“I enjoy their mocha lattes, but the absolute best is their fresh soft pretzels. My little girl LOVES stopping in for a pretzel date! Often they have to bake them still, so we order, then spend 8-10 minutes in TicTac Toys with clean fingers, then pick up our piping hot pretzels and eat in the charming (and peaceful) nook they've created for patrons.
A great source for tins from The Republic of Tea, bulk coffee beans, and scooped ice cream as well.“
“We are absolutely thrilled with our etched glass on our side lites and window over our entry door. We wanted to do something special to commemorate our 50th wedding anniversary this year. John & Jane Braithwaite are a treasure! Together they created a beautiful masterpiece of etched glass with various birds and tree limbs/leaves. Our entryway has been totally transformed and we are so pleased. John & Jane are a joy to work with and their expertise and precision are impeccable. Thank you for creating such stunning artwork in our home. We are forever grateful!“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Delicious Breakfast and Amazing Pastries!** Stopped by for breakfast and was really impressed! I had a Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich on a biscuit—it was hot, fresh, and packed with plenty of maple butter. Great value for the price! The pastries were super fresh, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend Broad Porch Coffee for a tasty breakfast or a sweet treat!“

“The BEST coffee shop around! When I moved here from the city and looked for a coffee shop, I knew I was going to have to deal with the quality was because there isn’t much in town, close by. BOY was I in for a good surprise!!!! The coffee, amazing. Very good quality. The atmosphere, top notch. Cozy, inviting, cleanly. The ladies know my coffee order, and always make my coffee taste exactly the same every time! They are patient with newbies, and there’s plenty of seating, and nice natural light. Now that they are in the front of the building, they are neighboring to the cutest little book store as well, which is fun to shop around at, while waiting for your order. All around so grateful I found this little spot, it’s actually kept me alive honestly! Commuting for work is rough some days! Thank you ladies!! You are all wonderful 💘“

“I’ve watched the former shop before this coffee shop grow and also this coffee shop grow over time. The community in Harrisonburg would be nonexistent if this shop was not here. Very open space and friendly baristas. Amazing manager and extremely skilled at what they do.“

“Just came back to the area and this place was a great as it was when I left. Tons of selections in many categories. All the local wine selections you could want, tons of craft beers, awesome choices of nuts and cheese. Attached if a coffee shop and bakery and this place even has a beer bar inside (how cool). It’s my go to for specialty items and a really nice market overall“

“Better than Starbucks at B&N. Frappes are really good. Baristas are always polite but sometimes there's nobody there. The Treacle Tart frappe is good. I recommend ordering from the specials. Nice treat to enjoy in BAM. Prices are on par with other coffee places.“
