“This was our first time and the “bearded guy” was so helpful. We each got a taco and told him to make them however he likes them. He asked if we were allergic to anything and then delivered 2 incredible tacos. All of the flavors and textures were so well balanced. We will definitely be back!“

The volunteer who took our order was super friendly and you could feel the passion as they spoke about the business and how their mission is to help the less fortunate. Stopped by last night and had a great experience. This is a family-run halal spot and you can really feel the hospitality when you walk in. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the service was great. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly.

If you’re looking for a solid halal chicken and burger spot with great customer service, this place is definitely worth checking out. I’ll definitely be coming back.“

“This was my first experience with this type of food, and it was good! Very filling, the single protein platter was more than I could eat in one sitting, and I'm a rather large eater. I would go back. However, I would say The Halal Guys are comparable to the Little Ceasars or Domino's of their place in the industry. If you want to play it safe with a commercialized version of Halal food, then this is it. Please don't take that as a negative, Little Ceasars has its place in the market & it's time for when necessary, and so does The Halal Guys.“

“I ordered DoorDash had the Combination of Quabili Palau and Chalau, served with meat sauce and one skewer each of shami, chicken, and lamb kabob, and it was outstanding.

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The Quabili Palau was rich and aromatic, the Chalau was delicious, and the meat sauce tied everything together beautifully. The kabobs were all excellent—the shami was tender and well-seasoned, the chicken was juicy, and the lamb was flavorful and perfectly grilled.

The portion size was generous, and the quality of the food was exceptional. The staff was friendly, and the overall experience was great. If you’re looking for authentic Afghan cuisine, I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“I don’t know where to start. The food is always great, but All the credit goes to Julio this time. He is such a kind and helpful individual. I have not met a person who enjoys doing their job as much as he does. There are multiple halal guys locations but none of the workers have such a positive attitude as Julio. “Ordered catering for a 6:30 pm pickup but when I arrived I realized that I had ordered for the following day! The staff assured me tat they'd try to help, then called their manager and got approval to make my order as soon as possible. 25 minutes later, I walked out with enough delicious food for 20 people. That's incredible customer service despite the mistake being fully my own!“

“I’ve been coming here since 1999, and I must say, this place serves the best Kabob I’ve ever eaten. The food is delicious, and the sauces truly elevate the dish. The service is phenomenal, and they cook the food fresh on the spot. If you’re in the mood for a great Kabob meal and find yourself at Springfield Mall, you must try this place. I highly recommend the chicken—it’s amazing.“

“A genuine Pakistani cuisine, the food was fresh and appealing. However the place was super crowded and gave a look of any charity free dinner place. Customers pay for food and environment. Environment was terribly bad, as restaurant tries to host more than their capacity. Private family or friends seating was not available. You have to sit with general public, the long tables were arranged for everyone to sit with others. Prayers after iftar were hosted outside restaurant when temperatures were in negative. The prayers should have been inside the restaurant walls. A bad display for non believers, earning in one sitting was more important and rest everything was set a side. Bad!!@“

The chicken kabob boneless platter is tender and full of flavor. Our favorite kabob was the chicken with green chili skewer. The rice pudding was so on point we ordered an extra side to go.“

“I ordered Mezeh for the first time on DoorDash. It was all tasty, OMG your pita chips are AMAZING. I enjoyed my chicken bowl quite a bit especially the crunchy chickpeas It was all great. The falafel was also excellent, I was unsure when I ripped one in half because of the color, it’s quite green, but it was so delicious. I’m assuming that’s just all the fresh herbs which I appreciate. The hummus was also excellent So glad I have tahini at home because that’s about the only thing I thought anything was missing I would definitely order from here again and I Certainly would recommend it“

“I had the Lamb Curry at Shahi Kabob in Woodbridge, and it was absolutely outstanding! The lamb was incredibly tender, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The curry had a rich, authentic flavor with just the right balance of spices that made every bite delicious. Paired with their fresh naan, it was one of the best Pakistani meals I’ve had in the area. The staff was friendly, the service was excellent, and the overall dining experience was fantastic. Highly recommend the Lamb Curry—I will definitely be back!“
