“This was my first time visiting and I was not disappointed!! A group of us got together for an adult skip day of fun at the beach. We starting having fun pulling in the lot..lol The atmosphere was perfect for a beach party without having to deal actual beach traffic. The staff was friendly and on point with every move providing everything promised and then some!! The buffalo sauce was good enough to drink!!🤣 While we are on the subject of drinks, shout to the bartenders for making drinks worth the money!! Last and definitely not least, Cabana Emily B was superb in serving our group the entire time!! We were there from 1 -7 and we saw her so much, it was like she was with us!!! Her and her counterpart did not miss a beat!!! Needless to say the group is already planning a second outing and Emily B will be requested!!! Til next time Paradise Ocean Club!!“

“I have finally found my favorite restaurant after living in the area 2 years! The food was so good I woke up this morning still imagining every delicious moment last night. The visit started with incredibly friendly staff, an original mocktail made by the talented bartender, and warm, fresh focaccia. Both appetizers ordered were superb. My main course, the butternut squash ravioli with Italian sausage...omg...the flavor in each bite...the way it hit on the palette with just the perfect blends of texture, spice and sauce was nothing short of revolutionary. It made me want to stand up and proclaim that I had FINALLY found the love I had been looking for my entire life! Luckily for those around me, I didn't do that, but I really wanted to. Our entire table was blown away as we ate varying dishes from the ravioli special to the spaghetti limone to the fresh flounder. I'm afraid anyone overhearing our table commenting on the absolutely outstanding orgasmic flavors of our food as we ate might have thought we were under the influence of psychedelics...but we were only under the influence of the exceptional food, wine and mocktails being served from the superb Chef and staff. As if that wasn't enough, we ended our meal with the chocolate mousse, which was able to give us that one last flavor climax with its perfectly balanced dark yet so satisfying chocolate tones. OMG. MIND BLOWN. Blanca reminds me of food I would find at a high end restaurant in San Francisco or NYC, yet with the friendliness, comfortable ambiance and welcoming energy of a smaller city. Wow. Just Wow. Amazing. I can't wait to go back. The world is a better place with the food and people of Blanca in it!“

“They go above and beyond: I joined my book club ladies for dinner last night at Press 626. I have some mobility issues and was advised to take the back steps upon arriving. I was well assisted up the stairs and taken to our table. The servers could not have been more pleasant. When it was time to leave one of the female employees assisted me down the front steps and to my waiting car. They made me feel very comfortable and welcoming. Thank you so much.“

“Could not recommend this place more. Cozy atmosphere for dine in. Food is always a 20 out of 10. Portions are great and flavor is off the charts. Somehow more delicious with every bite - don’t get me started on how crazy the leftover masaman curry goes after it’s had a night to really meld. “Attended the wine dinner last evening and was underwhelmed. I had called to ask if they would accommodate dietary requests such as vegetarian/pescatarian and was told no however last evening they had several people that they accomadated for dietary requests. It was disappointing to learn that too late. It was a rainy cold evening and the seating for the event was in their inclosed outside seating area. Throughout the evening you got burst of cold air in spite of the heaters it was cold. Going into the colder months I definitely would not attend if they don’t change the location of the dinner in their restaurant. The food and wine were good but nothing overly impressive. The last wine was Federalist which is a very inexpensive everyday wine that you can get at total wine for under $20. I guess I was expecting more from the wine dinner which is why I say I was underwhelmed.“

“When I visited Chicago as a child, I remember trying Chicago style pizza there several times with the family. It was . . . different. You see, I'm from St. Louis just four hours away and was tied to thin crust, like cracker thin--which I still very much love. But that Chicago pizza had such a weird texture and what not. Flashforward to today and 1,400 miles to the east, I moved to Norfolk for a job almost twenty years ago, and um. I don't know if my taste buds changed, or if this place just knows how to do it the way it should be, but that place in Chicago has nothing on this. I scoffed at first at the price, that is until I tried it at the urging of a co-worker and each slice is like a whole meal. The texture, the taste, the crust. Perfection. I never though I was a deep dish fan of any kind until Del Vecchios showed me how it is supposed to be done. Add to that the comradery of the staff and the personal nature of the wait-staff. Del Vecchios is among the best pizza I've had, bar none. They are proof of the advantages of venturing outside the safe mediocre comfort of chains and trying the smaller mom and pop tried and true places because now that I've had it, I don't want Chicago style pizza from anyone else, even in Chicago.“

“My girlfriends and I tried their dining experience yesterday and we were not disappointed at all. Our server, Cat, was amazing! We started with some drinks, which she made and OMG the Belle Isle, which has Lavender Moonshine in it, is now one of my favorite drinks! 🍹 We had the fried oysters and crab dip appetizers. The oysters were so fresh and was battered and fried perfectly, I must say. The crab dip with pita bread was so delicious! We all said we could have eaten that and would have been completely satisfied. We all ordered the same entree, the Cobb Salad, with ranch dressing. Everything was so fresh! To top everything off, we visited The Market, which is their pastry/bakery shop. I purchased the HoHo cupcake, a lemon zinger cookie and a chocolate chip cookie. I’ve eaten some of the lemon zinger and it is delicious! The General Manager was very nice and shared with us the history of this wonderful establishment. This is a place where you can take your family, have a nice day or night date, they have space for a private party or if you just want to have a nice meal at the bar. I am definitely returning. “Great food every time. I have been to the Norfolk location and the Virginia Beach location and they are both top notch. Everything I have tried is excellent. Last time we got the Smoke Stack Sammich, which includes brisket, pulled pork and their smoked sausage. It is so tasty and you get a bit of everything. The pork belly is great. The pork rinds are the best you can get. The wings with the dry rub are killer. We got the Tommy Boy, a sometimes Friday special, the best pastrami sandwich at the Beach. I haven't tried anything I didn't love yet. The staff is always on the move and is always very friendly. Already planning our next visit.“

Fresh and well presented food and our server was incredibly nice and professional. The atmosphere is warm and clean. “We came here as a group of 6 on a Tuesday evening, and we were seated at their smallest table. When we asked to be moved to a larger (there were 3 open larger tables) we were told that the "wait" was too long. All 3 tables sat empty the entire time we ate. 3 of the 6 people in our party ordered the blackened sword fish at $34/plate. The orders came as grilled and they were severely over cooked. When we mentioned that the orders were wrong, we were told that they could take that fish back add blackened seasoning and re cook the same (already overcooked) fish. We asked to speak to the manager, whose immediate solution was to take off the automatic gratuity and just not tip our server. We never got an apology for the food being wrong, and the manager was completely rude the entire time. The manager's final solution was to take $4 off of a $80 bill. We will not be back.“

I parked in the section she was at and she walked me up to the door, told me who to see and to have a great time. I had a great time! I had two great waitresses Brittny and Cris. But to have someone walk me to the door and explain everything, I knew I made the right choice. Oh she said get the prime rib or steak…the security lady. I got the prime rib, boy she was right on everything!“
