“If you are gluten intolerant this may be the beer for you. I have been gluten intolerant for 13 years now. I used to enjoy a beer here and there. Some of the gluten free ones out there are eh, at best. This beer has a full body taste. I did not have any issues drinking it. Now, that being said if you are gluten intolerant you must know yourself really well. It may not be for you, but than again it may. I am just excited that I had no issues and enjoyed a full tasting beer!“

“After visiting several bike shops in the Loudoun/Fairfax Co area, The Bike Lane Reston provided the best vibe and customer experience, hands down. Adam Reel and Ben (I think I was Ben's first customer on his first day on the job!) were fantastic - they took time on a typically busy but rainy Sunday to patiently educate me on different types of bikes, sizing/fitting, and getting me on the RIGHT bike with NO pressure or up-sell. In the end, I fell in love with and purchased the Trek Checkpoint ALR 4 in Lavender Haze, kitted out for touring. Adam worked diligently in arriving at a very fair price and was also gracious in sharing his considerable knowledge, experience and advice for riding the type of trails that I aspire toward, such as the C&O/GAP. Of note, another Trek dealership closer to home offered to match the price for the same bike, but the stellar service I received from Adam won me over. Well done to Adam and Ben and the entire Bike Lane team!
UPDATE: 8/04/25: Just returned from the C&O Canal trail. The bike totally crushed the ride - even the hilly gravel between Purcellville and Brunswick. So pleased with this purchase!“

“This was my first time at Nathan’s Dairy Bar. I got the hot apples with pumpkin pie and graham cracker twist soft serve ice cream. AMAZING. quickly became one of my favorite soft serve spots in all the places I’ve lived (which is a lot). The ice cream wasn’t overly sweet but had a nice obvious flavor without that cloying fakeness ice creams often have. Partnered with their spiced, warm apples they serve on the side to avoid melting it was possibly the perfect fall treat. The apples were nicely cooked and slighhhtly crunchy while still being obviously stewed in the caramel and spices. They had a bold flavor that was again perfectly sweet instead of dripping in sugar. SO good.“

“Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“

You get a sense of "family" when you are there as staff and customers interact. Servers are fun people and make your day. Today was Rubia's day and she is special. Come out and see for yourself.“

“I stopped by Taste of Istanbul this afternoon for the first time. For the most part it was really good. I ordered a potato pide, 2 doner kebab, mixed meze, and pistachio baklava. Everything was delicious except for the”baklava”, which turned out to be two greasy dough cylinders. No phyllo, no honey, no pistachio filling. I was disappointed that I wasted $7.00 for inedible dough I ended up throwing in the garbage. Get the kebabs, stay away from their version of baklava.“

We were so pleased with our wedding cake; the flavors, texture, and uniqueness of what she delivered! The cake received rave reviews from all our guests & it was just stunning! Alison further accommodated our distant guests who joined us via Zoom and helped us send them some goodies and treats via a celebration box! Further, she even recommended our caterer and helped calm some anxious nerves about the dynamics of planning a wedding during a world pandemic! I can NOT recommend this little bake shop enough; Alison will be our go to baker for all our cake needs! PS- we highly recommend the funfetti with yuzu blackberry buttercream, and raspberry filling! “After hearing of Bunnyman for months, I decided to hit it up with a few friends on a Friday night. It did not disappoint at all. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is serene with great music. The music volume is perfect too so you can still socialize without having to shout. My favorite amenities though, are the self-pour feature, the diversity of beer flavors, and the ease of paying. The taps are really easy to use and to keep track of how much your bar tab is accumulating. On top of that, you don't have to wait at all for a refill- just head on up to the tap and pour, amazing system! The Irish Red beer was my go-to, and it was very pleasing to see that on tap when it's not actually Oktoberfest season, (I can never seem to find it most times of the year). We will all definitely be back, as well as looking forward to visiting their Lorton location! Keep up the great work and the awesome selection of beers, mad props!“

The BBQ place was super good too ... I love to pair beer and bbq ... I am pretty sure that you find a sauce that you will like out of their options.

Gluten reduced beer is something that I have been more inclined to incorporate on my drinking because my body is progressing it differently nowadays.

“Brew Birds is an amazing local cafe with fresh and delicious food, great coffee and a rotating selection of beers/ ciders. The staff are very friendly. I don't eat out during the week (only home cooked), so a Brew Birds breakfast burrito is usually the go to treat. I can personally recommend the Roast Beast, the Turkey BLT, the breakfast burrito, and the basic B. This place is my favorite part of the neighborhood!“

The fresh ingredients that clearly went into the dishes is respectable. Sunny-side instead of scrambled eggs with the fried rice is novel and scrumptious. The presentation of the pot stickers as a giant fried pancake you must turn over or crack apart like a savory Crème brûlée to access the dumpling goodness underneath was fun, if a bit greasy. The beer selection is outrageously good. Highly recommend. And get some beer to go! Clothing and glassware merch in supply, but no stickers.“
