bistro more often!“

“We wanted to try something new. I came fro brunch, but when we were seated the brunch menu was not provided. The waiter took a while so my husband had to get up and get the brunch menus. I asked about the cocktail towers, what he explained was not what I saw later on for other patrons. Had he explained it better my husband and I would've ordered one. Once we finally placed our order the waiters follow up was very poor. We finished our food and the plates were never cleared from the table. Then had to ask go the check and a box for my son's leftovers. The customer service needs some work or the waiters have too many tables I'm not really sure what the issue was.“

“We arrived at ~6:45 and were a bit concerned that the restaurant was not very busy and looked almost closed but it wasn't. We had the skirt steak and wild salmon. Both tasted very good and were well prepared. Service was friendly and quick. Based on our experience, we were wondering why more people weren't eating here. “Get a new night manager because Willie is terrible. I got stuck in the garage around 12:30am this morning because the parking machine wouldn't read my QR code for a Spot Hero reservation (I was booked until 2am on 3/14. I was blocking traffic so I called the front desk for help. I asked if someone could come confirm that I paid for parking and raise the barrier but he refused to help, speaking over me and insisting that I call Spot Hero for assistance (spot hero customer service was closed and I'm not sure how they were supposed to help me exit the garage?!). A guest at the hotel who was trying to leave got tired of waiting behind me and used her ticket to let me out. I went to the front desk to get the name of the person on the intercom - it was the night manager Willie. I asked for the GM's name and email. He told me the GM's name is Mohammed and asked what the issue was in reference too. I told him it was about him not trying to assist with the garage issue. Then he wanted to talk/explain but I advised him a discussion wasn't necessary - I just wanted the GM's contact info. He got upset that I didn't want to listen to him and refused to give me the GM's email - told me to call in the morning since I "didn't want to talk like adults". I asked for the info or a business card again and he threatened to have security escort me out. Security looked just as confused as I was, especially since all I asked for was the GM's email. If your managers or the company are unable or unwilling to help Spot Hero customers who are STUCK in your garage, don't contract with them!! And I very well could have been a guest of the hotel - Willie never even asked. He's definitely on a power trip and it's bad for business. Was he just going to let me sit at the parking exit forever?! completely ridiculous. somebody needs to look into this“

“Excellent place to stay when you want to be close to DCA/Reagan International airport. 3 minute drive in early AM. Super comfortable bed, nice cafe. Friendle courteous, competent staff. On-site parking. Great AC in room during hot day. Would stay again!“

“This is a mixed bag. Mostly had breakfast there which I thought was considerably overpriced. The buffet was well thought out but had nothing that I don't see in hotels around the world at almost double the price. Within the last year I've had breakfast in Berlin, Athens, and Rome and the most I paid was 16 Euro. Sat at the bar area two evenings and both times it took me multiple requests for a drink from the same server. The food I ate was good, at temperature and delivered by the kitchen staff rather than the server. By the end of the week we were doing breakfast and dinner in local establishments.“

I ordered the garden omelet and a Bloody Mary. Both were outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

The young lady behind the bar, Carmi, once again proved what genuine service looks like. She was handling multiple orders, mixing drinks, taking care of guests, and still managed to make everyone feel seen and appreciated. Her composure, warmth, and professionalism turned what could have been a hectic atmosphere into a relaxed and enjoyable brunch.

It’s not often you see someone balance grace and speed like that. She’s the heartbeat of the bar. Big thumbs up to Lucky Bun and to Carmi for keeping the energy high and the service flawless. I’ll be back soon, this place keeps raising the bar.“
