“This is yet another winner in Loudoun County. It's so great to have so many options for wineries in Loudoun - no matter what section of the county you're driving around in, you will likely be very close to a great winery. This location is not far from Casanel and Willowcroft Wineries, two other favorites of mine. They offer a white flight or a red flight, and you can also mix and match in the flight. I had the white - the weather was perfect for it. Vidal Blanc and Petit Manseng were not as sweet as others I have tried in these varietals and the white flight included their rosé, done exactly how I like it (DRY). They also still do counter tastings, which is a big plus these days.

There are three creeks that wind through this property. You cross over one to enter their location, and the other two are in the picnic area. A nice selection of picnic tables and spots on the back patio to choose from. Some of the picnic tables are next to the creeks. And this is a "21 and over only" spot - sometimes you want to be, and need to be, away from kids. There are plenty of family friendly options in the county (and state). So it's great to have a few adults only locations now.

“My first time here, but this is the best place I’ve eaten in a very, very long time. My family of 4 Adults and four little children all had a great Dinner here. The service was fantastic even though they were down to one Chef, one waitress and one bartender. If this were American Idol, I’d hit the Golden Buzzer. By the way, aside from the great Dinners, the Fiery Mussels were to die for. Best I’ve ever had and I’ve had plenty of them.….. to include famous Berthas at Fels Point, in Baltimore.”

“Delicious food! We got two different wraps with the mixed meat. Full of flavor. And OMG the fries were perfect! We both tried the strawberry basil cocktail. Great balance of sweetness and very refreshing. The service was great and we enjoyed talking to the employees. Great atmosphere. We sat on the patio. And the decor is fun with the records and Virginia artists and famous people all around.”

“Omg! What a treasure this place is if you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine. I picked up a whole Tiramisu imported from Milan (frozen) to share with my BOOKCLUB ladies after reading Tartufo. It was not cheep, but oh So worth it!! I’ll be back. The owners are very helpful and sincerely charming. I felt like I was in the old country :)”

“I was there last. night (Thursday) and the Octopus was delightful as was my 'ordinary' salmon plate with their delicious veggies....The home sparking pink wine served in an unusual goblet was ample and perfect (a substitute for the more expensive Brut when they didn't have theirs cooled._ The alternative was just as good. I'm no connoisseur but I know a good meal when I'm finished. Food ample and the less expensive dishes looked just as appetizing as the more expensive ones. I want to try almost everything once....”

“I have heard how delicious the Pub food is so I decided to stop by for some takeout. Upon my arrival, I was greeted immediately & placed my order. The food did not disappoint! I ordered a reuben sandwich with fries which arrived within 15 minutes. It was delicious! While I was waiting for my food, I noticed a good sized area for outdoor dining as well as indoor seating. A group of 4 came in behind me & was seated immediately - I overheard their immediate comment that the music was too loud. I could see that having a quiet conversation might be difficult especially as the place gets busier. If you're looking for delicious food & friendly service, I would definitely recommend!”

My wife and I finally made it to MELT in Leesburg after hearing great things, and let me just say… shame on us for waiting so long. Debbie, the owner (and now part-time head-bopper), greeted us like we were long-lost cousins showing up late to the family BBQ. When I told her it was our first visit, she gave me a playful bop on the head with our table number and asked, “What took you so long?” Touché, Debbie. Touché. Now onto the burgers… and yes, they deserve their own paragraph. I ordered the A Jazzed Up Swiss Burger — and let me tell you, this was no run-of-the-mill meat puck. We're talking Gruyère so rich it probably pays taxes in Switzerland, Black Forest ham that must’ve taken a first-class flight in, baby bella mushrooms sautéed to perfection, and a tangy smear of whole-grain mustard tying it all together. Every bite said, “Sir, this is not fast food — this is fine dining between buns.” My wife had the Paris Burger — imagine garlic-kissed beef topped with brie so creamy it probably auditioned for a romance film, with balsamic onions adding the drama. Let’s just say she stopped talking mid-bite. That’s how you know it’s good. The vibe? Casual but classy, with staff who treat you like family (the good side of the family, not the ones who borrow your tools and never bring them back). And yes… in a moment of grilled beef-fueled euphoria, I may have proclaimed myself the Burger King. Debbie gave me a look. I instantly realized my mistake. This isn’t that kind of burger joint. This is a burger experience. Saying "Burger King" here is like bringing boxed wine to a French vineyard. Long story short — go to MELT. Go now. Go often. And when Debbie bops you on the head, just smile… because that means you're officially part of the MELT kingdom. 👑🍔”
