“We came to Revel with friends who are regulars. Revel is their new go to place and I can see why. Revel is relaxed with friendly staff and great small plates, my favorite. Every dish we had was expertly prepared. Pork empanadas, grilled broccolini, scallops, a spinach salad. To pick a favorite is tough because every plate was really good. We will definitely be back!“

“Great vibe. Fun lights and seating. Its a bit expensive to get a buzz of sorts going but i like that its a good alternative to alcohol. Made me feel kinda silly and cozy. Tasty mocktails. I probably needed 3/4 of a bottle to feel it which is ~ $30“

“Visiting VA & was trying to find a nice chill bar to have drinks. We ended up here—atmosphere is very dim/jungle themed, played alternative/disco music at a moderate volume, drinks were also great as well as the service! We had the Espresso Martini and Mental Gymnastics. I highly recommend if you are trying to find a hidden gem bar. Parking can be hard to find but we found street parking and walked over to the bar.“

“We came on a Saturday night for dinner. It was a bit unclear if you were to seat yourself or not, and the service was a bit slow due to how busy the bar was since a live band was starting soon. However, our experience overall was excellent.The biscuit is probably the best biscuit I've had at a restaurant, ever. Absolutely recommend. We tried three flavors of wings and all thought the gochujang was the most outstanding. The pinto beans, pickles, slaw, and chicken quesadilla were all flavorful and solid. We loved everything we tried.“

“I ordered the hamburger with fries. It was a dollar or two less than the restaurant next door. I am so glad I did because the burger was fantastic! Very fresh and a great tasting. The service was great too. Yes, it cost a little more at other locations but hey, we are at an airport! I don't expect to see prices like we would see in the community.“

All I want for my birthday is some of the delicious pub grub from The Cask Cafe, and a growler or two of selections from the world’s (and Richmond’s) greatest brews. Unfortunately, this will be via touch-free curbside pickup. I’d much rather sit at the bar and chat about the role of diacetyl in English pub bitters, or the varieties of Bohemian or Moravian hops available in commercial Czech lagers...but not this year. I get it, it's the liquor license. We found a wall shared by both properties. Beer on one side of the wall, vodka on the other. And, yes. We were told we couldn't sit together. Awkward. Ok if your companions agree to one type of alcahol. Know this before you arrive. Awkward.“

“We had a small wedding reception at OCB and while I would recommend it as a venue, I’d also recommend writing down exact details of what you want the event to go like. I don’t know if we ended up with inexperienced staff or just an odd night, but nothing really went like it should have. We were told two bartenders but there was only one, they didn’t seem to know when to bring out the food even though we said it was an open buffet, we asked them to serve slices of a cake from the back and instead they just placed it on a tray in the front and our guests had to slice and serve themselves. Every time we met with Bill he reassured us they’d done so many events and wedding there that they had it down pat, but it definitely didn’t seem like they did. On the whole, I’m still glad we had our reception there. The venue is awesome and the food is amazing! I’ve always heard great things about people using them as catering at other venues.“

“Been a regular of Bryant’s for about a year. Every experience I have had has been chill and I felt very comfortable with the bartenders and vibe very quickly. They specialize in brut dry cider with a great selection of different flavors. They have options for people who prefer a sweeter cider. There is ways to spruce it up. Yummy cider daiquiris in the summer. I loved Bryant’s so much since my move to Richmond I just recently was hired on as a bartender. This place made me wanna stay. Definitely recommend to anyone who loves cider and a good atmosphere with a cool aesthetic 🖤“

“My husband asked the bartender/head mixologist, Steve Yang, for a gin based dealer's choice and he made the most wonderful drink I've had in a long time. He called it "Some kind of wonderful" it had dill, yogurt, and some other stuff and tasted like some hard to find European candy. Awesome!“

“We hosted a rehearsal dinner at OCB in November 2016. The OCB staff was very helpful as I was planning from long distance. They have a flexible, and diverse menu and they were very patient with me as we tried to find a good combination of offerings for our group. Try the mac n cheese....Divine! Food was all delicious. “The food was hi quality , I was impressed first with how fresh the corn tortilla chips were without a bunch off grease, the guacamole had a pleasant spice to it and the salsa was fresh. The star of my meal were the pork tacos , the marinade was amazing! The side of plantains had some sea salt and were cooked to perfection , I like the ends a little burnt !
What made the atmosphere was our incredible waitress ALONDRA. She was very pleasant , answered all our questions , and she had a deep knowledge of the menu which helped us decide what to order.
