“I have never been here before today. As soon as I walked in my nostrils were smacked with the delicious smell of BBQ! The girl working the counter has the most pleasant smile of anyone I have seen in many years. I had ordered, online, a pound of brisket with the crossroads sauce and 2 deep dish pizzas (the pizza's were the main reason I ordered from here as I have been looking for years for a place in Richmond that has Chicago deep dish pizza), and an order of the baked beans. The pizza's are frozen and I can't wait to try them. The brisket is unbelievably good and while I usually don't care for vinegar based BBQ sauces, the crossroads is mouth wateringly great! This place is a 30 minute drive for me to get to, but I'll gladly be back for more.“

“Just came from an amazing lunch with my 3 kids..... The food was outstanding, the service was great and the atmosphere was very easy going with great blues music! “Happened to be in Mechanicsville yesterday with my wife and searched for places to eat. We found this little gem, and what a surprise. The food (pulled pork, brisket, ribs, corn bread, cowboy beans, and potato salad) was delicious. Yes, we tried them all. The staff was great and the atmosphere was very comfortable. It’s a small place that’s big on great food.“

“WOW WOW WOW. I have stumbled upon the BEST barbecue I have ever had. I enjoyed the ribs, pulled pork, Christmas beans, and smash & cheese (5 cheese) macaroni and cheese. Princess enjoyed the brisket. The meats were smoked to perfection. The sides were out of this world. The relish and sauces were superb. For my birthday they gave me a cupcake and hot off the smoker pork belly. The atmosphere was casual and relaxing. Soul music was playing as me enjoyed my birthday lunch. The staff was outstanding ... so friendly. I felt like I was eating with family. This is now my go to place for barbecue. Give it a try ... you will not be disappointed.“

“Had Nachos there this evening. Really generous portion size (probably better for 2 people). The brisket (which they smoke in house) was very smokey & tasty, they don't skimp on the brisket either. I enjoyed the mole & the really fresh cilantro & greens on top. Friendly waitstaff, and the Bear is cool. :) Highly recommend.“

“Best brisket and ribs I have had since moving to Richmond. Tender and juicy, and I even enjoyed the sauce. And I like that you can taste the smoke, not just smell it (it's a Chicago thing). I loved the Texas caviar. And the cornbread...OMG.❤ My go-to for BBQ here now, and it's less than 5 minutes from my house. Definitely recommend.“

“Listen, my people. I was born and raised in The Bronx. Having said that, I had the best Hush Puppy, I mean THE BEST, since my mama's. Now I can tell you the fish was delicious and my slaw was perfect. But that slice of fresh strawberry cake.....
Heaven.

“I really like this place and think it has so much potential. But I have to say the inconsistency in the food is starting to show, and it really comes down to who’s cooking on any given day. Sometimes the fried rice is perfect, and other times it’s mushy. Sometimes the chicken is perfectly seasoned, other times it’s really bland. When it’s good, it’s truly amazing and it’s one of the best hibachi to-go spots in Richmond. But these last couple of times, it’s been a letdown.
I’m leaving this review because I really want to see the place succeed and step it up a notch with more consistent training for the cooks. It’s got the potential to be a standout spot if the quality becomes more reliable. Right now, if they keep pushing out inconsistent dishes, they risk just blending into the background like any other place. I’m rooting for them to get it right!“

“What a great place to go eat. The small Diner setup with the booth and old school tables and chairs are great. The Retro pictures on the walls are fun to look at. The tv in the corner playing football was a plus. Everyone is very nice and genuine when you go into order or call in.“

“This Mom & Pop spot opened recently in Prince George, VA. Close to Ft. Lee, it's a great option to all of the fast food places. Meaty ribs, great pulled pork and they don't hold back putting the meat on the sandwiches! I have not had anything that I wouldn't order again. You DEFINITELY need to check them out!“

“Longhorn is my favorite steakhouse Periodt! I really enjoy the service every time I visit. My preferred order is the Outlaw Ribeye steak cooked medium rare, with loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli. The only reason I’m giving this review a 4 star is because my steak had a lot more fat than I expected. I will most definitely revisit and highly recommend“
