I was carrying my 1 year old and she said that they have good cheap kid options for food so she talked with my daughter while she made the food super quick and made sure we had everytbing we needed, everything was so clean and fresh. We thought she was the owner because she took so much pride in what she was doing, she’s amazing!“

“Best Tex Mex restaurant in the Alexandria - Belle Haven area. This is my go to spot when I'm craving Tex Mex. Food: If you dine in, make sure to get the steak fajitas - you won't be disappointed. The fajitas come out sizzling out, and the steak is actually of great quality and comes topped with melted butter for an added taste. Recently, I've been binging their Birria Tacos which are very tasty, and comes with great sauces. Service: the service is absolutely fantastic. I was able to chat with the owner and he is a very down to earth and authentic himself, great to support our local small businesses! Ambience: It is very clean and they do a great job of spacing our guests when it's not peak hours. They play great music, and the main area can even get lively as the night progresses. If you search Mexican food in Alexandria, a few will come up that's highly rated - but trust me, 2 Jefes is at the top.“

“Stopped by for a mini brunch. The mimosas were amazing and great to get during brunch only $5 each. I decided to be sat on the patio since it was a 67 degrees out. My server was amazing, she provided a great amount of recommendations. I wasn’t super hungry, so I went with the shredded chicken taquitos with chips. It tasted so good, the flavor was super satisfying. The salsa for the chips also was tasty, perfect texture to it aswell haven’t good salsa like this in awhile. I highly recommend Urbano!“

“There’s street parking which you sometimes have to pay for but there might be a parking lot too. Just not sure. Service is great in a lively, comfortable setting. The food is even better. I tried this location partly because it’s closer to my home but also for a new experience. I was not disappointed. We went there for an early lunch and to beat the crowd. Chips and salsa were great. I had the chorizo con huevos which was delicious and so much I couldn’t finish it all. My wife had the mojarra frita with shrimps on top with a butter garlic sauce. She raved about it.“

Of the el arriero ny steak, lomo saltado, and molcajete ... the steak and molcajete win. Sadly the lomo saltado, while quite decent, doesn't hold a candle to Super Chicken in Tysons. Ok but here's the important bit: THE CHIPS. The chips are great. Not only are they thin and crispy, they're well salted AND served with both WARM and COLD salsas. I never thought anyone would do as well as Uncle Julios for chips, but ... well, Guapos does. Service: Ironically we've been twice and we had the same server both times. And she was excellent. Super friendly, quick with requests, and checked in frequently. Not only that, they clearly operate as a team and several folks came by during the meal to ensure drinks were filled, napkins were in order ... and shockingly, as we were wrapping up, someone wiped the crumbs off the table. I mean that's a white-tablecloth steakhouse thing... right? Apparently it's a Guapos thing too. Ambiance: Fun to hip. The first time we were there was opening week and the live band was both entertaining and, uh, loud. Look, we're fogies, we complain about this err ... stuff. The second time we went it was much quieter and we were able to enjoy our meals AND our conversation. The decor is pretty great, the table arrangement spacious, and the place was packed, nevertheless. I'll close out with parking. It's a big lot, and it gets crowded ... but we found spots nevertheless on a busy night. Looking for Mexican? Yeah, I'd go here again. No arm-twisting required.“

“Im so excited about this place, i was devastated when Dos Amigos closed in Springfield, found out this morning out of desperation of why it closed that Dos Hermanos was opened with the same amazing Management from the Springfield location and immediately rushed over for lunch. This is what I have been missing in my life and Im so excited as everything is just as amazing from the food to the customer service. This is my now go to spot and I will be a repeated customer with all my family!!!!“

“I love this place so much, I had to come back. The atmosphere is nice and you can feel the positive energy as soon as you walk in. The food was prepared quickly both times I came here, no complaints. I had the Shredded Beef Burrito with chili sauce and the meat was juicy, tender, and flavorful. The chili sauce wasn't too spicy so I could still enjoy the notes of other flavors in the sauce. The seafood burrito was also delicious with cheese sauce on top. Appetizers and drinks were 10/10. “I had previously reviewed this restaurant on yelp and the review has somehow been removed. Sad, because it was a 5-star review with a photo of the amazing birria torta that I ordered. It was perfectly toasted on the outside with a soft middle like it should be. And the flavor was amazing. That was my first visit. I've been back several times for takeout and dine in and I have never been disappointed. Last weekend, I met a friend for dine-in and was disappointed to see the restaurant was empty on a Saturday night. I want to stand outside waving a big sign to get people to stop in and see what they are missing. This last time, my friend ordered a taco salad -- all the ingredients were so fresh and the taco shell outside was perfectly crispy (muy importante for the salad). She and I both ordered a margarita -- which we both found to be pretty terrific. And the service is pretty outstanding. I hope this doesn't wane as the success of the restaurant increases. The staff is friendly and helpful and obviously engaged in the success of the business. I really do think the location is a deterrent. I've seen more than one restaurant fail in this location in the last few years. The inside is festive and welcoming and is a sharp contrast to the outside which is an easily-missed corner lot with a vape shop. Don't let the outside fool you -- just go! “I've gotten tacos, Mexican pizza, and nachos here, and they were all good. The best part is the price! Tippy's is one of the few places left where you can still get a full meal for less than $10. The takeaway salsa is always more watery. Service is hit or miss, but I'm not really there for the service anyway.“

“Our grandson’s end of season basketball team party was held at this Chilis. It could have been crazy like herding cats, but it wasn’t. The manager was so well organized!
