“I enjoy their mocha lattes, but the absolute best is their fresh soft pretzels. My little girl LOVES stopping in for a pretzel date! Often they have to bake them still, so we order, then spend 8-10 minutes in TicTac Toys with clean fingers, then pick up our piping hot pretzels and eat in the charming (and peaceful) nook they've created for patrons.
A great source for tins from The Republic of Tea, bulk coffee beans, and scooped ice cream as well.“

“I have eaten at Broad Porch Coffee Company twice now. The first time I had the chai latte with a Biscuit Sammy and both were very delicious! The second time was at their Porchlight Plates, private dinner service which was managed by Brandon Tapley, whom I must say did an impeccable job! The food creations, by Maria Cooper, during this event was incredibly scrumptious! They provided a very memorable dining experience with beautiful ambience and decor! The service by Abby was impeccable and the live music by Tjax_21 was fantastic! I really can’t say enough good things about Broad Porch or recommend it enough! You simply have to try this place out.“

Went there on saturday morning and it wasn‘t too busy.
They also have a few baked goods (probably from a local backery) that are really fresh and warmed up for you if you wish so.

“First, let me say that the coffee game in Harrisonburg is strong. One of the few coffee houses I stopped at while attending a conference at Massanetta Springs Conference Center, Black Sheep was great: the drinks were well-prepared, the space was open, there was plenty of seating, Wi-Fi was strong for working, and there was a clear local vibe. Five stars all around.“
“An idyllic, spacious spot to enjoy wine and coffee. The wooden structure looks traditional, reminiscent of the early pioneer era in the U.S. I highly recommend this place when you travel to Harrisonburg—it’s one of the attractions you should visit.“

“I have been going to Starbucks for years. Since the beginning. This Starbucks is so much like they were back in the day. Yes, it’s clean, yes, it’s new and nice BUT what sets this place apart is that the staff is incredible. I have no idea how they are able to be so respectful and nice daily but they pull it off. Personal thanks to these great people who get up early in the morning, get this placed prepped, say hello, and smile when they serve you.“
