“SURPRISINGLY GOOD (given the area)! Better than the first time we visited when they first opened last year. First visit, our drink had quite the artifical taste and boba texture wasn't right, and bit too chewy maybe? This time around, the boba texture was nice and soft (not too soft ofc) and the drinks were good, especially the milk teas!

We ordered the Mango Fruit Tea, Taro Milk Tea, Jasmine Green Milk Tea, and Wintermelon Milk Tea - and all were good, according to our friends :)“

“Visited the newly opened Tapioca Express in Herndon today. Enjoyed their boba and was surprised they had so many snack options!! Favorites were the shrimp tempura with sweet chili sauce and the fried string beans. They didn’t seem very fried which is good in my book. Nicely seasoned too. Their crispy chicken was also good we were able to choose the spice level and I went with medium which was perfect. The chichi fries were great… love the chichi sauce that comes with it! As for drinks I loved the Mangonada. It was so beautiful and delicious for how hot and humid it was outside. Also enjoyed the honeydew snow bubble and combination yogurt frost which tasted similar to a Greek yogurt parfait with fruit. The staff was very friendly, the space is cute but small more of a to-go and enjoy outside type of place. They do however have a high top table if you’re able to snag it! Definitely coming back to try more of their menu soon!“

“Fun experience and delicious beverage treats! We enjoyed being able to order on the screen and our drinks were prepared very quickly! A little pricey but when you consider the cost of everything and how much is going into the drinks, it’s no different than anything else. We appreciated the kind tea makers confirming that we wanted each of the ingredients and really wanted to ensure they got our drinks correct. We signed up for the loyalty program and will definitely be back to try other drinks. We enjoyed mango and strawberry machi. Our first but definitely not last visit!“

“We came in with a party of 6 on a busy Saturday night and couldn’t be happier with the food or the service!! My 7yo asked for trainer chopsticks and while they didn’t have them, the servers fashioned some from a pair of adult chopsticks and a napkin! The smile on my 7yo’s face was just amazing! “I have been coming here once every two weeks with a social group I’m involved in and the staff is so kind and welcoming to allow for us to have such a huge group to hangout and socialize! Their boba is delicious my favorite is the tiramisu which tastes like chocolate milk and the other one is the strawberry and mango milk tea I think that’s what’s called I can’t remember, but that one is really good to as well! This boba place is my official favorite for me to come out and get my boba fix!“

“Great customer service from the workers, and they were very helpful with helping me choose what to order. But shame on the owner for allowing these workers to work in a hot environment where the A/C is not working. I would hope someone would come with a fan but who knows! Giving the stars because the dessert items are delicious. But I feel very bad for the workers that don’t deserve to work in these conditions.“

“My child was intrigued by the store and found some things that he liked. Staff was Luke warm with their greetings to customers and didn't seem enthusiastic about being at work. The manager or the owner of the store appeared to be eating lunch in the middle of the store at the customer tables.“

“love this place. the decor is simple but very nice atmosphere. we ordered the pho and ramen and they were very good. the broth is yummy. the is a lot of chicken in the ramen. the service was quick and friendly. there was a steady stream of take out orders. definitely returning.“
