“I was served by a woman named Michele today. She is one of the managers. And I just wanted to comment on her kindness and excellent attitude. She brought the food to my table and treated me like she was my own daughter. Some people have the gift of nurturing good thoughts. We all have it, but most of it do not care to express as much as Michelle. Although it is rare, such kindness should always be rewarded with a review and a thank you. God bless you, Michelle, and bless all of those good thoughts that you think every moment, because the world is a better place and all of us are hungry for the higher Spirit.”

“We had another delicious meal with fine service and a leisurely time to talk and enjoy the atmosphere. From the glass of wine served with tasty bread and olive oil before our appetizer arrived through to the coffee after dinner, we could not have been happier.”

I have been a fan of East Indian cuisine since 2012, or so, and this restaurant has it all: great atmosphere, wonderful food, nice variety in the menu (including vegetarian dishes), and excellent service (especially the waitress named Kay). “On 08/03/2022, my wife and I brought our cousins here to celebrate their 50th anniversary. The food and service was excellent. Our waiter was Sean. HOWEVER, during the reservation process, I was asked at least twice if there was a celebration and if so what type. I indicated on both occasions that it was a anniversary. I just assumed that when I was asked about the occasion that this occasion would somehow be acknowledged. It wasn't. (Happy anniversary). I heard the waiter at the table next to ours wish the celebrants a happy anniversary. Also, based on other reviews on this site, I noticed that a dessert was given to the celebrants as a memento. Not to our party. As I said, the service and food were excellent but missing the little "happy anniversary" left me and my wife feeling a little empty.”

“The pizza was great. Like it a lot. Only negative was that my pizza wasn’t fully cooked. Some of the slices were warm but underneath the melted cheese it was literally doughy. Other than that very good!”

“This was our 3rd time visiting while visiting Richmond for work. We are picky about BBQ. We used to own a BBQ restaurant in another state. Tonight was our last visit as we leave town. Pork has always been moist with no fat. We took a moment to talk to William and thank him for his hard work on the pork. All staff has been wonderful. Cheesy potatoes are great as well as blueberry cobbler and cherry cheesecake (make it hard for a Diabetic). 😁🐷. Was honored to be able to support Tunnel for Towers as well. Thank you for supporting the military and first responders. We will definitely visit other locations on our travels.”

“We had dinner at Chef's Kitchen tonight, Feb. 21st. Our waiter Ben was amazing, as was the food. We started with the Burrata and Dumplings, both of which were mouth watering and glorious. My greatest fear is that those dumplings will haunt my dreams forever. I could probably eat them daily. I am telling you it was a religious experience. If not a religious experience then possibly a spiritual experience. I believe if Anthony Bourdain ate here he would have something pithy and wonderful to say. Something cultured and refined. For an entree we both had the braised duck gnocchi which was pillowy, creamy, and delicious. We paired the meal with a Cab Franc from barboursville which was decently priced and absolutely sublime. Give this place an opportunity. Eat here. My wife and I both agree that it is the best meal we have shared together in many years. Oh and ask for Ben and tip him well. He's the man.”
