The tortilla was perfectly toasted and crispy on the outside, but still soft inside, stuffed with a ton of juicy, well-seasoned chicken and cheese that was fully melted all the way through. Nothing skimpy or super greasy about it, just really well made. What really stood out was the service. It was extremely fast - I barely had time to stand around after ordering before they were calling my name. And you can tell it's all freshly made, not sitting under a heat lamp. Hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Today was actually my second time getting the quesadilla and I was wondering if the first time was just a fluke. It was not. It was just as good as the first time I got it, still a 5/5. Super consistent, which is rare for a lot of spots/food trucks. If you are looking for quick, delicious food in Alexandria, I highly recommend California Taco food truck. Great value, fast friendly service, and that quesadilla alone is worth the stop.“

“This is the sports bar we've been waiting for in Haymarket. The service is amazing, the wings and food are great and they seem to have added a lot more flavors. The beer is ice cold and the atmosphere is everything you could want in a local sports bar. They even had the Battlefield football game on the first night we were here. This place gets it and is doing everything right.“

AVOID THE GUACAMOLE!! I find it hard to believe it's made in house based on the taste even though I know it is. Don't pay insanely high prices at a restaurant for grocery store quality guac. Plus my husband asked for a small side of guac for our meal and instead they charged him $20 for a poorly made pint and bag of chips. Stick to the reasonably priced and delicious breakfast burritos. Staff seems annoyed to have to be working but same so I can't blame em, quite honestly.“
