“We ate here on a Saturday afternoon and they were not busy. The building had a paid parking lot so it wasn’t too hard to find a slot. Ordering is quite easy (through a QR code) but you have to make sure an attendant is paying attention because we had a little hiccup with our orders but they came as soon as we reminded one of them. We ordered their bone broth and mushroom broth. DELICIOUS!!! The umami hit hard with the mushroom broth and it paired well with the bone broth. Meat selection was plenty as well as the other ingredients you want to go with your broth. It was a perfect place for a rainy weather. Will definitely go back💛“

“Amazing experience! Everything was perfect.
​I recently tried 9292 Shabu, and it was a wonderful dining experience. The vegetables were incredibly fresh and crisp, and the meat was so tender and high-quality.
​They also nailed the sauces—everything was flavorful and well-made. The entire meal tasted delicious and clean. If you're looking for a great shabu-shabu spot with fresh ingredients and excellent taste, this is the place to go. Highly recommended! Will definitely be back.“

“You have got to ask for Jay Kim, he is the best server in the house. He was patient and ever so helpful with us as first time hot potters. I had a vegetarian hot pot, well, except for the dumplings. Although they have no vegetarian options, he worked with me and provided me with an alternate option. It would be more awesome for them to add it to their menu tho for those of us who just love veggies. The broth is vegetarian based so it makes sense to have a vegetarian option along with it. We had a party of 8 and Jay Kim made it so much fun!!! The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh. One other option that would have been great to have would be fresh ginger at the sauce bar and mushrooms on the vegetable plate. We were all pleasantly pleased with our food. The ambiance is very nice, low light but more than enough to cook and enjoy each other's company. Jay Kim made sure we always had what we needed. The sauce bar was amazing, so many choices. I recommend making a few bowls, some for the broth and and some for dipping your cooked food. If you get any type of meat, also make a sauce to marinade the meat. You don't have to but it made a good difference. Meats are thinly sliced for quick cooking and again,so fresh. The price was worth the amount of food and the experience. There is an all you can eat option or an a la carte option where you just get one meat selection and a vegetable plate which was more than enough for us as a party of young ladies. This was a great first hot pot experience and I definitely recommend it, just make sure to ask for Jay Kim. I know you will enjoy it!!!“

“Was served by Daniel, the best server in DC and had an exceptional time with my husband here before america 250 July 4th, ate some of the most delicious dumplings paired with some great hot sake 😋 left with full bellys. Fun interior with a drum set on the second floor, can't wait for the second floor to open up.“

“We got the 20th Anniversary promotion for the classic tier. Without an appointment, we still get in without waiting in the afternoon. The meat, as well as some seafood you can get yourself, are freshly good. My husband especially likes the marinated chicken, which he never had among many of the hot pot shots in the DMV area. The fruit tea is especially a highlight to cool down the spicy flavor from the hot pot. Highly recommend this shop even for the original prices.“

“I think myself as a hot pot connoisseur so if I rate highly, it’s GOOD!

Finally tried it after hearing so much about it, it was super easy to other and eat, my only qualm is how small the pots are, I did get a duo pot and wasn’t sure if there was an option for a large pot where you can share with your table. Regardless, I enjoyed the Original soup base, the Mala/Butter one is comparable to a beloved one I get at Hot Pot 757 (Richmond) so I left quite satisfied!
