“Stopped by to get a sandwich today while I was out banking. It’s about 14 miles from my home but we’ll worth the drive. This Subway is amazing!!! As a Food Service Professional I was impressed that their meat and veggie bars looked amazing. The meats and cheeses looked like real meats. You eat with your eyes first, and what a feast it was. Staff was friendly and engaging! The shop closer to me is not appetizing at all. The meats I’m sure are the same but always looks old and chopped and the staff is far less friendly! In times like this that does make a difference. Perhaps they need to visit and see the difference for themselves!“

“We were greeted the minute we walked into the restaurant. The whole staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous. We ordered 2 big sandwiches and they were made exactly as we wanted. Sooo good! We were happy to help them with the Day of Giving, and we will return.“

“We had lunch there today. My son and I took our first bite and both exclaimed , WOW at the same time. Their bread was fluffy and warm, everything tasted so fresh!This is the best subway I have ever had! If I lived on this side of the water,I would only go to this subway. Good job!!! “I've shared a review on the subway once before and I am going to share another one because this time a different employee was working her name is Maddie she was outstanding. Before I place my online order I called to make sure they had meatballs because I know sometimes places will run out of things she let me know that they had plenty of meatballs and she was very prompt and very kind. When I arrived I believe she was the only person working and was taking care of multiple customers and was still very polite. When I ordered it I requested to have some vegetables on the side as I was going to be eating the sub later on in the night for a job I had to do at night time. She put my vegetables in a nicely neatly that's container for me which was fantastic I really appreciate that and the sub was made absolutely great. I eat at other subways sometimes on the peninsula area and when you order the meatball sub it's never like this one was it's made perfectly... toasted perfectly no slacking on the cheese or meatballs and not only that but you can see in the photo the sub which is a hot sub was wrapped in tin foil I've never got that anywhere but this Yorktown location. Absolutely phenomenal service she is fantastic!!! Perfection. Thank you Miss Maddie.Kid-friendliness: Before I ordered online I called to make sure that they had meatballs because I know sometimes places will run out of things the young lady who answered Maddie was very polite and very prompt.Parking: Right up front. “This place was cute, had to make a U-turn to get here, but I'm glad we did. Place was not busy, and the ingredients were stacked full mostly. Bread was a bit soft, but I think that might just be how their bread is nowadays. The girl who made our sandwiches was quite nice and asked questions for our sandwich preferences, even if we wanted any cookies. Sandwich was amazing, I was starved. Not too much mayo or mustard, and she loaded on the veggies for me. I also got their sweet tea, and I gotta say, I am so happy the east does sweet tea right. I'll go to a gas station in Phoenix and it'll either be unsweetened in the sweet compartment, or very lightly sweetened. But, anyways, the only downside to this place was their chip selection, not very extensive. I had chips in the car anyways, so I wasn't fussed.“

“This is one of the best subways there is. One of the ladies that works there can seem to be a bit impatient, but she remains friendly with the customer, but she will jump on the staff with her. The owner, is one of the friendliest people I have ever met.“

“Every time I've had a sub from this establishment, it has been made well. I had a multi-sub order I made for my family and they labeled every sub so it was easy to tell which sub belonged to who without the guesswork (huge kudos for this). The sub I had today was in a paper sleeve instead of plastic, which I prefer as it reminds me of what the local sub shops use and is recyclable/compostable. Look forward to continuing to order my lunch sub from here!“

“My experience was awesome this the 2nd time in 2 weeks that Rita had prepared my family Philly cheese steaks to perfection. The 1st time she cooked em and they were out of mushrooms, and I gotta have mushrooms. However she cooked it so good I couldn’t even tell they didn’t have any. So every time I get a chance I drive from Smithfield, Va to see Rita for the best cheesesteaks in the world.“

“I use a cupon 13 dollars 2 foot long the sandwiches where good. The employee (owner) was so nice an attentive. The place it absolutely clean ans big nice place to eat the veggies where on spot meets and cheese. They had a variety of cookies ,soups amd chips so I will defenetly go back for a snack. The stablishment also have a navy Federal on post and a barbershop. Visit the page fot hours of operation this is on a military base so you'll need to have a dependant or active duty ID.“
