Hands down the best sushi in the DMV! The cuts of fish are generous and fresh. Every single cut of seafood to the way they cook the sushi rice is absolutely perfect! The sushi rolls are perfectly balanced in ingredients to rice. Highly recommend the fatty tuna, red shrimp (they even fry the heads of the shrimp and give it to you!), and hamachi.

You just can’t beat the price and quality! This has become my go to sushi restaurant for special occasions...

Took the family to Tachibana for Mother's Day and we were not disappointed. The sushi was fresh and delicious, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. They handled the holiday crowd well and service was still prompt and pleasant. A great spot for a special occasion or just a solid Japanese meal.

Tachibana has been a wonderful and authentic Japanese restaurant for decades in McLean. Im always happy eating there and return regularly. Its quiet and a great place for conversation.
