The interior of this cozy cafe was clean and well-maintained, though seating options were somewhat limited. As a self-service establishment, customers can conveniently place their orders at kiosks, and I appreciated the owner’s thoughtful gesture of bringing the food to my table.

The Gyudon Japanese Beef Bowl was enjoyable, though I found it relatively standard and felt that the portion size was small for the price. The Hong Kong Coffee Milk Tea was satisfactory, and I was pleased to discover that I could adjust the sugar level to suit my taste preferences.

The establishment offers a variety of food options, including Jian Bing Guo Zi and Popcorn Chicken. I look forward to returning to sample these dishes.“

“After a long, lackluster day of a birthday—I went to Lulu cafe. And it was the best way possible to conclude my birthday last night. The vibe was really chill and energetic at the same time. The staff as well as the customers just made it a wonderful place to celebrate with my friends. The karaoke rooms had great sound quality and everything about it was designed for a good time. I will definitely be back. Everyone was dancing and getting hyped, even if they were just sitting down and drinking. It was like being on an episode of Adventure Time. I ordered a mint and Turkish coffee to start with the intention of ordering lamb. When the sheep came, I was surprised in an interesting way by the presentation of the dish. The sheep is butter, soft, and cooked in the literal sense and looks exactly the same as it did in the menu, bones and all.“

“Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“

“The moment you walk in, the environment is so welcoming, fresh, and vibey. It's like you know " this is going to be good". Then you are greeted, and the service was just that much better. She was awesome, super friendly and likeable. Didn't have to wait too long for food, clearly it was made fresh to order because when i got it (chicken ceaser wrap with fries) it was AMAZING. the fries were so perfectly crisp and warm, the wrap was balanced, warm, but not too warm because of the lettuce. Cannot rave enough about my experience, and the food. I'm looking forward to when i can make it back for another meal!“

“Oh my gosh! I love this place! We were visiting from Texas and this was our everyday morning stop (and it may or may not have been an evening snack or two also ). All the different pastries were awesome (my son had a mango cream bun every time). You HAVE to try the Tiramisu latte. Oh! Oh! And the Black Forest Cake was the friggin bomb! More than how great the food was, the ownership and staff were spectacular! We felt like we were popping in and seeing old friends. “We ordered around 15 lunches in advance for a training that we were running. The food was ready on time and several of my teammates said the sandwiches were very good and tasted fresh.

“After visiting several bike shops in the Loudoun/Fairfax Co area, The Bike Lane Reston provided the best vibe and customer experience, hands down. Adam Reel and Ben (I think I was Ben's first customer on his first day on the job!) were fantastic - they took time on a typically busy but rainy Sunday to patiently educate me on different types of bikes, sizing/fitting, and getting me on the RIGHT bike with NO pressure or up-sell. In the end, I fell in love with and purchased the Trek Checkpoint ALR 4 in Lavender Haze, kitted out for touring. Adam worked diligently in arriving at a very fair price and was also gracious in sharing his considerable knowledge, experience and advice for riding the type of trails that I aspire toward, such as the C&O/GAP. Of note, another Trek dealership closer to home offered to match the price for the same bike, but the stellar service I received from Adam won me over. Well done to Adam and Ben and the entire Bike Lane team!
UPDATE: 8/04/25: Just returned from the C&O Canal trail. The bike totally crushed the ride - even the hilly gravel between Purcellville and Brunswick. So pleased with this purchase!“

I don't eat out during the week (only home cooked), so a Brew Birds breakfast burrito is usually the go to treat. I can personally recommend the Roast Beast, the Turkey BLT, the breakfast burrito, and the basic B. This place is my favorite part of the neighborhood!“

There is a family that is fast, friendly, professional, kind, and overall great running this place. Since I live in Herndon, I’ll be back to this restaurant more. Staff was very nice - I put on my instructions whilst using the online kiosk to remove any almond products - just in case since I know a lot of granola is made with almond - I have an almond allergy. The kind lady behind the register saw my request and asked me if I'd perfer to switch to a gluten free granola because their regular granola did contain almond.
I was very happy with how kind she was with the switch because of the almond.

Also I might be biased because I LOVE açaí bowls but the bowl I got was absolutely delicious!

“We have a lunch date every other Tuesday when our house cleaners come. We hadn't been here, and saw it had good ratings. It's a modest establishment, dated but clean. I had a Reuben, and my wife had chicken salad on a sub roll with lettuce and onion. Most patrons seemed happy and familiar, likely coming from the surrounding offices. The owners welcomed and checked on us, a nice touch. My sandwich was larger than expected, and hers was too. She would've liked a little salt and tarragon, but didn't ask for either. No complaints.“

“I got delivery service. The food arrived in a container that doesn’t fit the bag, so the lid fell off and food spilled into the bag. The bag was sealed so nothing lost but kind of a mess. Also, the serving of dressing was not enough to make everything moist, so that’s something to keep in mind if you get delivery. The steak medallions in my bowl were amazingly moist and delicious and the other ingredients were equally fresh.I’ll choose pick up next time but enjoyed my food.“
