The staff were charming, professional and friendly.The coffees were what we needed and the egg and bacon burrito was exactly right and delicious.We were in a hurry so got our order to go, but reluctantly because the place itself is so welcoming. Next time we’ll take the time to sit by the fire.“
“I've been stopping by Bahama Sno Shack my entire life and today's snow cone was the absolute best I've ever had. The lady who helped us was very friendly and said they'd recently switched to Breyers ice cream and they make all of their own syrups. It was lovely, stop by a grab one for yourself and see ☺️“
“It was my first time in Fruits & Roots today. Bright and airy inside, and smells of fresh baked [banana] bread and fresh cut fruit. It was soooooo good - i would come back again and again just for the smells, but everything i had was as amazing as it smelled in there! I got the Banana Bread bowl and the Beet Vitality juice. Both nutritious and incredibly delicious - and their granola is outstanding!!! Cant wait to go back and try more.“
“I go here on lunch 2 times a week, I work nights, and they are always packed. Go inside because the drive thru is lined up all the time! Barbecue cookout tray is where it's at, Cajun fries and a chicken quesadilla for the sides, with a Cheerwine. AMAZING every time, and I never get tired of it, unlike my girlfriend and her friends! It's always fresh, and they have never gotten my order wrong. Keep up the good work guys, I know I couldn't do it!“
“Glad to finally have a place to get Boba tea in the mall! I’ve had better before, but this does make it more conveniently located. No real complaints besides the powder wasn’t fully mixed in my drink and shaking it really didn’t help mix it in much. The Strawberry Brûlée tea was delicious!“
“WOW! I liked the other two coffee shops I’ve tried in Roanoke but this is my clear favorite. Unbelievably smooth but still extremely flavorful. Even a plain latte here has more complexity to the flavor profile than a flavored latte at most other coffee shops. Service is also prompt and friendly and I really like that it’s in a food court with a lot of other places you can explore. Highly recommended — check it out!“
“Ice Cream is my favorite dessert, and when I was told about Bruster's Ice Cream, I definitely had to go try them out. I first viewed the app and signed up to receive notifications of when my favorite flavors were available, and to receive points every time I ordered from Bruster's. What a wonderful operation they had there I thought to myself. But now I had to go see the place and try out the ice cream itself to see if it deserved all the recognition it was getting. I arrived at the building and was impressed that there was no indoor seating for the place. The great variety of ice creams occupied the inside of the building. There were many glass windows where you could see inside and the menu was on big signed attached to the windows. There was an ordering and pay window on one side of the building and a pick-up window on the other side of the building. On this side there were also some benches where one could sit on a warm day to eat their ice cream. As we approached the ordering window, we were greeted by a gentleman who had on a very bright red t-shirt and a red crab hat. He took our order and charged us which by the way the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the ice cream. We both ordered two scoops of Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream inside a Waffle nest inside a bowl. The same person who took our order, Ryan, went and served our ice creams and brought them to the pick-up window. All this leading up to the first taste and wow was this ice cream flavorful and creamy! I savored every bit of it and highly recommend this place to all you ice cream lovers like myself. I promise you, you won't be disappointed. On the other hand you'll be amazed at the taste and the experience would make you want to come back and tell your friends about it!“
“Ordering on the app and then picking up always works out great. If you choose “classic dinner time” (6-8pm on a Saturday) you might have to wait longer than normal. Otherwise it’s always on time, the food is good and hot (or we’ll made smoothies). The people are always friendly!“
“I have never been to one of these places until recently. There were 2 ladies working there who were very nice. Decent menu, quick service. My only complaint is that there are no low, no-sugar options for the smoothies. That would make me a regular.“
“What a gem of a place! - I was looking for "not-starbucks" on my drive to NC from Maryland. What amazingly wonderful and upbeat folks...serving with JOY, from the heart. The menu is massive and the vibe is local and sweet. They were not kidding when they said the iced tea is good. I'm a tea snob and wow, they nailed theirs. They make it with spring water and added tapioca pearls to make it fun! Stop in. Be prepared to smile. You will not be disappointed! AND!!! If you've got road fatigue with the family, this is a great place to stretch your legs and play yard games with the kids. Enjoy!“
