“It is a great restaurant, high quality Greek food. They said my entrée, the lamb gyro, had double protein, but that was not true. It had way too much bread and fried potatoes. Quality of the squid, lamb, beans, and pasticitio was epic. Loved the salad too, but would have liked more Tzatziki. I had to ask for my water to be refilled a few times. Brining one of those bottles or carafes of water to the table that some restaurants do would be a better fit for the restaurant.“

“My fiancée and I pre-ordered online as we were returning to Herndon. When we arrived, the restaurant had received our order but they hadn’t been notified about it, so they said it would be just a few minutes. The owner was extremely apologetic and offered us a complimentary baklava as an apologetic gesture. As the kitchen prepared our order, we chatted the the owner (Sarfraz) and he was extremely pleasant. We tried the hummus, tzatziki, stuffed grape leaves, gyro sandwich and chicken souvlaki sandwich. Everything was well seasoned, fresh tasting (even at 8pm), and reasonably priced. Definitely cannot wait to go back and try more - esp. since we live less than a mile away…dangerous! They’re admittedly still getting their feet under them as they JUST opened, but highly recommend giving this place a shot!“

I’m used to Mexican food and not many places are out here but this one wild taco place with Greek catch my eye seen the pictures online and they look freaking good so I decided to go in And buy my surprise. There was only three people it was empty and the people were white, so I’m asking myself OK I wonder how this is gonna taste but the service was magnificent. Very nice. The lady explained to me the menu which was extremely helpful and nice and when I got my food, it was to go. I couldn’t wait. I ordered a Greek taco. Holy moly. I am in love this Greek taco the beef all the vegetables. Everything was just outstanding beautifully marinated meat and then I had a quesadilla holy moly it was a giant and very, very good a little bit greasy But other than that, they put a good portion of meat cheese total experience with this place one out of 10 I give it a solid nine and I don’t do that for anybody. This just surprise me who was cooking the food which was a young teenager that look like but wowthe ingredients in the food were fresh outstanding beautiful combination and good. Definitely will go back and try their burritos and other sorts of tacos it’s worth trying to come here folks very very good food two thumbs up. Great job you guys.“

“In recent years there seems to be a proliferation of small-plate Mediterranean restaurants. But Yayla remains as one of the best, reasonably priced originals in northern Virginia. There is a pleasing range of mezzes, salads, entrees hot and cold, flat breads, spreads, etc . I had a Yayla mule, 3 spreads, lemony rice soup and superb shrimp. Friends chose a range of other dishes. I can guarantee whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed. Everything is flavorful, fresh and beautifully presented. Wait staff and servers are friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and not obtrusive. Don’t miss the nice selection of creative cocktails, wine variety and desserts. “Their pizzas are incredible, and the Greek and Italian dishes never disappoint. Even the salads, starters, and hotdogs are solid. The restaurant manager Fadi and Henry are super friendly. I have been coming here at least once a week, and I love it. Definitely one of the best spots in the area :)“

“I come here every time I get a chance, the staff is so welcoming and will do everything they can to treat you like family. The food is always perfect and the steak and chicken with the home made tzatziki is the best! I could go on and on about how much I love this place. Every time I go I leave happier and I look forward to seeing the friendly faces:) They also have the BEST gluten free pita!!!!!

“Uber eats, was not in restaurant. I actually got the chicken gyro, bogo free. Absolutely delicious! The tzatziki sauce, which in most places I find to be too minty and watery, was Absolutely delicious as well. I do security at the Buro at Tysons and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good gyro. Next time, I'll be trying the lamb!“

“Looks can be deceiving, ordered a gyro since my wife had said she liked it and I was surprise how much meat was on this wrap and I ended not being able to finish it.

Will go back to try the fries since my son finished his before I could dad tax his food.“

“I've been coming to this location since 2001 (it was called Atilla's back then) and the sandwiches & salads are always good. Stopped in today and had an old favorite a gyro with some black olives - it was great as usual. Fast & friendly service as well. You can place your order online and come in and pick it up or just walk in and order.“

We also got the Shish Kabob and Eggplant Parmesan. Both were ok, nothing special about either. The prices were very high so for the entrees so I expected better quality; however, .the portions were large.

“We ordered the half chicken with two sides. The chicken was very flavorful and moist, however the fried rice side dish was very dry and plain and the yuca fries were undercooked. Definitely would come back for the chicken but don’t expect too much from the sides.“
