“I ordered some dairy free cookies because I lost my brother unexpectedly this week. He was only 34 and was just craving a chocolate chip cookie. Unfortunately, the store did not have the items I ordered, the employee called and explained. Then they didn’t have the right number of cookies available. They were super apologetic and offered to make some fresh ones. I am pleasantly surprised by the thoughtfulness both in adding the note and adding more cookies, they were so warm and delightful.

Millie is especially sweet, and I know I’m going to have a good day at work when she’s the one making my matcha :)“

“Chip City is one of my favorite spots in Clarendon. I’ve enjoyed many a cookie and ice cream here with a friend. Flavors are always good, and the staff are friendly. The interior is very clean, but not the most welcoming place to sit and eat. Thankfully, there is plenty of seating outside in the pretty courtyard area. Honestly, the cookies are pretty pricey, but it’s what you get for a luxury treat in the DMV.“

“Our family's favorite. Proud Crave Card powerusers! They are always coming up with new and delish flavors of ices, pops, custard, drinks, and every kind of dessert you can imagine. Plus they offer coffee and breakfast! . The Fall Gelatis are our go-to desserts. I just wish they would post the flavors of the day online, but that would be hard because there are so many!“

“T-swirl Crepe is a top-notch spot! The ingredients are fresh, generous and delicious and the crepes are absolutely amazing, perfectly made each time and very filling! They offer a great variety of sweet and savory crepes. The also offer a great selection of tea and ice cream, and the drinks are also very good! Great pairing! And what makes this place standout is the staff, they are always friendly, welcoming and very accommodating of special requests. You can see that they are well trained and expert in what they are doing. Definitely my favorite place and my daughters - Highly recommend! You can substitute vegan meats for lots of the meat dishes including hot dogs, impossible burger patties, and veggie sausage. They even have vegan sorbet at the ice cream counter. “Ordered the chajá, red velvet cake and the key lime pie. Enjoyed everything — the dulce de leche in the chajá was so rich, and I surprisingly enjoyed the nutella in the red velvet cake — but the key lime pie was a standout. Usually I find that places make key lime pie too sweet for my taste and this one does NOT have that problem 😂 Would definitely order from here again!“

“I came across this chocolate shop while shopping in Georgetown, and I decided to check it out. I ordered a large hot chocolate- and I'm sure glad I did. The hot chocolate was the single best hot chocolate I may have had in my life. The drink was rich with flavor unlike other hot chocolates I have had through the years at chain coffee shops or the powdered stuff you make at home. The price for a large was a bit over 10 dollars - so be prepared for a bit of sticker shock. At first, I thought the cost was ridiculous, but the drink lived up to the cost. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Georgetown so I can stop in again.“

“I came in like 5 minutes before closing time at The cookies were fresh and really good, even though I came in around 12:55 AM on a Wednesday, just a few minutes before closing. I ordered 4 classic cookies and one ice cream cookie. Kiara, I hope I’m spelling her name correctly, was very kind and gave me an extra cookie because one of mine had split in half. It didn’t affect the taste or quality at all, but I really appreciated the gesture, especially so close to closing time.

Definitely the best Insomnia Cookies branch I’ve tried, and I would 100% recommend it.“
