“Decided to get takeout from here while petsitting for my folks in Ashland. While the Fettucine Alfredo was quite good, the Calamari could have used a little more flavor. I loaded the Pizza with Spinach, Jalapenos, Tomatoes, and Ricotta Cheese. Really good but too wet. Maybe they used frozen spinach and it thawed that way. It would've been better without all the extra moisture. Still- I highly recommend checking it out for reasonably priced Fettucine!“

“2 kids and I shared a large pizza while biking around the city. Frankly, I didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. Pizza had a nice crust, both crisp and chewy. Plenty of sauce that was not a sweet as usual and enough cheese to satisfy my kids as well. Will definitely go back again.“

And the serving was generous-- enough to take half home for another night. My niece always gets, and enjoys, the Alfredo. Having lived in Italy for many years, would I say this was authentic Italian? Mine was close. Hers, not so much. I would have to return to try other options. The service was ok, nothing to write home about. I would have liked if the hostess had spoken to me in Italian, as I spoke to her. Sigh. The atmosphere, meh. Dark. Nothing particularly Italian about it. The slice of pizza I got was good and the sub was great. The fries that came with the sub were top tier, probably the best fries of any pizza place I’ve been to.
I received excellent customer service. The staff were very friendly. The dining area was clean which is always refreshing to see.
The menu is pretty varied, there’s definitely something for everyone. My only regret is I wasn’t able to try everything on it in one sitting!

All in all, I give it 5 stars. Quick service, great food and I know for a fact I’ll be back to eat there next time I’m near the city.“

“Found Dinamo quite by accident. A Richmond-centric publication mentioned Dinamo as an aside in relation to another restaurant that had since closed. When we discovered Dinamo was still open (later evening) we decided to give it a whirl. The whirling airplane prop in the front window indicated that, at the very least, things would be not boring. We were coming in towards the end of service and were nonetheless greeted with warmth. Firstly, the bread got me baking again. No small feat. They were out of the T-Bone, which is what both of us were aiming for, and recommended the chicken. I dont like chicken. This chicken was amazing. Im still thinking about the bread and the beans. “Excellent service at this location. Special order (sauce change and veggies instead of pasta) were not a problem. Sadly the broccoli had way too much garlic on it for me, so hubby got to enjoy it. And my napkin, which was nasty when I opened my roll up was replaced immediately.

Side note: Dear Olive Garden corporate, you need to do better with the clothe napkin thing or switch to paper.

“Wow! My first time at Anthony’s #2. I was welcomed by the manager (could have been the owner) and was told to sit wherever I want. The young man that served me had a fantastic attitude and did a great job. They started me with a hot, fresh baked roll and a salad. It was not a gourmet salad, but the lettuce was fresh and crisp with tomato, onions and green olives. Then the Chicken Parmesan came out over spaghetti with plenty of gravy ( yes, that is what grandpa Emilio called it) - two thick pieces of chicken. I had a glass of red wine and the bill WAS $24.00. This place is a 5 out of 5 stars for me.“
