“My husband took me a date here. It was my first time and I had a great time with him. The food was absolutely amazing! But it is American-Italian. It was not Italian Italian… if you know Italian dish then you will know what i am talking about. Anyway, the waiter was kind and friendly. Which I really care about. The restaurant ambience was nice. I like how the table set up, I like privacy screen. They gave us chocolate, that was nice. Oh the price of the meal was great and unlimited, WHAT! But there was not much alcohol in my cocktail😕💔 We paid like $70 with tax for 2 people. I like the songs! Could be nicee with Italian songs though. Anyway, I would definitely recommend this restaurant 💯”

“Colonial Italian Restaurant in colonial heights: if you have an Italian taste bud it’s great. My husband and I sat at the bar for our first time there. After sitting there for about 10 mins we were finally asked if we were dinning in or carrying out. coming from a past server/bartender the service was HORRIBLE. Food was great. I got the build your own pasta with a soup. Soup came out first, after finishing that the plate and bowl sat there until we left. My plate from my pasta after being boxed sat there until we left as well. Felt like we were just a nuisance to her evening. The bartender was NOT FRIENDLY, and I know from past profession we have our good days and bad days but what an experience. She had more conversation and friendliness towards her “regulars” that came in than anyone that was sitting at the bar. We will definitely sit at a table next time.”

El Mofongo suavecito y con un delicado sabor a ajo y si lo combinas con Pernil de cerdo, te chuparás los dedos. Los Sorullitos de maíz, muy perfectos para ser hechos en casa y acompañados con el mayoketchup o salsa tropical, son exquisitos acabados de hacer, calientitos. El estacionamiento se les quedó pequeño. El lugar es muy fácil de encontrar. El salón es muy amplio aunque algo frío y no necesariamente por el AC. No recuerdo ninguna decoración en particular y éso me asombró. Esperaba algo más pintoresco, más colorido, más caribeño. Con la excepción del joven que habla entre dientes y la señora apurada, la chica de la caja es bastante atenta. Una 2nda persona al frente sirviendo las órdenes no vendría mal. Al final necesité mi ticket y tuvimos que abrir la puerta para que sonara la campanita y notaran que esperábamos. Y por último sí, sí volvería a éste lugar de comida sabrosa nuevamente a probar lo que olvidé la 1era vez.”

“We had some extra time on our hands, so we stopped in. We were surprised to find Keto bread there at less than half the regular store prices. We saw several items that looked good. Service was good. The store was well stocked and clean.”

“The pizza was tasty, but the crust was a little bit too hard. I ordered the 3 meat pizza. What I don't like is, the person that loading the items on the pizza is constantly picking up his phone in between orders and doesn't wash his hands. And the guy thats boxing them up are doing the same thing, although he is not touching the food. This observation was a few weeks ago. But, I like their pizza a lot.”

“Every time I go to dances I always find what I’m looking for, if not someone always helps me find what I’m looking for! Definitely had to give them a great review after I came in there Black Friday about purchasing a handgun for myself and Wade was incredibly patient, with me going all over the place about what I’m looking for in the next year to start my collection and SUPER knowledgeable! I came back in there the other day to look at some more I overlooked that he had shown me, I’m positive everyone else behind the counter is also knowledgeable as well but I definitely wanted to magnify the understanding and consideration for a woman who isn’t sure what she wants! Ive always had some anxiety about purchasing a handgun because of the stereotype gun-store staff treating people like “potential” customers. I definitely didn’t get that feeling at all. One of the only places I can’t wait to go back to spend my money!”

“Just made a trip to Skrimp Shack in Colonial Heights, Virginia. Haven't been in awhile order a flounder dinner. The food is still great tasting and the staff is still very friendly,greeting you with a smile. Nice to know that there is still some places around where the food,service and staff is superb. “The steamed dumplings one of my favorite dumplings. You can tell it's a family recipe and their custom dumpling sauce is addictive.

Even though I moved away from the restaurant a while ago. I'll order two sets of dumplings for myself and a third one to play distraction so no one knows I have two sets of secret dumplings to keep all to myself.

They still taste just as amazing from when I tried them in 2014 to present day”

“This place is great. Our order was quick and easy, and the food options were great. Fries are nice and crispy, not too salty and properly seasoned, and also the food is absolutely delectable. The Gyro’s served here are absolutely great. Drink options are good too. Only reason why service is a 4 is because they were understaffed, but they were doing a great job nonetheless. 5/5.”
