“I was at Grottoes subway at 7:00 pm Friday night on October 4th. The young girl that waited on me was excellent. My complaint is the other employee on duty went home. Leaving only one young girl there. She was trying to do online orders and walk ins. She was handling the job, but should not have been expected to work alone on a Friday night. Not safe..”

“I’m suggesting that you not listen too much to all the bad reviews. We just stopped in for a quick bite and our food was delicious. We had the bourbon chicken and hot and spicy shrimp - both came out piping hot and portions were more than we could eat.”

“My favorite ice cream ever! The peppermint bark in the december and July is one of the most amazing desserts I ever had honestly but I generally get the salted caramel chocolate chunk cuz peppermint bark is not there as often but its almost equally as amazing, there sorbets are really good to😋”

“We just ate dinner here and we were all so impressed. Every single thing was delicious - from the fresh salads and dressing, the fresh garlic bread, the soups to our entrees. We all had something different and it was all amazing. Everything tasted homemade. Service was excellent and fast. This was hands down our favorite place that we dined at in the area. I really wish we had something this good where I live! Save yourself a trip to Olive Garden and eat here instead! You won’t regret it!”

“Thoroughly enjoyed the Alpine Goat Brewery's inaugural Oktobest event held on 14 September. The wide variety of flavorful brews, authentic German Oompah music, welcoming staff, ample and free parking, and gregarious patrons combined for a delightful experience. The venue is absolutely family friendly offering games and activities for children. The food trucks offered a variety of items including ice cream and shakes. I definitely will return!”

“Highly recommend this brewery! They have very friendly and welcoming staff! The history of the farm is fascinating. They are family friendly, indoor and outdoor seating with many games, swings and things to explore. The food was delicious and the beer was crisp and refreshing. Couldn’t leave without getting some crowlers to go! Even had a slice of home with their Maine root beverages for the kids.”

“You can build your own pizza or choose one from their menu. The menu selections are interesting! We each tried a different one (Buffalo chicken and hot honey pepperoni) - both were delicious! Would definitely eat here again. Very casual atmosphere but yummy food.”

As a movie nerd I was a huge fan of the pictures on the wall (most autographed) and the story of the owner going to sci-fi conventions to collect them. Great place that we preferred to the other ice cream place down the road. I highly suggest you stop in to this place (hint there is a brewery next store for mom and dad as well).”
