“I 'won' a 3 day 2 night stay, with knowing we had to do the time share gig. We got there after 7PM Friday & check in area was very busy. Got to our place at Eagle Pass(Eagle something, it was late). Roads are very dark at night, no lights. Slept great the first night but the second night we kept hearing a weird noise, sounds. I was surprised when my husband told me that check out was 10AM Sunday. Things in the room needed updated, but over all nice. We drove around until noon for the 'pressure cooker'. After 2 hours of the sales pitch, we said no. My husband went outside after the guy turned from being our buddy to not wanting to shake my husband's hand. After I went over to the help desk, we met with another guy. He was less pushy, and we soon were on our way. I am proud of my husband for being as calm as he was after the sales guy got pushy & rude. I got my $129 deposit back, $150 on a visa card, & 2 nights free. We only had time to swim indoors & spend some time in the outdoor hot tub. The indoor one was full of kids. Not something 2 adults in their 50's find relaxing. But seemed family friendly. It was worth our time, but we won't be back. Once & done for us. If you have the extra money, do it. If you don't, they shouldn't try & make you feel like a jerk for not saying, "Yes!", right away on a lifetime commitment.“

“A tall and young waiter whose name is Jonas , he is friendly and treated customers with patient and big smile as always. We ordered wings, strawberry salad, Vietnamese sandwiches and chicken tenders fries . The wings is highly recommended which is tasty and juicy!“

“Nice setup and clean. The constant bbq aroma helps the atmosphere. The soup was great and a good sized portion. The chicken tenders were low quality but tasted good. Also the fries were great. The prices are high for what you get but the staff were very friendly.“

“We were never a fan of the sauces, but the new midnight sauce is fantastic. Please add it to the menu. Also, highly, highly recommend the warm, homemade apple pie with the creamery ice cream and caramel sauce. Delicious! Server was friendly and knew the menu well.“

“Hands down the best BBQ. Met the owner while painting bridges and brought many coworkers to try his bbq. I’ve got coworkers from Greece, Syria, South America. Europe, and pure country boys… we all agree … the best. If I know I’m within 2 hours… I make the trip. I’m waiting right now for the site to say open I am currently in Staunton checking back daily 😛“

“I had called at 5:30pm for a party of 12 at 6pm. When we did arrive, and we ended up waiting for probably about 40 plus minutes. Two other large parties had gotten ahead of us. Miss Marie was super nice and seated us as quickly as she possibly could. In order to reward us for our patients, she provided for appetizers free of charge which arrived as soon as we got seated. She definitely went above and beyond! Our wait server, Johnny, was truly outstanding. He took care of our very large party with Incredible service and attention. He was friendly and made my birthday very special. On top of the four free appetizers, I was sort of delicious strawberry shortcake and given a coupon for a free appetizer on my next visit. I don't know of any other restaurant that would have gone this far above and beyond.“
