“Very satisfied on my first visit to Ellie Bird. We came for Brunch for my wife’s birthday. The staff were all very attentive and many wished her a happy birthday as they welcomed us in, which often gets overlooked at other restaurants, but it made her morning feel so much more special. It may seem like a small notion, but it was a touching detail to our initial visit. The brunch menu is small but packed with flavors and meaningful dishes. We love this and wish we could try it all. We decided to start with the PB&J French toast as a shared app. It’s an entree item, but upon hearing how much the owner loves this item we had to try it out. We also ordered the Pineapple Bun sliders and Tornado omelette. For us the trio of entrees was the perfect blend of savory, sweet, and salty, hitting all the right notes. Also highly recommend the Ellie Bird Latte. Glad we came, we will be back for more!“

“This place is a hidden gem! Absolutely fell in love with their smash burgers. The flavor profiles all come together so well. The burgers are so well made. You can taste the quality and service is great as well. The owner is super attentive and puts out a fantastic product. They have seating for a few people inside and a couple of tables right outside the storefront.“

“This was my second time ordering pickup from bbq chicken in Tysons, after being impressed with my previous experience. This time, my order was ready a couple of minutes after I arrived at the restaurant. It was a Friday mid-afternoon, and the place was not busy at all.
However, this time the chicken was less crispy than before. Maybe they used too much sauce, but the batter was noticeably thinner than the first time, and slightly soggy. The chicken meat was cooked well, but I much preferred my first time's results.

I will give them another chance to match the crispiness of my first order.“

“A great place to bring the kids, because they have a play area (that is clean). The staff is always friendly and goes the extra mile offering to get drink refills or throw out your trash when you are done eating. The gold standard for fast food dining experiences. “Love Pollo Campero! The only downside to this location was when we ordered our two-piece chicken meals, they said it was going to take 40 minutes because they had to make more chicken! The waffle fries are golden perfection, and their sauces (especially the Chick-fil-A Sauce and Polynesian) take everything to the next level.

Biggest caveat, which is one of their strengths, is that the restaurant makes everything fresh… The spice levels have been variable at the five or six different ones I’ve been to! I only get mild, it sometimes the mild is too spicy. Then I’ll ask for “no heat” and it will be completely unseasoned…. If I could just find some consistency in their mild, I’d be good to go. LOL So far my favorite location has been crystal city around the pentagon shops. They always add ranch, and the cook is impeccable!“

“When I went, the place was packed, I ordered after a short wait and was served almost immediately. I had the box combo, four of their chicken fingers. The breading is a very plain crunchy one that reminds me of dairy queen, but the chicken was hot and juicy. The sauce could not live up to the internet hype, it's a very mayo forward fry sauce with ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic, and a splash of worchestshire sauce. It's got more spices in it than a basic fry sauce, but there's no spicy heat. If you like it, more power to you, but they don't have a lot of locations near me, it's not worth going out of my way for.
The crinkle cut shoestring fries were different, but also not something I'd seek out on their own.
The lemonade was the same as any other I'd ever had in a fried chicken place, it's juice style, not made with lemon oil.
If you're looking for a good fast food meal, not too pricey and not too spicy, this might be the place.“

“20250714 Stopped here around 9:40 tonight to get some fried chicken for my pup. We only eat dark meat, and fortunately, they have dark meat available when I arrived this late. Thankfully, when I ordered 3 or 4 piece dark meat, I always get all legs and thighs. Unlike, Popeye that considers wings as dark meat, and their 3-piece chicken includes 1 wing, 1 leg and 1 thigh, which is annoying. I started going to KFC these last 2 visits because of it. Although my pup prefers Bojangles, and it appears that my pup likes Popeyes better than KFC. She didn't eat all her KFC chicken tonight.“
