“How delightful to discover a favorite restaurant of my childhood — which I thought was long since gone — has a stand at the National airport!! And they make the crepes right in front of you, and they’re delicious as ever, and the staff is super friendly. Wonderful!“

“We had the best time at KooKoo DC last night. They accommodated a table of 14 for my spouse's birthday and never let us feel like an imposition. The food was so fresh, authentic, and reasonably priced - I did a double take when we got the bill. I even felt like we went all-out with apps, drinks, and desserts! The owner was also so kind - we just felt so cared for the whole time and can't wait to visit again.“

“Huge fan of every crepe I’ve ever had here. So delicious! Only available on weekends to my knowledge.
Vegetarian options: Lots of meat-less dishes!
Dietary restrictions: All crepes are made with flour, to my knowledge, so not gluten free
Parking: On weekends it’s very busy here, can be difficult to find parking.
Kid-friendliness: Yes!
Wheelchair accessibility: Outdoors on a wheelchair-accessible sidewalk“

“Thank you Avenue Cafe for serving great eats at such late times !
As a restaurant manager, I get off late sometimes when everything is close but Avenue cafe is open even later than when I’m off! & the food is always fresh and delicious !
I highly recommend the steak and cheese sub as well as the crispy 2x Buffalo chicken sandwich. But to be honest , from what I’ve experienced - you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!
I appreciate y’all at Avenue cafe!“

“Today was my 1st time eating here and I came with my father for Fathers Day. My father had eaten here several times and wanted me to try it. I liked Le Chat Noir and would come back again. Reasonably priced for higher quality French food.“

“This place is located near Pratt Street in Baltimore downtown. Crepes were delicious, and they made it right in front of us. We ordered Nutella and strawberry crepe and strawberry and banana crepe. There is not much space to sit and eat. However you can eat outside by the pier.“

“I always have their turkey artichoke panini (your choice of cheese) or their almond croissant. Their drip coffee is ok, but the Mocha & lattes are better. Their ciches, not so much. But they offer a large sélection of delicious crêpes. I personally go for Nutella or Belgian Dark Chocolate. They have indoor & outdoor seating. Service is a bit slow, but well worth it. Just note that you do not need to enter through the main Duques Hall if you don't have a GWU ID. You can use their side door. Check the Pic beliw.“

“I go here as often as I can whenever I’m in the area and it is always a truly delightful experience. I usually order the #12 sweet crepe that comes with nutella, banana, blueberry, and blackberries when I go and it never disappoints in quality and service. I highly recommend this establishment for anyone who enjoys a good crepe and/or supporting local businesses!“
“I hadn't had a crepe since I was in Europe years ago and then a friend suggested we try this place at the Bethesda Farmers' Market. Never had a savory crepe before---only a sweet one. Got the Greek crepe and added olives---excellent! There was a 30-minut wait for our orders, so I'm glad we went here first, placed our orders, then walked around the market. There are a few tables with chairs under a tent where you can sit and eat until 12:45 or 1:00 or so. So glad we tried this place.“

“We’ve never had a meal we did not love here. We often see the same staff, year after year, which tells you something. The service is very Euro: they take care of you but know how to leave you alone to chat and enjoy your meal. (They don’t have to ask 5 times, “How’s your food?”, because they know: it’s always great.
Noise level is great for conversation. It’s always just an authentic, pleasant, laid back, very intimate, but not pretentious experience.
When done, you will feel full and satisfied, but not “stuffed”, which I’ve always thought a great indicator of the quality of ingredients.
Praline is a jewel, and the prices are very fair for what you get: great food, great service, and fond memories.“
“I love this brand of coffee and was so excited to see a brick and motor location getting off the metro. The store is so clean and comfortable, I feel so safe here. The manager Freddy creates an upscale & family feel- she’s so knowledgeable about the brand and genuinely cares about her customers experience. I feel so REFRESHED with the elite level of customer service. Every coffee shop should take notes from how they run things!!!!“

“Absolutely delicious crepes! Super friendly owners and the most delicious crepes my family and I have had. Nice little kiosk with enough room to sit and enjoy. Coffee and lattes are also great and a nice addition to your desserts.“

“The Dutch boy is a must-try, and the avocado toast with eggs is on point—tasty and filling, plus the health benefits from those eggs and avocados don’t hurt either.
Huevos Rancheros is really good too.
Every dish was packed with flavor, beautifully presented, and showed great attention to detail. If you’re a foodie, this spot will not disappoint.
The ambiance is decent and aligns well with the theme of the restaurant. The service was good and attentive, yet there were small delays, maybe it was due to the peak hours.
The quality and taste definitely outshine any minor drawbacks in atmosphere or service. Highly recommended, and I look forward to returning!
Good coffee !!!“

“Polish Food at Home on Weds: Simply fabulous! We did this last night for 6 and Wow, and the chef knocked it out of the park!
First, the meals are packaged very well in the containers. Wonderful presence in how the food was arranged. Stayed nice and hot.
Sausage: the presentation was so impressive (the decorative cuts were SO impressive). The kielbasa was SO mouthwatering (very different than sausage at the store).
Bigos (cabbage mixture) was incredibly tender and all melded together.
Butternut squash soup was the best we have tasted. Loved the extra cubes of roasted squash. Didn't seem like it had cream, either, which was appreciated.
Dill slaw: delightfully fresh dill made the flavor "pop." Loved that it wasn't full of mayo.
pierogis: delicious
Grasshopper pie: Oh my! The pie was the most divine dessert ever. Incredibly good texture in the filling and the choc/mint topping was a nice touch. Fabulous job on the chocolate crust, Chef!
All 6 of us (different generations) agreed that the meal was really outstanding! Thanks so much for offering it.“
