Skip the long line at the pretzel place next to it and treat yourself to one of their unique flavors. Also, if you've been to that other prominent cookie store, I find that CC's cookies don't all start to taste the same as you try the different kinds.“

“Lazy Mike’s is a classic neighborhood diner serving vegan, vegetarian, and meat dishes. You can substitute vegan meats for lots of the meat dishes including hot dogs, impossible burger patties, and veggie sausage. They even have vegan sorbet at the ice cream counter. Enjoyed everything — the dulce de leche in the chajá was so rich, and I surprisingly enjoyed the nutella in the red velvet cake — but the key lime pie was a standout. Usually I find that places make key lime pie too sweet for my taste and this one does NOT have that problem 😂 Would definitely order from here again!“

“Came to DC with my 9 year old for a concert. When we stepped out, we smelled something most delicious and followed the scent all the way here. It was incredible. Then the attendant said they can scoop ice cream on top of their cookies. And THEN it became insane. Best cookies ever!“

“I came across this chocolate shop while shopping in Georgetown, and I decided to check it out. I ordered a large hot chocolate- and I'm sure glad I did. The hot chocolate was the single best hot chocolate I may have had in my life. The drink was rich with flavor unlike other hot chocolates I have had through the years at chain coffee shops or the powdered stuff you make at home. The price for a large was a bit over 10 dollars - so be prepared for a bit of sticker shock. At first, I thought the cost was ridiculous, but the drink lived up to the cost. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Georgetown so I can stop in again.“

“I came in like 5 minutes before closing time at The cookies were fresh and really good, even though I came in around 12:55 AM on a Wednesday, just a few minutes before closing. I ordered 4 classic cookies and one ice cream cookie. Kiara, I hope I’m spelling her name correctly, was very kind and gave me an extra cookie because one of mine had split in half. It didn’t affect the taste or quality at all, but I really appreciated the gesture, especially so close to closing time.

Definitely the best Insomnia Cookies branch I’ve tried, and I would 100% recommend it.“
