“The Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Lorton offers such a wonderful and positive experience. The staff, especially Evelyn, Tesla, and Sheila are friendly and efficient. They all put forth “ over the top effort” to make your food exactly the way you like it. I love the way they make my Mocha Madness. It is so creamy, flavorful and thick. When I go away for a few weeks, I immediately make my way back to this TSC the day after I get back. I so enjoy purchasing the freshly made Chicken Thai Salad. I can’t say enough good things about the staff, their efficiency, friendliness and knowledge. The cafe is kept clean. I have watched them keep the entire area clean where they are preparing our food, and cleaning the equipment. I have gone in early and seen them preparing for the day. It is quite a united effort. Again, the cafe is clean and has a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend everyone visit this Tropical Smoothie location in Lorton if you are nearby or even if you are not. Make your way there. I have passed other TSC locations just to come here.“

We also loved that individuals could order via QR code to their own tab which allowed a much easier tab settlement than 60 people figuring out the bill! Drinks and food were served lightening fast. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is serene with great music. The music volume is perfect too so you can still socialize without having to shout. My favorite amenities though, are the self-pour feature, the diversity of beer flavors, and the ease of paying. The taps are really easy to use and to keep track of how much your bar tab is accumulating. On top of that, you don't have to wait at all for a refill- just head on up to the tap and pour, amazing system! The Irish Red beer was my go-to, and it was very pleasing to see that on tap when it's not actually Oktoberfest season, (I can never seem to find it most times of the year). “Stopped on a whim. I was walking by, hungry and reviews looked good. So glad I tried it. I ordered the miso ramen to-go. The broth was separate in the take away container which meant everything didn’t get soggy while I walked a mile back. Miso was really good. I wasn’t a fan of the noodles. I prefer them a little thinner. Despite that, the miso ramen was really good. The meat was cooked perfectly. Miso was tasty. I would definitely eat here again.“

“We will definitely return! Totally were pleased to see a great outdoor area close to kayaking. Service couldn't be better. Delivery was unexpectedly quick! The popcorn shrimp was ample and so well seasoned. The hot pretzel came out overcooked and too hard, but they were so accommodating with a replacement, and didn't ask for it, but they refunded us for the inconvenience. Totally unnecessary, but the thoughtfulness and friendliness caught our attention and is a large reason we'll continue to patronize them. Also, I could definitely bring home a large dish of the cucumber salad -- so refreshing and tasty! Hope there's a fall/winter plan to keep it open. We noticed there were individual fire pits/tables. ☆☆☆☆☆“

The presentation of the pot stickers as a giant fried pancake you must turn over or crack apart like a savory Crème brûlée to access the dumpling goodness underneath was fun, if a bit greasy. The beer selection is outrageously good. Highly recommend. And get some beer to go! Clothing and glassware merch in supply, but no stickers.“
