“Very satisfied on my first visit to Ellie Bird. We came for Brunch for my wife’s birthday. The staff were all very attentive and many wished her a happy birthday as they welcomed us in, which often gets overlooked at other restaurants, but it made her morning feel so much more special. It may seem like a small notion, but it was a touching detail to our initial visit. The brunch menu is small but packed with flavors and meaningful dishes. We love this and wish we could try it all. We decided to start with the PB&J French toast as a shared app. It’s an entree item, but upon hearing how much the owner loves this item we had to try it out. We also ordered the Pineapple Bun sliders and Tornado omelette. For us the trio of entrees was the perfect blend of savory, sweet, and salty, hitting all the right notes. I only get mild, it sometimes the mild is too spicy. Then I’ll ask for “no heat” and it will be completely unseasoned…. If I could just find some consistency in their mild, I’d be good to go. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Pollo Campero in Herndon, Virginia! They catered my mother’s 75th birthday celebration, and it was truly exceptional. We had a guest list of 300 people, and every single one of them raved about the food! They loved it!

We ordered a delicious variety including their famous fried chicken, grilled chicken, chicken nuggets for the kids, rice, Campero beans, coleslaw, plantains and their incredibly flavorful mac & cheese. Everything was perfectly hot, fresh, and beautifully organized when it arrived. The delivery was punctual and seamless, which made such a huge difference for a large event like this. Thank you Okely for the delivery service.

From the very beginning, Carlos Gonzalez from the Pollo Campero call center was absolutely phenomenal. I was nervous about coordinating such a large order, but Carlos went above and beyond to make sure every detail was handled. He patiently explained everything to me and followed up with calls just to reassure me that everything was on track. His customer service was top-notch and honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with any company.

Thanks to Carlos and the amazing Herndon team, the food was a HUGE hit and helped make my mom’s birthday celebration a truly memorable day for all of us. I am so grateful and appreciative of the professionalism, care, and quality Pollo Campero provided.
