The interior of this cozy cafe was clean and well-maintained, though seating options were somewhat limited. As a self-service establishment, customers can conveniently place their orders at kiosks, and I appreciated the owner’s thoughtful gesture of bringing the food to my table.

The Gyudon Japanese Beef Bowl was enjoyable, though I found it relatively standard and felt that the portion size was small for the price. The Hong Kong Coffee Milk Tea was satisfactory, and I was pleased to discover that I could adjust the sugar level to suit my taste preferences.

The establishment offers a variety of food options, including Jian Bing Guo Zi and Popcorn Chicken. I look forward to returning to sample these dishes.“

“After a long, lackluster day of a birthday—I went to Lulu cafe. And it was the best way possible to conclude my birthday last night. The vibe was really chill and energetic at the same time. The staff as well as the customers just made it a wonderful place to celebrate with my friends. The karaoke rooms had great sound quality and everything about it was designed for a good time. I will definitely be back. Everyone was dancing and getting hyped, even if they were just sitting down and drinking. It was like being on an episode of Adventure Time. “The moment you walk in, the environment is so welcoming, fresh, and vibey. It's like you know " this is going to be good". Then you are greeted, and the service was just that much better. She was awesome, super friendly and likeable. Didn't have to wait too long for food, clearly it was made fresh to order because when i got it (chicken ceaser wrap with fries) it was AMAZING. the fries were so perfectly crisp and warm, the wrap was balanced, warm, but not too warm because of the lettuce. Cannot rave enough about my experience, and the food. I'm looking forward to when i can make it back for another meal!“

“Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“

“We ordered around 15 lunches in advance for a training that we were running. The food was ready on time and several of my teammates said the sandwiches were very good and tasted fresh.

All the different pastries were awesome (my son had a mango cream bun every time). You HAVE to try the Tiramisu latte. Oh! Oh! And the Black Forest Cake was the friggin bomb! More than how great the food was, the ownership and staff were spectacular! We felt like we were popping in and seeing old friends. “The Bike Lane is a wonderful shop that encourages people to ride their bikes. Everyone from the owners to the mechanics to the sales people and cafe staff are welcoming and encouraging. As a customer with physical limitations, they were patient in connecting me with the right bike. Then, when I hadn’t ridden in a while and didn’t remember how to correctly mount it in its rack, they started from square one, and got me back in the saddle.

Even the shop dog is super cute.

I can’t say enough good things about them, but if you haven’t ridden a bike in a while, and it’s something you’d really like to do - even if you’re not ready to buy - I encourage you to stop by there and see what might be a good fit for you. They’ll let you try bikes and E-bikes and there is no high pressure sales pitch. Also, they are a brewery, and although I’m not a big drinker, I’ve heard good things about their beer. I did like their cold brew coffee a lot. They support other local businesses by hosting food trucks, so rolling out there on a Thursday afternoon and making an evening of it is a good plan.“

“Brew Birds is an amazing local cafe with fresh and delicious food, great coffee and a rotating selection of beers/ ciders. The staff are very friendly. I don't eat out during the week (only home cooked), so a Brew Birds breakfast burrito is usually the go to treat. I can personally recommend the Roast Beast, the Turkey BLT, the breakfast burrito, and the basic B. This place is my favorite part of the neighborhood!“

Staff was very nice - I put on my instructions whilst using the online kiosk to remove any almond products - just in case since I know a lot of granola is made with almond - I have an almond allergy. The kind lady behind the register saw my request and asked me if I'd perfer to switch to a gluten free granola because their regular granola did contain almond.
I was very happy with how kind she was with the switch because of the almond.

Also I might be biased because I LOVE açaí bowls but the bowl I got was absolutely delicious!

There is a family that is fast, friendly, professional, kind, and overall great running this place. Since I live in Herndon, I’ll be back to this restaurant more. “We have a lunch date every other Tuesday when our house cleaners come. We hadn't been here, and saw it had good ratings. It's a modest establishment, dated but clean. I had a Reuben, and my wife had chicken salad on a sub roll with lettuce and onion. Most patrons seemed happy and familiar, likely coming from the surrounding offices. The owners welcomed and checked on us, a nice touch. My sandwich was larger than expected, and hers was too. She would've liked a little salt and tarragon, but didn't ask for either. No complaints.“

“I got delivery service. The food arrived in a container that doesn’t fit the bag, so the lid fell off and food spilled into the bag. The bag was sealed so nothing lost but kind of a mess. Also, the serving of dressing was not enough to make everything moist, so that’s something to keep in mind if you get delivery. The steak medallions in my bowl were amazingly moist and delicious and the other ingredients were equally fresh.I’ll choose pick up next time but enjoyed my food.“

I come here quite often. Just sit down and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or a Boba tea. I need a fine pastry. I end up leaving with 50+ dollars or more in pastries either for my family or friends and family at work each and every time I come in this place it’s absolutely amazing. “10/10! Their burritos are nicely seasoned, but not overpowering nor greasy at all- super juicy but zero leakage through the tortilla (I got the Mexican burrito)! Prices were lower than expected for a cafe! I was also looking for some low sodium options for a friend with health conditions and the staff was very kind and gave great recommendations that my friend thought were perfect :). Definitely will be returning here often!
