“Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“

I ordered a mint and Turkish coffee to start with the intention of ordering lamb. When the sheep came, I was surprised in an interesting way by the presentation of the dish. The sheep is butter, soft, and cooked in the literal sense and looks exactly the same as it did in the menu, bones and all.“

“Came here twice. They have American style food and Korean style food. Their food were good both time. Coffee was good as well. The space is clean and spacious and bright. Best cafe I have been to so far.

“The moment you walk in, the environment is so welcoming, fresh, and vibey. It's like you know " this is going to be good". Then you are greeted, and the service was just that much better. She was awesome, super friendly and likeable. Didn't have to wait too long for food, clearly it was made fresh to order because when i got it (chicken ceaser wrap with fries) it was AMAZING. the fries were so perfectly crisp and warm, the wrap was balanced, warm, but not too warm because of the lettuce. Cannot rave enough about my experience, and the food. I'm looking forward to when i can make it back for another meal!“

“After reading positive reviews about this Hong Kong Tea House, I decided to try it for lunch.

The interior of this cozy cafe was clean and well-maintained, though seating options were somewhat limited. As a self-service establishment, customers can conveniently place their orders at kiosks, and I appreciated the owner’s thoughtful gesture of bringing the food to my table.

The Gyudon Japanese Beef Bowl was enjoyable, though I found it relatively standard and felt that the portion size was small for the price. The Hong Kong Coffee Milk Tea was satisfactory, and I was pleased to discover that I could adjust the sugar level to suit my taste preferences.

The establishment offers a variety of food options, including Jian Bing Guo Zi and Popcorn Chicken. I look forward to returning to sample these dishes.“

“We just want to see the Occoquan old city area just had a close look at the elegance of this beautiful location and want to have a cup of coffee and any snacks, found this Bally whack shack cafe, awesome location went up to the coffee shop ordered some lattes also muffin, the service was excellent, very kind staff on counter, feeling an antique, atmosphere around, had coffee And snacks at outside really enjoying awesome beauty of nature from there . “Oh my gosh! I love this place! We were visiting from Texas and this was our everyday morning stop (and it may or may not have been an evening snack or two also ). All the different pastries were awesome (my son had a mango cream bun every time). You HAVE to try the Tiramisu latte. Oh! Oh! And the Black Forest Cake was the friggin bomb! More than how great the food was, the ownership and staff were spectacular! We felt like we were popping in and seeing old friends. “The place was welcoming. Good customer service. I got the BLT, I was good amount of bacon. The only thing I didn’t like was that my lettuce was hot, it appears they grilled the bread with the lettuce inside. Other than that they were great.

Staff was very nice - I put on my instructions whilst using the online kiosk to remove any almond products - just in case since I know a lot of granola is made with almond - I have an almond allergy. The kind lady behind the register saw my request and asked me if I'd perfer to switch to a gluten free granola because their regular granola did contain almond.
I was very happy with how kind she was with the switch because of the almond.

Also I might be biased because I LOVE açaí bowls but the bowl I got was absolutely delicious!

“The food was quite good. The setting is nice. We got there around 11:30, were enjoying our lunch and company, then a very loud mower started up around 12:30, and it was pretty disturbing. Everyone around us was talking about it. Couldn't the mowing have been done before the 11am opening? Also, it would be nice to have recycling bins. All in all, though, I would go back and do recommend it.“

“This place is absolutely phenomenal. It’s a great place to go and meet people let alone buy some fine pastries and sit down and have a conversation with somebody that you don’t even know. I come here quite often. Just sit down and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or a Boba tea. I need a fine pastry. I end up leaving with 50+ dollars or more in pastries either for my family or friends and family at work each and every time I come in this place it’s absolutely amazing. The service is beyond the people that come to this place are awesome. “10/10! Their burritos are nicely seasoned, but not overpowering nor greasy at all- super juicy but zero leakage through the tortilla (I got the Mexican burrito)! Prices were lower than expected for a cafe! I was also looking for some low sodium options for a friend with health conditions and the staff was very kind and gave great recommendations that my friend thought were perfect :). Definitely will be returning here often!

“We ordered mango and red bean bingsoo and they were really delicious. Mango had sweetness with a hint of tang from mango. The shavings were smooth and so creamy. Good food but lack of service. There was no interaction between customers and workers. We will be back for bingsoo.“

Really nice improvements here at this location the past few weeks to bump my review up to 5 stars for this Panera.
For reference we stop by 1-2 times a week at this location. Typically between 3-4.
We frequently order the Roasted Turkey & Avocado.

⚜️First of all, I want to start by saying oh my goodness, it's so cold. ⚜️I guess fall weather has already started in the United States of America in Fairfax, VA Especially since I actually live here. ⚜️Second, your library is so big on so many levels like five times more. it could be a mega mansion on many accounts perhaps one day a world historic site. ⚜️Who knows that the last comment is a bit of dry French and never wet humor and sarcasm too. ⚜️Anyway, from my multiple visits here.⚜️ I love this slice of paradise where it is calm, peaceful, warm, serene, sweet and have amazing romantic vibes from an artistic point of view too. ⚜️Finally, I like to study here too and explore things on my time while the world outside of these beautiful library buildings is noisy, crazy, chaotic and all that. ⚜️Is it true? ⚜️Oh yes indeed with something crazy or another always happening on the quad outside the Johnson Center. ⚜️I think this is the best place to do any work without problems and get the best grades while completing my degree. ⚜️Tip: The best places for this whole quiet area only are the upper level of this library building itself. ⚜️I find it incredibly interesting that you have an overpriced but good food cafe at the entrance. ⚜️I think the most romantic view is from outside the building looking in at night and from inside the building looking out during the day. ⚜️ Hint: the first place of peace and quiet for me is the church and my church family indeed comes family, the library, studies, work, adventures in life all in this strict and particular pecking order. Anyway, back to the analogy mentioned before that about the building being romantically beautiful at night and during the day too. It's a bit like with the classic monuments of the world like the Eiffel Tower ⚜️✝️⚜️🇪🇺🇫🇷🇹🇫🇼🇫🇬🇫🇲🇶, the Tower of Pisa ⚜️🇪🇺✝️⚜️🇮🇹, and the late twin tower complex of New York itself. “Usually First Watch is very good. Good food and good service. Kind of a slow wait, if you get there around 10am on Sunday. Unfortunately, Sunday, April 21 wasn't as good. Got there about 7:45am. Hubby and I got sat to the left of the bar area. Sat for about 10 minutes. A guy, by himself, got seated in the same area. He was served his coffee and his order was taken. I said to the server, "Don't forget about us over here." She looked over and then left. We waited a few minutes, then got up and asked to speak to the manager. He said sorry about that, we can seat you in another area if you'd like. I noticed the server starting out, then she turned around and went the other way. Not sure what her problem was that day. So we went to IHOP, got sat and served right away.“
