“Mama Maria's is now our favorite Salem Restaurant. We were gone from this area for over 22 years and recently moved back here after retiring. I have tried a lot of Italian Restaurants, but none of them match up to this one (except maybe one in NY). Since we re-found this, we have returned at least once per week since our return. Everything is freshly made and delicious. The red sauce (or gravy) is the real thing. The flavor is perfect. It is not spaghetti and meatballs. Portions are large enough to share, salads are fresh, bread comes prior to meal with 3 dipping oils which require finishing, (bread is homemade and melts in your mouth). Senior meals for people old like me are perfect size and generous, they come with choice of side salad or soup. If you happen to be there on crab bisque day...do not miss it!!! Atmosphere is clean and not crowded, Service is efficient and friendly, and it is a great value for your money!“

“My husband forgot to order (for another day…) 6 pizzas that I needed to pick up and drop off at the school at a certain time. I ran in and told them the situation. They got right to work and did it for me immediately. Thank you guys. Truly appreciate it.“
