“I had the pleasure of visiting the brewery last weekend. The beer selection was varied and very good. I especially liked the Pumpkin and the Porter. We ordered food and it was served quickly and in large portions. Our menu items were the nachos, Rockfish sandwich, and the fish tacos which were all delicious. I met the owner, Mark, his wife Deborah, and their daughter Rachel. They were extremely friendly, personable, and quite funny. This is a great brewery and I hope to get a chance to visit again. I highly recommend Cape Charles Brewery.”

“In my solo travels I passed The Great Machipongo Clam Shack. It looked really cute and I remembered my son and his dad mentioned they went there and said they loved it. So I decided to stop. As soon as I entered I loved the vibe. Behind the counter, there was a bumper sticker that said practice forgiveness. They had pictures of the Dalai Lama on the wall. They had peace, love, and clams painted on another wall along with Imagine. The staff was kind and attentive and made me immediately feel at home. I chatted with one of the employees named Lisa and appreciated the “love is the answer” bumper sticker she gave me as I left and will proudly display it on my car along with my other “hippie” bumper stickers. As I sat waiting for my food I enjoyed listening to music from the 60s and 70s. My food was brought to me by a woman that greeted me with a big smile. I was checked on a few times by the various friendly employees. If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping by this restaurant. The food was great and I left feeling I had a wonderful experience.”

“Froggy's was recommended by a friend, and I am so glad. I ordered a custom pizza: White, with onions and basil. They had fresh basil !!! I have had pizza all over this country, and I can honestly say this is one of the very top bests I have ever tasted. Fresh, beautiful ingredients in perfect, exquisite proportion, baked to perfection. So happy to know where to go for great Pizza!!!!!!! Thank you.”

“Our sister suggested that we stop in Cape Charles on our way from Maryland to NC and she specifically recommended to get a grab & go lunch (our time was short) at Cravings. OMGOSH, our sandwiches (ham & Swiss on rectangular homemade croissants)were AHHH-MAZING!! We encourage EVERYONE to visit Cravings and be ready for a great treat for your tastebuds! The owners are delightful!!”

The restaurant is quaint, cozy, and a very friendly staff that went out of their way to make certain every need was met. Highly recommended and look forward to returning.”

“October 2, 2021- Very good! I come to Cape Charles all the time and have been wanting to stop here forever. Finally made it today! Saw the special on their Facebook page and decided to give it a try. It's the Shorely Pumpkin. Pumpkin pie ice cream, caramel swirl, whipped cream, waffle, graham cracker around the edge and probably some other stuff in there too! 😂😂💯🙌”

I ordered the 2 egg omelet and it was huge!! Packed with cheese and cooked perfectly!!
My daughter got the French toast and it was crunchy on the outside and very full of cinnamon flavor. BF ordered pancakes and eggs over hard and that was perfect to! Thank you for making our last day in Cape Charles memorable! We will definitely be back our next trip!”

“A cozy, contemporary, almost zen coffee joint. It joins an equally admirable hotel. The colors, textures, music, and atmosphere are wonderful. Amazing breakfast burrito. Excellent dirty chai. The hours are limited, however.”

The shrimp was horrible and way over priced over battered, and fried too hard hell I cut the roof of mouth up eating that💩...how do you buy shrimp from a big box store and turn around and resell it..for 22$ 8 shrimp and fries the shrimp should have been peeled, deveined, butterflied,hand battered and drop in oil. I would not recommend this place. It's sad that the freakin locals thinks this place is good. I saw in another review the best thing they got was the cornbread. Two servers and one cook. not to mention it cost us 32$ round trip to travel on that tunnel/bridge. well you read my review....eat and spend your money at your own risk.”
