“We visited Dauphine’s for our wedding anniversary, and while the food and service were largely impressive, management’s staffing choices held the evening back from perfection.

The savory dishes were exceptional. The bread service and boudin balls were delicious starters, followed by a perfectly cooked catfish Creole and a rabbit tagliatelle that was expertly al dente. For dessert, the carrot toffee pudding special offered a great salty-sweet balance.

Our server, Adrian, was the highlight of the night. He provided excellent service despite being put in an impossible position by management as the only server for the entire upstairs area. While it was Easter Sunday and understandably busy, leaving one person to juggle that many tables is unacceptable. This lack of support led to significant wait times, especially when trying to order dessert.

The experience was capped off by a few misses: the bourbon slush was underwhelming, and the beignets were disappointing—dense and chewy rather than light and airy.

Adrian deserves a raise for his hard work, but management needs to staff appropriately so the service can match the high quality of the kitchen. A solid 4 stars for a lovely anniversary meal that just needed better pacing.“

“I visited Miss Toya"s Creole on Saturday September 30th. I took my oldest son for his birthday ?. My waitress Hope gave excellent customer service. The food was awesome as always. The manager Imai came to our table numerous times to make sure everything was good. Please go to Miss Toyas in Silver Springs Md the food and customer service will not disappoint you.“

Ambiance was great and performance absolutely wonderful in an intimate environment interacting with artist. My husband and I always enjoyed it when visiting this place. She was the mos attentive and accommodating person who understood our situation and made the changes necessary for us to attend event. “Decent place for crabcakes at MGM! The crabcake has a good amount of crab meat and comes with French fries—a little pricey, $33.99 for the Jumbo Crab Cake Plate. Big plus is that they are open fairly late, compared to the other food places there.“

“What an experience! I came from Alabama on a work trip. My fellow employees and I were trying to find a seafood restaurant and stumbled upon this restaurant on a Wednesday. And boy did we hit the jackpot! The food was amazing first off. Second off, we had been wanting to do karaoke and there was a DJ! We sang at the table while we were eating and had such an amazing time. The atmosphere is phenomenal! “First time visiting this restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious. I had the pork chops with gravy ( ask for extra) , collard greens and Mac and cheese. My daughter had the baked chicken with the creole sauce 😋 with Mac and candied yams or sweet potatoes

“Very delicious seafood. I ordered special Lobster tail, Snow crab, Sausage and shrimp. It was brought in metal bowl covered with plastic bag. Sauce was the best I ever ate with seafood. Waitress Asia was great and attentive to our needs.“

The waitress informed us there was a larger party on the other side of the restaurant, and that is why our food was taking so long. A paying customer is a paying customer whether the party is large or small. I would like to give one more chance before I decide not to patronize this Hyattsville location again.“
