“This is a newer concept Wawa new build. Beautiful store inside and outside! Even restrooms were spotless! Very surprised! Good job Lynchburg, VA! Can't say that about Tallahassee! Nightmare restrooms and store was a mess. Sadly because of the pride we know Wawa carries about their stores! But Lynchburg was so clean and the new store had such class and modern style and where as the others around the US east coast side are traditional. Unfortunately we had to drive from Roanoke to Lynchburg to actually go to one! Totally worth it! Would we do it again probably what's a couple of hours on the road for coffees and Wawa hoagies and pretzels! Plus the scenery is a bonus!”

“Amazing experience at this McDonalds! The manager here, Clayton, gave us 25 free breakfast sandwiches for us to serve to a local police department to show them appreciation, and then he threw in a bunch of free apple pies on top of the sandwiches we asked for! He made the process of coordinating the order seamless. He was very generous and they had the food ready at 6:30 AM right on time for us. Thank you to the manager Clayton! I highly recommend giving your business to this McDonalds!”

“We stopped at Rincón Venezolano while traveling through Lynchburg, and it was genuinely one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. We’re a family that cooks nearly everything from scratch - we’re all gluten-free - and we’re particular about food, so that’s not something we say lightly.

There were four of us — two adults and two young girls — and we don’t eat large portions, so one order of arepas with chicken and cheese plus one platter (beans, rice, plantains, shredded beef, avocado, and a cilantro cream sauce on the side) was plenty for all of us, (supplemented with an avocado we happened to be traveling with.)

Every bite was delicious, clearly made with care. It was comforting to know that the food we ate did not conflict with our dietary requirements. My little one, who has a hard time eating when we’re traveling, polished off her plate entirely.

The one thing we wish we had more of is vegetables on the plate — we’re big vegetable eaters at home, so the small side of lettuce and tomato was a bit different from what we’re used to. That’s a small note next to how good everything else was.

We didn’t get pictures because we were too busy eating, which says it all.

Highly recommend if you’re in the Lynchburg area — this food truck is wonderful.

I've tried many options from the menu over the few times I've been here and they never disappoint. All the dishes are really fresh, I highly recommend trying their sizzling steaks (careful - plates are super hot!) and fajitas. The dish selection is large enough to make sure you'll not get bored, but not artificially inflated by offering 20 different burritos, as some other places do.

The place is cozy with a chill vibe. The staff is very friendly and responsive, I've never waited more than a minute for someone to approach. If any dish is unavailable, they offer some amazing recommendations for substitutes.

I've even came here with my French friend and it was the first time he didn't say that France does it better, which basically is an equivalent of a Michelin star.

My go to Mexican place in Lynchburg, especially for dining-in. Highly recommended.”

The bakery smells amazing when I went in to pick up her cake and the cashier was so sweet!”

I usually double check that everything is sugar-free but sometimes something slips through and I don't realize it before I've had half of my drink. Today was ones of those days. Now I'm paying for it. Not really their fault. Mine can be a complicated order and I may not have made it clear.

All that aside, Joe Beans is my favorite place. They have a good assortment of sugar-free flavors and the employees are so nice! If you've never been, go. They're everywhere - except Amherst County. (Please come here! )”

This area has a lot of Mexican food, and I’ve loved trying them all. After countless visits to Uno Mas, I can confidently say this is the best all around mexican food/drink/atmosphere in Lynchburg.

You will NOT find a fresher tasting margarita or cocktail anywhere else. Their seasonal cocktails are to die for (the watermelon margarita is hands down the best drink I’ve had in Lynchburg). Everything just tastes SO fresh, you can tell they really care about the ingredients.

Same goes for the food, you must try their street corn, it’s to die for!!! The owner and servers are so friendly and accommodating. If you’re looking for Mexican, look no further. Uno Mas is truly THE BEST 🫶”

“I am new to Lynchburg and did not know this was here. I have passed the building which looks sort of like a circus tent, but while searching breakfast location near me, (after the normal breakfast time), this cafe showed up.
I was surprised to see that the cafe was inside this unusual building.
Big toy and book store that I would like to wander through when I have some time, and to the back is this little seating area, blocked off and a counter with coffee and tea. The menu was not typical breakfast but our sandwich selections were outstanding. The flavor combination of the Turkey, cheese, sprouts, apple, avocado plus natural mustard with the seeds, (could be missing something) such a great sandwich. Good coffee and fruit with a giant oatmeal cookie to go.
I recommend and will come again.”
