“My partner wanted to stop on 151 for a lark so we randomly picked this winery. I don’t like to drink and I’m gluten free and I found a non alcoholic drink and a snack I liked - overpriced but grateful for the options. The wine he ordered was good. There are a bunch of big windows with sunlight streaming in which was lovely, but a bird flew into one while we were sitting next to it, so I hope they’ll consider adding a little decoration so the birds can see not to fly into the glass.“
“One of our favorite vineyards. It is always an enjoyable visit and Jorge and Tracy are always a pleasure to visit with and chat about wine. Moby the cat is an extra bonus!! Be sure to stop by!“
“Fabulous place to spend an hour or a whole afternoon. The tasting room is cozy and the grounds are breath taking. And the wine...whether white or red,you will find a favorite. One of our favorites is the Screaming Hawk Meritage. highly recommend!!“
“Great wine and outdoor seating! They’re very dog friendly, but I wished they enforced the on leash rule a bit more. We had our dogs on leash and two dogs off leash ran off to greet us. One of our dogs doesn’t react well when off leash pups run up to them. And we had to physically pull the new pup off ours, and the dog owners weren’t even near by. I think they were the owners dogs or the owner knew them well. They were very sweet, but I wish the rules were either enforced for everyone or there was an off leash area.
But again, the wine was good, the staff was very friendly, and the environment was nice to sit outside. Recommend!“
“We had an amazing experience when we visited Flying Fox. Tralyn was so informative and pleasant. We spent about 2 hours with her and left with 6 bottles of wine. We can't wait to return. We Left there and moved on to Veritas Vineyard for lunch. (Sister winery)!!😋☺️😁“
“We came by for an afternoon tasting and it was perfect! The atmosphere, especially in the pavilion, was wonderful and the views of the mountains and vineyard were gorgeous. The wine was great and we left with a few bottles. We brought our pups and the staff were very sweet and gave them treats. And we brought a picnic - I recommend bringing your own food. Their selection is nice but it’s a little small, so if you really want a spread of nosh food, bring your own. Definitely recommend this winery!“
“This is a must visit winery in the Charlottesville area. It is one of the most beautiful vineyards I have been to. They have a great selection of wine and the staff was very friendly!“

“Blackberry Festival was so fun and if you missed it, you best plan to attend next year! Multiple vendors with many awesome products for sale… the BBQ was AMAZING, “Live Music” was amazing, and even more importantly, some of the best wine choices Virginia has to offer!“
