The meat was so tender I honestly could’ve used a PLASTIC spoon to pull it off the bone. The flavor was unmatched, every bite tasted like pure craftsmanship and passion. I actually flew in and took and uber just to experience this food, and it was absolutely worth the trip. 10/10, highly recommend Atlantic Barbecue to anyone who loves authentic, melt-in-your-mouth BBQ. “The Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Lorton offers such a wonderful and positive experience. The staff, especially Evelyn, Tesla, and Sheila are friendly and efficient. They all put forth “ over the top effort” to make your food exactly the way you like it. I love the way they make my Mocha Madness. It is so creamy, flavorful and thick. When I go away for a few weeks, I immediately make my way back to this TSC the day after I get back. I so enjoy purchasing the freshly made Chicken Thai Salad. I can’t say enough good things about the staff, their efficiency, friendliness and knowledge. The cafe is kept clean. I have watched them keep the entire area clean where they are preparing our food, and cleaning the equipment. I have gone in early and seen them preparing for the day. It is quite a united effort. Again, the cafe is clean and has a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend everyone visit this Tropical Smoothie location in Lorton if you are nearby or even if you are not. Make your way there. I have passed other TSC locations just to come here.“

It makes me think those preparing the menu may be arrogant to believe that price means nothing to patrons. Price matters. Are foods and drinks priced too high to be transparent? Are all patrons so well off that price to them really does not matter? I will sometimes pass over a place if they hide their prices, just because there are so many others that do not hide them. The atmosphere just by itself deserves a reluctant visit.“

“I had the black noodles, galbi and the spicy beef stew, and these dishes were outstanding. The galbi was perfectly marinated—sweet, savory, and grilled to tender perfection with just the right amount of char. Every bite was juicy and full of flavor.

The spicy beef stew (yukgaejang) was equally impressive. Rich, hearty, and packed with shredded beef, vegetables, and just the right level of heat. It had that deep, comforting flavor that warms you from the inside out. The broth was addictive, and the portion was generous.

“The best little bakery you could ask for and it’s right in my neighborhood. This could be a problem. Maybe if I walk there I can burn enough calories to justify a daily cinnamon roll. And time my arrival as Max is pulling them out of the oven. Because they are sooo good. Also try the baguettes, croissants, and various pastries that seem to randomly roll out throughout the morning. Note: if you want a fat Cinnabon, go to the mall. These are cinnamon rolls with a moist, barely baked center. Apparently not everyone is a fan of the sweet gooey center. I’ve never been to a business with consistently fantastic product across the board. I have no complaints or constructive comments. Price is on the higher end for “fast-food” but well worth it for the result, service and food. I take all of my friends here and rave about it to whoever will listen. I highly recommended their spicy garlic noodles!“

My favorite amenities though, are the self-pour feature, the diversity of beer flavors, and the ease of paying. The taps are really easy to use and to keep track of how much your bar tab is accumulating. On top of that, you don't have to wait at all for a refill- just head on up to the tap and pour, amazing system! The Irish Red beer was my go-to, and it was very pleasing to see that on tap when it's not actually Oktoberfest season, (I can never seem to find it most times of the year).
