“I had the grilled chicken Florentine pizza today for lunch (and dinner). It was THE BEST pizza i have had in a long time. Crispy crust, fresh ingredients and amazing flavors! “For several years, the pizzas from Great Falls Deli Italiano were wonderful. Then the problems started - always something unsatisfactory with every order. And the pizza toppings were extremely skimpy. So we stopped ordering from them. Yesterday we decided to give them another try. Glad we did - the Quattro Formaggi pizza and the big steak sub were both delicious. Of course, based on previous experiences with skimpy toppings, I paid for extra amounts of each of the cheeses on the pizza. Do not know what it would be like without paying for extra amounts of toppings.“

“Came in with a group for a bite to eat and some beers. J&J’s is connected to the Crooked Run brewery. J&J’s itself has some of their beers on tap, and a full liquor and wine bar selection. They have $5 dollar slices with a wide range of options or you can order a whole pie. They also have wings and other appetizers. The atmosphere is inviting, kid friendly, and they have a few games and even a stage for karaoke and live performances. Lots of seating- both indoors and out, and at the bar. You can take your beer and food right down the hall and connect to Crooked Run and sit in their establishment at their tables or bar. The staff is friendly, helpful and service was quick and easy. The pizza was delicious. Crooked Run was also a great place. With countless beers on tap (30 or so or more), and tacos and more on their menu. The outdoor seating area is my favorite with countless picnic style tables, and areas for kids to run around and play in. It’s accessible and easy to find despite being tucked away in an industrial style complex. Super clean. There are countless options for dietary needs including vegetarian, gluten free and more. 10/10 highly recommend.“

“We love Manhattan Pizza! Their spaghetti is excellent and their pizza is delicious. My wife and I get their lunch special every week. The house salad is delicious, our kids love it too. They have awesome lunch specials and the workers are very nice. They took care of federal workers during the shutdown. We love how they also sponsor local youth sports and the owner is really sweet to the kids that come in. Truly a great local/hometown pizza place.“

“Review is for the new PUPATELLA off Slater's Lane in Alexandria VA. It's in my neighborhood so we walked. Noticed limited # spot parking lot, minimal if any street parking. Went on opening day around 1145 am; got seated right away but servers were largely absent throughout stay. Took ~10 min for someone to show up to take our drink order and food order. Seasonal specials on the menu but not actually available to order yet. Went with soft drinks, margarita pizza, and brussels sprouts app. Food was fabulous and served quickly. No server appeared to check on us or to refill drinks; I believe the marketing manager ended up checking on us and helped out. Also no server to bring bill so we closed the tab at their point of sale system. Decor is plain; hopefully they will add some art to the walls at some point. Two unisex bathrooms were clean. Very narrow pathway to get to them past the indoor seating and the bar seating. Large folks and wheelchairs will struggle to navigate to the bathrooms. The usable space inside the narrow building is limited so not sure if this is a fixable issue. Patio seating is a mix of low tables and high tables/chairs, assortment of non-adjustable small umbrellas to block sun, looked like they could be moved around. Clearly dog-friendly, I saw at least three water bowls in use or available to use. Saw a lot of vehicle traffic on Slater's, but did not hear the traffic on Slater's or the GW parkway. Most tables inside and out were occupied; the music over the speakers and the ambient patron noise was loud enough to drown out traffic. There is an access road and line of trees between the restaurant and GW parkway which helps to minimize the traffic view. Food was worth another visit, though you should give them time to upskill their servers and perhaps hire more servers. Given the parking issue and the limited seating inside and out, I suspect this location is more suited for walking locals and carry-out than travelling diners. This location isn't really suited to be a destination dining experience.“

“While on a business trip I popped in here to try a pizza and it was incredible! The staff was friendly and very social. The experience was so good on fact, I stopped back by two more times to try different items on the menu. The French dip and chicken pasta I had were excellent as well! I will definitely stop back by if I find myself in this neck of the woods again.“

“Great pizza and sandwiches. We did a cheese pizza and chicken Parm sub. The pizza was spot on... great crust, sauce and a good amount of cheese. Chicken Parm sub reminded me of being back in NYC.

Tried eggplant Parm sub which was good.

Ordered delivery on a Saturday night and food showed up under an hour. We'll be ordering more from here.“

“We originally stopped by here as it was on the way to our errands (versus another Manhattan Pizza). I started ordering a take-away order online, but ended up showing it to the staff, who then entered the order in her computer. There was another employee who was walking around and just started staring, which was a little strange.

The order was an XL cheese pizza, extra cut, light sauce and well done. It was just perfect. I wanted to keep eating more, but had to stop after four slices.

We came around lunch time so the place was full when we came. The staff walked around and cleaned the tables as customers left, which is always a plus.

There is plenty of parking shared by neighboring stores and restaurants.

Would I return? Probably.“

“A solid spot to grab a bite while waiting for your XCal lane reservation. The self-serve kiosk makes ordering quick and simple, and the food comes out fast. There’s a decent amount of seating, and it’s comfortable enough to chill while you eat.

I was skeptical about the Elote pizza at first, but it totally won me over — super creamy, flavorful, and honestly one of my favorite styles they offer now. Definitely worth trying. I’d come back without hesitation.“

“Pizza was delicious. The only reason for the 4 star rating is the delivery was disappointing. I am staying at a hotel in Reston and I gave instructions on the online order of name and room number. The pizza was dropped off at the front desk. The delivery driver said he didn’t know the name on the order so it was just left there. If not for me calling the front desk and the restaurant about the pizza I would not have known it was delivered. A bit better customer service and attention to detail from the delivery driver is needed. The receipt that was tucked in the pizza box had my name and room number. The driver should have called to let me know the pizza was here, at a minimum!“
