“We came here on a cold windy night and the shabu shabu hit the spot! The staff were very friendly and helpful as they explained and showed us what to do. We ordered prime rib, pork, and shrimp as the proteins. I had a tonkotsu + tomato broth and my husband had the spicy miso + tonkatsu broth. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. We’ll be returning for sure. I recommend California Shabu Shabu!“

“This feels exactly what I want a sushi place to feel like. It is clean with a nice modern feel and the service is professional but kind. The food came out fast and all of the sushi was delicious, my favorite being the maguro nigiri. I do wish the rice to fish ratio was a bit higher, but I will happily come back despite that minor difference in opinion.“

“We love coming here, great ambiance and people. David the manager was very accommodating and our chef - Ryan - did an amazing job tonight. We love that they give noodles and fried rice! Also you MUST try the Tokyo Shrimp here it is FANTASTIC!! The filet mignon melts in your mouth love the salmon lobster and scallops too. Their ginger sauce, yum yum sauce, AND salad dressing are all on point. It’s hard to find a place that does everything as well as Samurai. We drive from Ashburn just to come here for hibachi.“
