I placed a large order just 30 minutes before closing—four chicken sandwiches, a 20-piece chicken tender meal, and their amazing honey biscuits—and everything was fresh, hot, and made to order. “Lees is definitely enough to put the all three much popular chains like Popeyes,KFC and Church's to deep shame.Bojangles well that's definitely stiff competition because they're no joke either lol but there's something more authentic and more homely about Lee's.Their chicken taste like the fried chicken your mom makes in a batch and then bring it to church for lunch after service.Their chicken taste taste is fully seasoned,crispy and juicy,biscuits taste like they're from scratch.Nothing ashy and hard enough for me to play frisbee with.The service from the workers are so professional and cheery and love the cleanliness of the place.The mac and cheese in my opinion need a little more work,it kind of taste like box macaroni,they need to change up the recipe but other than that Lee's is always my go to place whenever i'm down in Richmond Va.“

“After watching the owners life story on the famous show Shark Tank, I decided to speed up my first visit to one of his restaurants .My God kids and I went to celebrate one of their birthdays. The atmosphere was vibrant. The kids enjoyed themselves. The fries were good, but the chicken fingers were off the chain excellent! I don’t eat at Chick-fil-A often, but my grandson loves it—every time I take him out, he asks for Chick-fil-A and always wants their special sauce with his meal. That’s what brings me in.

There are a few things I really enjoy: the waffle fries, kale salad, and the consistently excellent customer service. Every location I’ve visited has friendly, respectful staff, and that’s something I truly appreciate. However, I personally find the chicken to be a bit too salty for my taste, so I tend to stick with a few sides I know I like.

My biggest concern is the cost. On our most recent visit, I ordered two meals and the total came to over $32. I understand prices have gone up everywhere, but for a fast food chain, that’s a lot—especially when you’re just a grandmother trying to treat her grandchild to something simple. Spending time together shouldn’t break the budget.

Overall, Chick-fil-A is a well-run, clean, and family-friendly place—but I do wish the prices reflected that same spirit of accessibility and care.“

“This is a fast-food restaurant, but it is also one of the best managed establishments in the city. I include several franchised casual & fine dining restaurants in that mix. It’s that good.

“I am a DoorDash driver, and I’ve been to this location frequently. Every single time, it is spotless, everyone is so kind, and they are quick to bring out the food. When I was there today, there was an ENTIRE group of people with one singular order (I’d say around 35 people? All on one ticket.) and I had 2 DoorDash orders. Let me tell you, I have never seen ANY restaurant, regardless of if it was fast food or not, bring out such quality food in such a timely fashion. Not to mention they were so patient with the entire group, and me! They were so nice, and such troopers. Good job today, guys!!“

“Went here for dinner on 11/11/24. The first thing I noticed was the gigantic sign. I think it was the biggest sign on that road. It did not take me long to order, and staff was nice. I ordered classic roast beef combo with curly fried and Dr. Pepper for the drink. The roast beef was packed with meat, it was fresh, bun was soft, and curly fries were hot. I would highly recommend this location. I will definitely go back here when I back in the area to photograph bald eagles.“

“This may be the only establishment that offers live foliage, Paired with your choice of meats. That's right you heard me correct , tree bark and brisket bark , branches with ur ranches...the only food establishment this side of the James with a singular live tree inside for you viewing pleasure...being the family pull up folding chair, snag a beef 'n cheddar , and realize it just don't get no better!...seriously tho the place is emaculat. ..no sticky weird spots on the floor anywhere at all....no crumbs..nothing...looks like they just detailed it Everytime I go in..it gets cleaner than the last time ...curly fries“

“Every time I would come to town I had to have Golden Skillet! It appears to be under new management who has the restaurant looking amazing! Very clean in there but man the food quality isn’t the same. The food was very hot and fresh which was a great thing! But the taste of the mac n cheese and baked beans were awful. I would consider revamping the recipe or removing those sides altogether. The macaroni salad was good. I always get the chicken but I may try the fish next time“

“I had the country wrap at Kenn-Tico Wraps and it was absolutely delicious. The wrap was filled with tender slices of turkey breast, country ham, and chicken salad. All topped with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and mayo. But the best part was their new habanero and ghost pepper hot sauce that I added to the wrap. It was so tasty and spicy, it got me sweating. It was the perfect balance of flavor and heat. If you love spicy food, you have to try this hot sauce. Kenn-Tico Wraps is my favorite food cart in Richmond. “Nice place. The inside was very clean, bathrooms were clean, and the staff was very friendly. The condiment station was stocked and the food was good. My only complaint is the temp. It was an average 85 degree day outside and dam it was cold inside. It was so cold the girl taking our order was wearing a fleece.

Parking: Plenty of marked spots. Easy to get in and out of.

Kid-friendliness: Kid food options. Chicken tenders were some of the best of the fast food chains.

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of wheelchair tables and bathrooms were set up for handicapped access.“

“We had never been here before, but we gave it a whirl. The dining area was very clean. The service was very nice. Logan was our server, and was polite and smiled. We asked about their food and he took time to help us with it. The manager also was very nice when we asked go talk to him. To his surprise, we took time to tell him we enjoyed the place. He made sure we got our employee’s name so we could mention in the review. We did not buy the shakes, but if I could have eaten and drank that much, I would have. The price was also very good.“

“On yesterday my order was incomplete, sometimes I always tell myself to check my order before leaving but I didn't as always, also a vehicle was behind me in the drive thru. I went back today with my receipt, I didn't get the woman's name but she was so kind and understanding, I think she was the shift leader. She politely completed my missing order and gave me another sandwich, I guess because of the inconvenience. She is definitely an asset to the Arby's on Brook Rd.“

“My family was passing through the area, and we stopped here for dinner. I saw several other reviews talking about the place being dirty and disorganized, but that wasn't our experience. Maybe I'm just used to some pretty dirty fast food restaurants, but this Taco Bell is definitely one of the better ones I've been to. The bathrooms were updated and clean. The dining room was clean.
