“I ordered the chili cheese dog....it was the best hot dog I've ever had! The roll was more like an artisan roll and didn't get soggy with all the toppings and the dog itself was large, plump and juicy. The side of tots was crispy and generously covered with toppings. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly. 100% recommend them! I'm looking forward to trying the breakfast“

“I do not understand how famous doesn’t have a 5 star review. It’s delicious and consistent. It’s everything you want in a pizza place. The pizzas are good, the salads are good, and the sandwiches are good. The bacon pineapple pizza and the chicken Greek salad are our favorites. We moved here in January and we’ve already been like 10 times and I’ve never once been disappointed. Also hats off to Famous for being open all winter!“

“We spent the weekend in Chincoteague for our 65th anniversary. On Saturday we ate lunch and dinner at Bill's. My husband had oysters for lunch and flounder for dinner and was pleased with both selections. I had shrimp for lunch and the fried seafood platter for dinner. They shrimp for both meals were very small and did not have a lot of taste. The clam chowder that was included with my dinner was delicious. The rest of the seafood was average. For sides we had the Granny Smith apple cold slaw and red mashed potatoes with cheddar and hamhocks. Both were absolutely scrumptious. Our cocktails were great, as was the service! We made reservations for dinner. The restaurant filled up quickly but there seemed to be adequate staff. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. We would go back again.“

“Good food in the middle of the tourist area. Good breakfast. There is a breakfast buffet with a lot of selections. But I prefer to order off the menu. Full breakfast with eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast, & coffee was $12 before tip on a Wed. Service was good. Not as fancy as Bill’s but a good low cost alternative. I eat breakfast there whenever I am in town and they are open (seasonal).“

“Great place to relax, eat some good food, and watch some football. Reasonably priced drinks and food in a casual bar atmosphere. They were busy and seemed shorthanded when we were there, but everyone was smiling, pleasant, and attentive. We'll be back!“

“Food is good, albeit a little expensive (it's a marina after all). I really enjoyed the crab soup (order this!) and the fish and chips were delicious. Dessert was an unexpectedly tasty surprise. The drinks are a little cloying, so be prepared for syrupy sweetness if you're ordering one of the house cocktails. Overall a lovely restaurant.“

“The food was solid diner food, nice sized sausage links, French toast was very good, eggs were over easy and perfect. If you're after a good breakfast at a decent price I'd say no complaints, however the second cup of coffee was so hot it must have come straight out of the devil's dick.
I mean coffee is hot right? We all know that so you take a tiny sip to test it, yeah? Well, be careful with that method here, as it seems to be served straight from the center of hell.
Good food though, from what I tasted after my tongue was scorched by liquid flame.
It won't knock your socks off, but it's a solid place for sure.“

“We had a great server - went on a rainy day and not crowded but loud upstairs. The clam chow was not that good like it came from a can. Appetizer shrimp was tasty but needed cocktail sauce. Rockfish taco was good but give us fries for same price instead of charging another $2.00. It’s expensive to eat there for lunch. Pitcher size water and iced tea nice touch.“
