“When you’re looking for a
local favorite, this feels like it needs a Michelin star but it has the prices of a mom and pop restaurant. Everything from the appetizers, entrees, drinks, and desserts make it a place I’ll go out of my way to come back to when visiting.“

“This is my go to coffee spot and you really can’t beat the price. Even when I add oat milk to my lattes my total is usually around $5.50- much cheaper than most coffee shops in the area. I love the brown butter toffee and the blueberry cobbler lattes. Some of the workers definitely make the lattes better than others- on a one off occasion my latte tasted like nothing as if they didn’t put any of the flavored syrups in. Their strawberry lemonade is also very good! In terms of sandwiches, I love the chunky dunk and my boyfriend is a big fan of the club sub- even claiming it’s the best sandwich he’s ever had. Ive been coming to this spot since they were a little shack down the street- I love it!“

“Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“

“Lil Cow Cafe Bistro, located in Rolling Valley Shopping Center in Burke, offers a cozy, farmhouse-like atmosphere with large windows that flood the cafe with sunlight. It serves fresh, high-quality food, especially sandwiches, with a diverse menu, friendly staff, and charming fall decorations. We loved the large logo in the center. The coffee, brewed with La Colombe beans, was excellent—robust and not watered down.

We were delighted to find perfect sandwiches this morning. You can choose your bread from Whole Wheat, Soft White, Wrap, Sourdough, or Ciabatta. We highly recommend:
1. Southwest Wrap, containing grilled chicken, avocado, spinach, tomatoes, onions, provolone cheese, and Chipotle Aioli. All ingredients were fresh, tasty, and the sauce complemented everything nicely.
2. Gourmet Bacon Chicken Cheesesteak sandwich, made with grilled chicken breast, crispy bacon, and cheese on an Italian Hoagie roll, and served with French fries. The ingredients were fresh, the sauce excellent, and the bread light and not dense, resulting in a satisfying sandwich.“

“Love this place! The staff is incredibly wonderful. Always so sweet and helpful. Always willing to answer questions, offer suggestions, and improvise when needed. Been multiple times and have always had a great experience. They also work their butts off keeping the orders cranking out. We have a gluten allergy and dairy allergy in our family so they are always helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating when we order. The space is adorable. You can feel the vibe that is a kind, loving, community space.“

“First off this place has no business being so GREAT. I’m from nyc so I crave a bacon egg and cheese every now and then . Found this gem in the middle of nowhere. Thank god because it was delicious and the homefries were phenomenal! Had flavor unlike some places where it taste plain . Definitely recommend stopping by here . “If i could i would give this place zero stars..but not an option. I was a new visitor to this establishment, and let him know that prior to ordering. Wanted the turkey (happy place) a drink and a scone. I get my meal and there is no turkey on it. So I got back and explained I wanted the turkey happy place. He said no you ordered the "our happy place". I said sir I even pointed to what I wanted on the menu. I didn't realize there were two items with the same name. He said that is your fault and you should know the menu. I said we'll I had let you know prior it was my first time here. He said I don't care if it's your first or 3rd you should know the menu. He said I'm not going to remake it., that's what you ordered. I said I would of never order anything with spinach because I'm allergic to it. He said so..I'm not remaking it! So not only did I have to wait a long time for thr sandwich, I couldn't eat it cause I was allergic to the ingredients. So I get back to my office hungry and upset to realize he didn't put the scone I paid for in thr bag. So I call and he says oh next time I will give it to you. No apology or anything. ..and next time, I paid for it this time. Very rude to new customers and would never spend my money there again. I don't understand why he was so rude. You think you would want to retain customers so they will do repeat visits.“

“I'm at a loss for words! I only discovered this place thanks to my fiancé. He raves about it every day but never brings anything home. So, I decided to tag along with him on his way to work.

All I can say is OMG! The portion sizes are just right, and I'm gradually making my way through the entire menu. Everything I've tried has been delicious, and the best part is that it's incredibly affordable! Customer Service is 10/10 everyone is nice and friendly!“

“My waitress Ms. Zafirah was great! She was friendly, courteous and helpful. My good however was a problem. I’m 37 weeks prego. I ordered the trifecta with a pancake. Had to send it back 3 times in order to get hot food. Was not happy about the kitchen service but my waitress was nice.“

“This is one of my favorite bakery’s for sweet bread! I can’t stress enough at the fact that if you love Mexican conchas not every place makes them the same! I’ve trained different bakeries and this is my Number one for conchas! The softness and right amount of sugar and it doesn’t have the yeast, baking powder taste to it like in other places. So if you are looking for conchas they make them fresh every day, they are done by 1pm BUT they are so popular so they are gone by 6pm! So check your time! I’ve been coming here for a month now and every time I come they aren’t finished being made yet or they are gone already haha. Let me tell you the waiting game is sooooo worth my drive for it! Come get your conchas! They have other pastries and other kinds of pan dulce (sweet bread). Finally got my bag today so I can go enjoy a piece with my coffee ❤️“

“On "Oyster Mondays" (from 4pm-close), there are specials on oysters: $1/oyster on a half shell, $16 fried oyster basket comes w/herbed fries, $16 oyster po' boy w/herbed fries. Also, M-F happy hour deals on drinks and half-price appetizers. We enjoyed excellent service from Janine (who is invaluably bilingual). The oysters were fresh, clean, sweet and briny. We have been to oyster specials at other restaurants and find that the quality at Wegmans Pub is always good. Outside happy hour or on the regular menu, the food is tasty and comprised of quality ingredients.“
