“Everyone is very welcoming, as though you are family. Courses are served allowing time to enjoy the appetizer and digest before the next course. You are never rushed but also never ignored with someone always checking to see if something else is needed. The food is excellent with large portions. The atmosphere is relaxing and romantic with low lighting. I enjoyed everything about it and look forward to eating there again.“

“My two girlfriends and I had excellent lunch with you on Wednesday, July 24th....Welcoming, excellent service, -- good and plenty of food,...two of us had the #4 that gave us three kabobs...the seasoning was tops, one girl thought squash the best she has ever had ! I had the spinach and the salad was excellent. We will try the buffet when we go again ! This was our first time with you !Thanks !!“

“We can’t say enough good things about our experience at Duner’s! We had mixed drinks, appetizers, entrees, salads, soups and dessert. There were 6 of us and we all agreed EVERYTHING was delicious! Usually at most restaurants there’s at least one thing that isn’t as great when that much is ordered, but that definitely wasn’t our experience! We each tried a bite (or more) of everything that was ordered and we couldn’t have been more impressed! The only downside is the noise level, which unfortunately we contributed to a good bit, but the staff handled our larger party with grace and patience! The excellent food and service more than makes up for the noise. Highly recommend!!“

“No comments about the food, but, if you reserve a table you better double check. Yesterday was the second occasion when I had reserved a table for a special event and when I showed up on time I was told they were so busy and therefore had no table available. Not good business!“

“It is a nice old pub place. Went there during the UVA football game for their $3 draft pours which was on their website and instagram, and the server had no idea what I was talking about until I showed her. After she spoke to her manager, they did honor it. Also, went to get a late lunch. My wife got the TGS burger which was very delicious. It was a double patty with a little bit of heat to it but very tasty. I got a special menu item which was the chicken salad sandwich and was made by one of the chef's, who was on shift when we were there. It was the perfect sandwich for warm October day and it came with fries! Overall, not a bad place to grab a quick bite to eat and a drink.“

Driving from Virginia Beach, she really made our Anniversary special. She sang Happy Anniversary while presenting us the most amazing chocolate dessert! Highly recommend to anyone celebrating anything special in their lives!“
