“I had the pleasure of visiting the brewery last weekend. The beer selection was varied and very good. I especially liked the Pumpkin and the Porter. We ordered food and it was served quickly and in large portions. Our menu items were the nachos, Rockfish sandwich, and the fish tacos which were all delicious. I met the owner, Mark, his wife Deborah, and their daughter Rachel. They were extremely friendly, personable, and quite funny. This is a great brewery and I hope to get a chance to visit again. I highly recommend Cape Charles Brewery.”

“Pleasant service and they had a flavor of wine for everyone in the group. Despite being on a beautiful estate apparently near the bay, the tasting room was in a warehouse in the middle of a field, and was surprisingly uninviting and industrial (floor to ceiling pallets of wine cases surrounding the tasting area). Feels like the tasting experience is an afterthought, and was self-guided with no info about winery or wines discussed. Large outdoor space with lawn games for the kids but limited shade on a blazing July day.”

Try the caprese salad, meatballs, pasta, lasagna and all of the daily updated menu selections - all are authentic and made by a chef who loves to cook and treats you like family. His wife is the most charming and caring person in Cape Charles. Try this wonderful experience- you will not be disappointed. Truly a gem in this town!”

“Top China is a Chinese-American Restaurant that excels at providing exactly what you're looking for. Despite a lack of other rival restaurants that offer similar cuisine, (it's a small town, of course) they continue to provide fantastic food for their patrons. I've had similar food from various areas all over the country but what I can say, is that Top China provides consistent results.In a world that changes their ingredients to suit rising costs, sometimes the food just doesn't taste the way it "used to." You won't find that here. Everytime I order my favorites, it's exactly as good as before. Of course, their prices have risen over the years, but what restaurant hasn't fallen subject to the same? Despite that, my family and I can always rely on Top China to provide great food that we know we'll be more than happy with.”

“Our sister suggested that we stop in Cape Charles on our way from Maryland to NC and she specifically recommended to get a grab & go lunch (our time was short) at Cravings. OMGOSH, our sandwiches (ham & Swiss on rectangular homemade croissants)were AHHH-MAZING!! We encourage EVERYONE to visit Cravings and be ready for a great treat for your tastebuds! The owners are delightful!!”

“October 2, 2021- Very good! I come to Cape Charles all the time and have been wanting to stop here forever. Finally made it today! Saw the special on their Facebook page and decided to give it a try. It's the Shorely Pumpkin. Pumpkin pie ice cream, caramel swirl, whipped cream, waffle, graham cracker around the edge and probably some other stuff in there too! 😂😂💯🙌”

“We happened into this very quaint cafe in the Northampton Hotel in Cape Charles. We were here in the off season so not many choices. This was the most amazing breakfast. Open from 8-12 with a brunch menu. My daughter had the strawberry and Nutella crepes, I had the spinach, tomato and Shrimp crustless quiche and my mom had the almond butter yogurt and fruit. Everything was amazing and the presentation was beautiful! I highly recommend stopping in and having a delicious bite!!”

“We had been on trails in the area all morning and realized it was late afternoon & we hadn't eaten. As we were driving we saw the billboard for this place & decided to do the order ahead.

We both got the mix & match as well as an additional order to share, if needed, because we were so hungry. We only needed our own mix & match (saved the other for a late night snack), which we ate at one of their picnic tables.

The server was friendly when we went to pick up the food & a few people were inside eating. After being outside all morning and afternoon, it seemed fitting to enjoy our food in the trees at the picnic tables. The temperature was perfect. It wasn't buggy at all. It was the perfect late lunch, food and atmosphere combined. We'll definitely stop there again if we are passing through.

If ordering to go, they give you all the sauces you need as well as napkins and plastic silverware. If eating outside, there are plenty trash cans to get rid of your trash when you are done eating.”

I ordered the 2 egg omelet and it was huge!! Packed with cheese and cooked perfectly!!
My daughter got the French toast and it was crunchy on the outside and very full of cinnamon flavor. BF ordered pancakes and eggs over hard and that was perfect to! Thank you for making our last day in Cape Charles memorable! We will definitely be back our next trip!”

“I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! The shrimp was horrible and way over priced over battered, and fried too hard hell I cut the roof of mouth up eating that💩...how do you buy shrimp from a big box store and turn around and resell it..for 22$ 8 shrimp and fries the shrimp should have been peeled, deveined, butterflied,hand battered and drop in oil. I would not recommend this place. It's sad that the freakin locals thinks this place is good. I saw in another review the best thing they got was the cornbread. Two servers and one cook. not to mention it cost us 32$ round trip to travel on that tunnel/bridge. well you read my review....eat and spend your money at your own risk.”
