“Very popular lake on nice days with plenty of activities for families from fishing to hiking the trail, and Frisbee golf! The lake was designed for fisherman in mind so to be on the water with your own personal craft you are supposed to be actively fishing according to the regs, but they don't tend to enforce it anymore. I usually fish from my Kayak, but there are plenty of shore access places as well. Because of that this place is heavily fished, but if you have patience you can hook some big fish or spend a day with children catching numerous pan fish.“

“If you are gluten intolerant this may be the beer for you. I have been gluten intolerant for 13 years now. I used to enjoy a beer here and there. Some of the gluten free ones out there are eh, at best. This beer has a full body taste. I did not have any issues drinking it. Now, that being said if you are gluten intolerant you must know yourself really well. It may not be for you, but than again it may. I am just excited that I had no issues and enjoyed a full tasting beer!“

“My husband and I had dinner at D’Roccos in Occoquan tonight. They are under new management and reviews were great, so we went. Our server, Yun, I believe she said she was an owner or related to the owner (🤦‍♀️).She was amazing as was all the staff. We were a bit hesitant as walked in along with a party of 14 and several smaller ones but it was all hands on deck, for wonderful food, with timely delivery! We had the calamari- cooked so perfectly you could cut it with a fork! The lasagna was very good with a tomato and bechamel sauce with veal and pork. I had the octopus with fingerling potatoes and zucchini… AMAZING! I’m an octopus junkie! Tiramisu was not a classic presentation though it was excellent! We loved it! Check it out! “Interestingly, the best part of Ono is the sister businesses co-located with them, a BBQ place. Most of the Ono beers were OK but low on characer (we tasted all of the non-IPA beers). The best, which was, in fact, quite good, was Hellyes Helles. Ono brewing runs on a pretty cool self-service system. You, or your party, depending on how you want to pay, are given a card. You present the card to a reader at each tap and pour as much as you like. The volume of each pour is tracked and charged when you check out. Taster, as well as larger glasses, are available. I'd go back, but I might just stick to the Hellyes, unless I wanted some more coconut porter, which was my second favorite.“

“What a LOVELY addition to this area. This is my first time to Circa at The Boro, although I've heard of it before from my coworkers.

It did take a minute to find my way from the metro to the restaurant, but it is still an easy walk from the Metro and has a parking garage around the corner.

I arrived slightly earlier than my reservation, so the patio table wasn't ready. The ladies at the front were extremely friendly, as was our server, who was almost ready to serve me before I was even seated! I wandered over to the bar and asked if I can order a drink while I wait for the table and the bartender said no, I need to wait to be seated and order with the server. This is the first restaurant I've been to where I cannot order at the bar (even if I was willing to close the bill).

While our server was extremely nice, the service was extremely painfully slow. They were much faster at clearing the tables and bringing the check than they were at taking the orders. I had to keep going inside to find the server and place our orders. I guess I got some steps in during the process.

The decoration was simple, but exquisite. I loved the vibes at the restaurant, the bar, dining and patio areas. The indoor bar area was self-seating. My only complaint would be the awful, heavy, noisy patio chairs were hard to move!! There were heaters in the patio area, making it cozy.

They have a small happy hour menu, which includes house wines, beer and a specific cocktail. The small plates and flatbreads were $2 off. We ordered the house cabernet sauvignon, a couple flatbreads and appetizers. All the food was amazing. Would I return? Absolutely!!“

“After hearing of Bunnyman for months, I decided to hit it up with a few friends on a Friday night. It did not disappoint at all. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is serene with great music. The music volume is perfect too so you can still socialize without having to shout. My favorite amenities though, are the self-pour feature, the diversity of beer flavors, and the ease of paying. The taps are really easy to use and to keep track of how much your bar tab is accumulating. On top of that, you don't have to wait at all for a refill- just head on up to the tap and pour, amazing system! The Irish Red beer was my go-to, and it was very pleasing to see that on tap when it's not actually Oktoberfest season, (I can never seem to find it most times of the year). We will all definitely be back, as well as looking forward to visiting their Lorton location! Keep up the great work and the awesome selection of beers, mad props!“

The popcorn shrimp was ample and so well seasoned. The hot pretzel came out overcooked and too hard, but they were so accommodating with a replacement, and didn't ask for it, but they refunded us for the inconvenience. Totally unnecessary, but the thoughtfulness and friendliness caught our attention and is a large reason we'll continue to patronize them. Also, I could definitely bring home a large dish of the cucumber salad -- so refreshing and tasty! Hope there's a fall/winter plan to keep it open. We noticed there were individual fire pits/tables. ☆☆☆☆☆“

We had to come back the same day later in the afternoon to get some sandwiches before we hit the road again. When I say these sandwiches were 10/10, I MEAN IT!!! “Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“

“We've been looking for a dependably delicious Chinese food place forever - and we're so glad we finally found Panda House! The food, the service, the prices are all great! One thing we were looking for was a New York-style egg roll - and Panda House has them! They're crispy, tasty, and just the right size! The Curry Fried Rice is delicious, as is the Black Pepper Chicken and the Hot and Sour Soup! We haven't been disappointed by anything we've ordered from there! And the staff is so nice and friendly! Definitely try it out the next time you're craving Chinese food!“
