“We found this little gem in an out of the way place after getting off of 95 to look for a quick bite on our way to Soutb Carolina. It was not fast food but it was a small place with unusual fare and a bar should you want a cocktail. The Tallarin Saltado Criollo was basically like an Asian stir fry but only better. What an amazing dish, this was our favorite. Highly recommend!“

“I love it because I walked all the way from the Franconia Springfield Metro Station. When I got there, my team FC Barcelona playing against PSG at the 70th. Minute tied 2-2. In the end, Barca scored and won the game 3-2. Love the food and I ate it using my hands. It’s the only way. I ate the rice with fork of course.“

“I was happy to go out of my way to purchase again a full chicken from Wild Chicken in Fairfax City Virginia. The first time I enjoyed there flame cooked rotisserie chicken was very memorable. I found the flavor is very unique a special recipe, worthy of returning to. Its not at all like a fast food rotisserie chicken place, its unique, so I expect to pay a bit more for the quality. I know I'm supporting local business and the staff that produces the wonderful food. Cheap and inexpensive rotisserie chicken can be found anywhere. “I've frequented this location several times, and the food has always been delicious. However, on my recent visit, despite specifying "no tomatoes and light onions" for my pollo saltado, the dish arrived with tomatoes and an abundance of onions. This deviation from my order was disappointing, considering they usually get it right. Nevertheless, the flavors were still on point, showcasing the authentic taste of Peruvian cuisine. Hopefully, they can improve their attention to custom orders for a more consistent dining experience.“

“Has their fish ceviche and it was amazing. Also had their grilled fish. No pics unfortunately but it was ok. The menu says grilled but it was actually fried. Plus, I don’t like tilapia and that’s the type of fish it was which was disappointing. But my ceviche was the star of the show! Definitely amazing. Added the onions and the hot sauce and I was in love!“

“I had the joy of trying this business for the 2nd time. Obviously, the first time I ate a Chicken and the 2nd Time I wanted to try the Chicken Soup. It was great! Had enough Chicken and Vegetables to suffice my hunger! You can always get rice on the side in case it isn't enough. This Soup is great for either sick days or hangovers! Will be back soon!“

“This is the best restaurant ever!!!! Work had me in a hotel directly next-door to Cocorico’s and I ate there almost every day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all amazing. The staff is super friendly and pointed in the right direction of several great choices to order. If you have never ate here, I highly recommend you choose too! Nothing bad on the menu! Enjoy!!!“

“Super yummy rotisserie chicken place. My fries were crispy and very hot, the chicken was seasoned nicely and was moist with crispy skin, and the plantains were excellent! Very good service, staff were great in helpful me find something safe to eat with my severe shellfish allergy. They do serve shrimp here but they do not fry it, so you can still eat the fries and plantains because they're not fried with shrimp. $1 extra to add plantains to meal, so half chicken with two sides (fries and plantains) was $17, which is pretty standard. Clean dining room, plenty of seating, plenty of parking when I visited. You can probably order in English, but they couldn't really understand detailed food allergy questions in English so I switched to Spanish. That's probably not a problem for a regular order though.“

“We came to Lima Coffee Shop for an early lunch, and we're glad that we stopped by! This cute little Peruvian cafe is cozy and offers some good eats. We ordered: +a blanca Mocha - this was prepared very well; strong, creamy, and tasty! +a beef empanada - the exterior was a bit too thick, and I wasn't a fan of the filling flavors +a chicken empanada - the exterior was a bit too thick, and I wasn't a fan of the filling flavors +a Pollo sandwich - kind of like a chicken salad sandwich with mayo on a French bread; bread could have been less crusty and more fresh; the chicken salad itself was seasoned well and tasty; comes with shoestring potato sticks (I thought it came with fries); don't forget to request extra of the spicy sauce! +a Lomo Saltado - very generous in portions, this was prepared well and had great flavor; don't forget to request more of that spicy sauce! The spicy sauce, which seems like a spicier version of the aji, was amazing and a great complement to the food. Service was very friendly and kind. You order first at the cashier, and then just choose any of the tables. There also seems to be patrons coming in for to-go orders. “We got takeout for dinner from this place and we were hesitant since we didn’t know anything about it. OMG, you have to try this food. It was amazingly good. The chicken was juicy and smoky… just perfect. My 9 yr old ended up almost eating the whole chicken by himself and he’s a picky eater. Highly recommend. The ceviche was spicy and on point. We will be coming back for more.“

“Update to my previous review. This is now definitely the best Peruvian chicken you will find in the Woodbridge area. They hit a little bump on the road after they reopened in mid-2019, but they are back to consistently juicy and their chicken tasting as closed as you can get to actual Peruvian chicken with that peculiar Peruvian chicken seasoning.“

“(I ordered DoorDash) I ordered the 1/2 Chicken Meal, with onion rings, fries, a side of cheese fries, and jalapeno poppers.The food was packaged wonderfully, and was nice and hot on arrival.Inside of the jalapeno poppers container, there were five chicken wing sized jalapeno poppers. This would be my first time trying jalapeno poppers. It was a generous portion of half a jalapeno and significant filling, to compliment. They honestly weren't too hot and I rather enjoyed them.Inside of the container for the rotisserie chicken, fries and onion rings, there were a few pieces of chicken and six onion rings.The chicken had a beautiful herb-like taste to it. The chicken skin was soft and easily torn apart. The chicken meat was tender and able to be pulled away easily, while at the same time remaining juicy and flavorful. The pieces included in the half chicken were the leg, thigh, breast, and wing.The onion rings were a lovely beer-battered type, with light fluffy crunchy breading and a nice tender onion inside. This is my favorite way to get them. These are not the cheap style crunchy-crisp ones with a hard exterior shell.Inside of the container for the cheese fries there was a generous portion of cheese and fries with the cheese being evenly spread across the top of all the fries. The cheese fries were lovely. The fries were cooked just right and the cheese had just a slight hint of a spiced kicked to it, while remaining in the background on the edges of your tongue, not a full-frontal heated assault.On the downside, The meal didn't come with any napkins or utensils. Though with this kind of meal you shouldn't necessarily need it - but it would have been nice to see that it was included, as an option...Overall, the meal was enjoyable and I would highly recommend it to anybody looking for a new rotisserie chicken place. “Last Sunday, Rolando and Rosario our dear friends introduced us to this charming restaurant for dining and entertainment. The 6 men band were playing in the party room the most fantastic Latinos and other music on stage, it was a full concert. The owner was very sweet to greet us and the waitress were so attentive, our food were so tasty. This made our Sunday special, we were so delighted that we found this secret oasis so close to our home. We are looking forward to go back every Sunday bringing more friends with us.“

“The best charcoal chicken in the area, the chicken with steak is really delicious, as are the fries and yucca. They have a wide variety of soft drinks (Sangria my favorite) and aguas frescas. The place is very busy but the staff who work there are friendly and efficient. You can also order and pay over the phone.“
