I called a few days later because I had left a jacket on the back of my chair. I asked if I could pay to have it shipped to me. They offered to ship it for free. “Why did it take so long to discover this restaurant in Roanoke? Sidecar has been here a few years but with not much fanfare. This is dining at its finest in Roanoke. You will spend some money but the service and food is excellent. I believe they’ve upped their game with portion sizes (unnecessarily for us; great, well crafted food served beautifully takes time and attention) but my husband will take home half his Mill Mountain Charcuterie plate. More than enough for two. I inhaled the Spinach & Artichoke flatbread, as I did last time and probably shouldn’t have considering I’m just one person. We did the Richard’s Favorite Flight followed by a glass of bubbles for me and Maple Bourbon Smash for him. Bravo and cheers! Come on down!”
