“I have been coming here since I was 16, I’m 33 now. This is the ONLY place I will eat general Tso chicken. I have tried it in many places, none make it like here. They are a family owned business and literally the best in business. Everytime I think “oh they probably forgot me”, she always asks how my sister is and reminds me she knows exactly who I am!!! I use to order sooo much from the during my pregnancy that they know my neighborhood and even use to do special treatment with my drinks. Love love love this place. 100000/10“

I had the triple delight, which consists of beef, chicken and shrimp served in a beautifully seasoned sauce. It was so tasty! Mrs. H had a super tasty lo mein.

The ambience is worthy of a "Saturday night out" and there is a good choice of alcohol.

“WOW. Best little spot for quality Chinese food. There isn’t a dish i have not had. The fried chicken is finger licking, the sesame chicken is always flavorful and The Singapore Mei Fun is top tier. I’ve had other restaurants leave the tails on the shrimp, not Lung Wah. They offer delicious meals for reasonable prices and incredibly fast service. The staff is friendly and they provide any and all of the condiments you may desire (i strongly recommend the hot sauce). If you’re on the fence about trying this gem, take a leap and try it.“

“Went during a weekday lunch, very pretty decor and quiet atmosphere. Full drink menu was available, not just beer and wine. Started off with a hot and sour soup appetizer, which was flavorful and full of ingredients. For an entrée I ordered the happy family- beef, chicken, shrimp and scallops in brown sauce, with a side of fried rice. A huge heaping portion that I couldn't finish all of, and super delicious. The only two knocks for the meal were the rice- it wasn't exactly fried and just tasted like white rice that had been tossed in soy sauce or something? Still tasted fine, just wasn't really fried. The other thing being one of the scallops in the meal wasn't properly cleaned so it had gritty sand/ pebbles or something attached to it still. No big deal, it didn't ruin the rest of the food, I just avoided eating that one. It happens.My server was super attentive and sweet, food and drinks both came out quickly. Overall a great dining experience.“

“For years I’ve only eaten Chinese from here! They’re always accurate, very personable and Food is always fresh and yummy. Whenever I order, I order big and they always give a complimentary tea (8) per meal 2 orders with 4 meals each (family deal). And as a long time customer, I appreciate that!“

“We’ve been getting take out from Excel for more than a decade. The food is always good and the orders correct. We’ve ordered in person, on the phone and now order online. I don’t know the name of the woman who works there. She’s been there since we’ve been coming. She’s always friendly and quick with the orders. I highly recommend.“

“Be careful with this place. The staff is friendly. The food is the best Chinese around (in my opinion). On the other hand, when they give you a price and you go to pay that price in cash, they up charge you more. Sometimes it’s a few cents more. Then there are times when I was uncharged a dollar or 2 more. When confronted, they will say: oh, so sorry. I made a mistake. Nah bruh…you tried to beat me in the head.

If they beat me in the head for a few cents, just imagine how many other customers they do this to. Just be mindful and check your receipts.“

“This place was great, I’ve ordered Chinese from a few other places around Hull street and this one is by far my favorite. Everything is made fresh when you order and the food was flavorful, portions were good as well. We ordered large sizes and share and we will have plenty left for tomorrow.“

“It's a little ugly and I hate the look of their wall of protection. Decent amount of food for the cost. I got the egg drop soup with dumplings. Decent ingredients but they flavor it for white people (I am one). Add some heat! Don't know if you can ask for it spicy or just have to add packets of sauces yourself. I would prefer the first choice. Uncle Roger would have some naughty words to say about the lack of seasoning.“

“Great and vary menu selections. The food is delicious with big portions. I had the lunch special: served with soup or egg roll, roast pork fried rice or white rice your choice. Which is available Monday through Sunday 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Pricing is very reasonable, a good value for the money. So far the best take out Chinese food, I have eaten. I've been here 8 years and thought I had a good Chinese place near me off forest Hill but after trying Eat Rice, let me just say I give it a 8.5 out of 10. Best Chinese in Richmond. “The place was clean , don't get me wrong , but they had a lunch buffet before COVID and the setup is still there , including the labels for the food and sign with price of the buffet .
I got an Orange Chicken combo and a Sesame Chicken combo , neither of which I'd purchased from them since COVID . The smell of everything inside the dishes smelled just like they used to way back when . The taste and texture were also pretty much as I remember , down to the dash of cinnamon sugar on the egg rolls .
I will definitely be putting this place back near the top of my choices on payday Friday when I treat myself.“

I was a bit disappointed that the fries were missing from my order. The portion size also felt more like a kid’s meal than a full entrée. That said, the quality of the scallops really stood out, so I’m willing to give them another try and hope for a better experience next time.“

“I've been to, and reviewed dozens of Chinese-shops and found that they all lacked in one area or another, bringing their overall total score to an all-new high with Fu Wah, 5-stars is all I can give for perfect rice, egg-roll (unlike any other restaurant), crab-rangoon (with the cream-cheese portion-size being absolutely top-notch), General Tso's (which is by far the most revealing reason to come-back here)!For the first time, I have not had a headache from dehydration thanks to the excellent quality food-service Fu Wah has provided!Thank you, thank you, and THANK YOU!“

“Today I came for the third time to this restaurant, I like to order sweet and sour because the sauce is perfect, today I ordered sweet and sour pork and it was delicious.

The girl who helped me was very friendly and the waiting time was exactly what she indicated. As for the atmosphere, I think they should fix it up a little so that it doesn't look like a restaurant that is about to close, but the food is excellent, my order today was very well seasoned and not at all tasteless like others places.

A customer came up before me asking for a refund saying her food was cold and didn’t have great flavor.
