I have always enjoyed at Panera Bread. Recently that has changed, the restaurant was dirty especially the bathroom, and all the bagels were overcooked. I think I will stop going to the Colonial Heights store.
The pic says it all! Look at the lettuce they put ony sub. Disgusting!
Great staff, food is yummy, WiFi is great for getting work done!

Panera Bread offers a good selection of soufflés and other dishes. The ambiance is nice, with a fireplace and a welcoming atmosphere. It's a great place to enjoy bread and soups, with a variety of options to choose from.
The new location in Colonial Heights has a different layout compared to other Panera Bread restaurants, with fewer bread choices on display. Some customers found the atmosphere to be more like a cafeteria and too bright. The drive-thru experience was mixed, with one customer waiting about 15 minutes. The Kickin' Grilled Cheese had a hint of spice, and the creamy salsa verde was a tasty addition, but the bread was not toasted enough, and the cheese was not melty. The creamy tomato soup was delicious, but both the grilled cheese and the soup were on the saltier side. The fresh Kitchen Sink cookie was a sweet finish to the meal.
Despite the mixed reviews, customers generally find the food at Panera Bread to be good, with the bread being made regularly as it should be. However, some customers feel that the prices are expensive, with one customer spending $33 for a "Pick Two" meal and some pastries.
