“After a long, lackluster day of a birthday—I went to Lulu cafe. And it was the best way possible to conclude my birthday last night. The vibe was really chill and energetic at the same time. The staff as well as the customers just made it a wonderful place to celebrate with my friends. The karaoke rooms had great sound quality and everything about it was designed for a good time. I will definitely be back. Everyone was dancing and getting hyped, even if they were just sitting down and drinking. It was like being on an episode of Adventure Time. “The Bike Lane is a wonderful shop that encourages people to ride their bikes. Everyone from the owners to the mechanics to the sales people and cafe staff are welcoming and encouraging. As a customer with physical limitations, they were patient in connecting me with the right bike. Then, when I hadn’t ridden in a while and didn’t remember how to correctly mount it in its rack, they started from square one, and got me back in the saddle.

Even the shop dog is super cute.

I can’t say enough good things about them, but if you haven’t ridden a bike in a while, and it’s something you’d really like to do - even if you’re not ready to buy - I encourage you to stop by there and see what might be a good fit for you. They’ll let you try bikes and E-bikes and there is no high pressure sales pitch. Also, they are a brewery, and although I’m not a big drinker, I’ve heard good things about their beer. I did like their cold brew coffee a lot. They support other local businesses by hosting food trucks, so rolling out there on a Thursday afternoon and making an evening of it is a good plan.“

“If you are gluten intolerant this may be the beer for you. I have been gluten intolerant for 13 years now. I used to enjoy a beer here and there. Some of the gluten free ones out there are eh, at best. This beer has a full body taste. I did not have any issues drinking it. Now, that being said if you are gluten intolerant you must know yourself really well. It may not be for you, but than again it may. I am just excited that I had no issues and enjoyed a full tasting beer!“

“Interestingly, the best part of Ono is the sister businesses co-located with them, a BBQ place. Most of the Ono beers were OK but low on characer (we tasted all of the non-IPA beers). The best, which was, in fact, quite good, was Hellyes Helles. Ono brewing runs on a pretty cool self-service system. You, or your party, depending on how you want to pay, are given a card. You present the card to a reader at each tap and pour as much as you like. The volume of each pour is tracked and charged when you check out. Taster, as well as larger glasses, are available. I'd go back, but I might just stick to the Hellyes, unless I wanted some more coconut porter, which was my second favorite.“

“Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“

“After hearing of Bunnyman for months, I decided to hit it up with a few friends on a Friday night. It did not disappoint at all. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is serene with great music. The music volume is perfect too so you can still socialize without having to shout. My favorite amenities though, are the self-pour feature, the diversity of beer flavors, and the ease of paying. The taps are really easy to use and to keep track of how much your bar tab is accumulating. On top of that, you don't have to wait at all for a refill- just head on up to the tap and pour, amazing system! The Irish Red beer was my go-to, and it was very pleasing to see that on tap when it's not actually Oktoberfest season, (I can never seem to find it most times of the year). We will all definitely be back, as well as looking forward to visiting their Lorton location! Keep up the great work and the awesome selection of beers, mad props!“

“We've been looking for a dependably delicious Chinese food place forever - and we're so glad we finally found Panda House! The food, the service, the prices are all great! One thing we were looking for was a New York-style egg roll - and Panda House has them! They're crispy, tasty, and just the right size! The Curry Fried Rice is delicious, as is the Black Pepper Chicken and the Hot and Sour Soup! We haven't been disappointed by anything we've ordered from there! And the staff is so nice and friendly! “I stopped by Taste of Istanbul this afternoon for the first time. For the most part it was really good. I ordered a potato pide, 2 doner kebab, mixed meze, and pistachio baklava. Everything was delicious except for the”baklava”, which turned out to be two greasy dough cylinders. No phyllo, no honey, no pistachio filling. I was disappointed that I wasted $7.00 for inedible dough I ended up throwing in the garbage. Get the kebabs, stay away from their version of baklava.“

“Cozy little place in the heart of Old Town. I had a Chocolate chai with Expresso and a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. The sandwich was very good and hot. The chai as well was well done.

Took a little longer than it should for the chai but the go apologized for the delay.

The sign and cafe as a whole seem like they can use a bit of an update with certain items. But still a good place to stop and at and get some coffee.“

“A brewery with some good food! A friend recommended this place for its Taiwanese street food, so I decided to give it a try. I sampled as much as I could, and while some dishes stood out, others didn’t quite meet my taste—just my personal opinion. The Dan Dan noodle sauce and beef pancake were excellent, with spices that were spot on. However, the beef noodle soup felt like it might have come from a central kitchen package. The pork bao was great, with a good size, but the pork belly had too much fat for my liking. The Three-Cup Fried Tofu had a sauce that was overly sweet, and the tofu cubes could have been larger to achieve that crispy skin with a soft texture inside. The lemongrass chicken had good flavor but was unfortunately a bit dry. Overall, we enjoyed the experience—it was a mix of hits and misses. The service and atmosphere were friendly and cozy. Give it a try if you haven’t yet!“

“First time i ordered from Punjabi Junction, so wanted to try a variety of dishes. food was excellent, just 1 thing that i was disappointed with, the onions with chole bhature were pink but tasted like recently wasted, so very plain and bland. I had also done a side of onion and pickle, and it was the same washed pickle with nimmbo achaar on top. i would've liked it to be tossed so its flavorful bit it wasn't. felt like a waste of money. it definitely impacted the experience of the dishes.

The food overall was good, a lot of chole to go with bhature, goat curry was excellent, khadai chicken was good, naan options were good, samosa chat was good as well, but OMG the Gajar Halwa so was sooo good. i ordered the dishes indian hot, didn't connect in my brain that it might be actually hot, so the gajar halwa really tasted amazing.“

Carlos was our server and was SUPER nice and had a great sense of humor. Greg the DJ for karaoke was SO nice and hyped everyone up. They wanted us to come back. “We went to the restaurant down at the wharf….. To start, the hostess at the front was on her phone and not really paying any mind to the people walking in the door. Come to find out after that was the floor manager. Then we get sat and none of the workers talk about who is in charge of that section. We did. It get me is or silverware. The very nice bartender comes up, gets us some water and menus gets us started and finally the sever comes over to us. The server took our order and checked on us twice. When the food was brought to the table we still didn’t have silverware and had to ask the food runner. Our server had a a ten top when we arrived and she was checking on her the whole time not paying any mind to the other tables she has. It was to the point I had to go up to someone ask for water refill bc both our glasses were empty. We finish our meals that were very good and no one but the bartenders are on the floor. I see our sever walk over to the restroom, she comes out looks at us and sees that we are sitting doing nothing, then walks over to a new 10 top and disappears. It’s at thing point I now have to walk over to the bartender and get our check and they are the ones that cash us out. Thank you to the bartender that took care of us“
