Took the family to Tachibana for Mother's Day and we were not disappointed. The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. They handled the holiday crowd well and service was still prompt and pleasant. A great spot for a special occasion or just a solid Japanese meal.
Tachibana has been a wonderful and authentic Japanese restaurant for decades in McLean. Im always happy eating there and return regularly. Its quiet and a great place for conversation.
One of the best Japanese restaurants in the DC area. I've been there a half a dozen times and I live in Colorado. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is casual but nice. In most of the waitresses are polite. But I go for the food!
