Paisanos is definitely my favourite pizza in town, the employees are just an extra plus.“

“A friend and I meet at Theisman's restaurant for lunch quite often. I live in Alexandria and she lives in Warrenton so it's a great middle point. We both love the food and the hostesses and waitstaff are excellent. The atmosphere is nice.. the reason I gave it 4 stars is that the music in there was so loud. We decided to sit on the porch thinking it would be quieter and it was such a beautiful day... unfortunately the music was extremely loud out there too and seemed to increase in volume as we were out there for about 2 hours. I noticed a few other people were saying that it was so loud too. We should have said something to the hostess but we had not seen each other in awhile. Wonderful place, but people do want to be able to talk and hear each other. Hopefully, this will get to the right ears ?“

“Decided to try mae ornnit with my sister based on the strong reviews they have. Our server provided excellent, attentive service from start to finish. Mixed reviews on the food: Papaya salad was a downer. Lacks that nice flavor with fish sauce and papaya slices were sliced a bit too thick. Tom kha gai and chicken wonton soups were a winner. Lovely coconut milk flavor for tom kha soup. Fried tofu was pretty decent. The sweet and sour sauce for crispy flounder rocked, but I was expecting a slightly fresher flounder than what we had. Overall a pretty nice experience and we may return if we pass by the area again.“

“I had the black noodles, galbi and the spicy beef stew, and these dishes were outstanding. The galbi was perfectly marinated—sweet, savory, and grilled to tender perfection with just the right amount of char. Every bite was juicy and full of flavor.

The spicy beef stew (yukgaejang) was equally impressive. Rich, hearty, and packed with shredded beef, vegetables, and just the right level of heat. It had that deep, comforting flavor that warms you from the inside out. The broth was addictive, and the portion was generous.

“The food is outstanding! All made fresh and so delicious. Family owned and very friendly. The calamari was perfectly cooked and had a beautiful dusting as opposed to a heavily breaded crust. The grilled octopus was tender and flavorful. We’ve sat both outside in the relaxing courtyard and inside the casual restaurant. This restaurant beats the food at Old Town’s Greek restaurants. “This is my GO-TO Indian Restaurant from now on. I absolutely love butter chicken, and after ordering from a horrible place last night I decided to call before I ordered from a new place (I really wanted butter chicken this weekend) the person who answered the phone was super nice and understanding, and kept her promise. I can not eat really spicy food, and when I asked for mild she said she would make it happen. I just tasted the sauce and it is Devine. So good, and with the slightest hint of spice (which I love). The consistent quality and attention to detail is what makes this place great.
