Absolutely the best Mexican food in all of Richmond VA!!!
My husband and I go just about weekly. We went there right after we got married. When family is in town El Zocalo is the first place they wanna eat. The owner and staff are always super kind and on top of all of your dining needs. The food is the best around. The flavor is unbeatable and you always have some to take home due to their portion sizes. When weather permits it's nice to sit out on the patio to dine.
This is the best Mexican in Richmond. You have to make the trip to Hanover

While the inside needs some upgrades, the restaurant offers a friendly atmosphere and delicious dishes that keep many coming back.
