I was excited to try my filet when I saw it was wrapped in bacon. Everything was cooked to perfection. The salad bar has all my favorite ingredients. Ronnie and I both ordered filets, Kenny had prime rib, and mom chose lobster tails. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We will definitely be going back.”

“While visiting Lynchburg for a band competition my husband and I were looking for a good lunch - not the normal CFA, Cracker Barrel, etc. The reviews are what brought us and it did not disappoint!!! My husband got an arepa. I got 2 empanadas - a bean/beef/cheese/ plantain one and a chicken one. The first was as big as my hand! The second a little smaller. Both were absolutely delicious - hot, fresh, crunchy, flavorful. We also got the plantain rings as an appetizer. Of the 4 you get, we could only eat 2. They’re filling and have so much delicious cheese. I really wish this place was closer to where I live because it’s some of the best Venezuelan food I’ve ever eaten. HIGHLY recommend!!!”

“My daughter and I had our first experience there this evening. The food was amazing. We both ordered the fried oysters, which we learned are freshly shucked there. Undoubtedly the best tasting oysters I can remember eating anywhere. And their Cole Slaw and sauce are so good too! Got the crabby potatoes, which were red potatoes cooked to perfection and I got mine topped with their crab dip which was also so delicious. Small environment. Excellent food. Good people!! Extremely reasonably priced. Highly recommend them!”

The staff was incredibly friendly, and they were absolutely game with using our custom ice cream cups (mini baseball helmets, like at the games!). We got Vanilla, Chocolate, and Cookies and Cream, which, again, were all HUGE hits with our guests. We've been to the in-person store a few times as well, and it was just as good there as it was at our wedding. This is one of Lynchburg's best ice cream shops, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for either a sweet treat, or a catered event!”

All the treats were a huge hit with our employees. They made everything for us and had it ready to pick up Tuesday morning. One box was left out and they graciously delivered it to us. They were easy to work with and very professional and friendly.”

I bring out of town guests to this hidden gem of a spot regularly because their food is delicious and always served an prepared with love. Proper dishes are out and cleared in etiquette for each course & beers are presented in chilled glasses. The experience is truly luxurious. My only wish is that Lynchburg could patronize this establishment enough to convince them to move to a downtown venue or to give them the income to spruce up their store front. I hope Milan is in the area for many years to come. Thank you for the great food and service at a friendly price.”

“I have loved Hangry Joe’s Lynchburg from the first time I tried them when they first opened. I have been a regular customer since then, just love the mighty Sando. This past Thursday, 4/4/24, I gained a new level of respect and appreciation for this restaurant. On that day, I had a small issue with my order that I felt the manager should know about (substituted fries, instead of waffle fries I received crinkle fries). Not a big deal, but I felt he should know. So, I messaged him and to my surprise, he insisted that I receive a replacement meal on him!! That was greatly appreciated and totally unnecessary! He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of!! I love supporting local businesses and this one is at the top of my list for chicken greatness❤️ My support and recommendation will continue ❤️ Thank you so much!!”
