“Great staff, great beer, and always quiet in the evenings. Sitting on a farm and not having the noise of the crowd, traffic, or whatever else is the attribute I like most about their spot. Also, they are very pro-veteran/military. I’m a long-time customer. Jim saves bees and has honey on site. You can bring your own food, but they have light snacks. Check their FB page for the food truck options. You can also get a Christmas tree and they are a Harvest Host site.“

I think it is important that we keep a variety some of these Country Music artists are absolutely amazing. To name a few Melissa Quinn Fox, Sela Campbell, and many more. I think eliminating does not do this venue justice. Plenty room for all Music. I love variety. please reconsider.“

“This was my first time at Nathan’s Dairy Bar. I got the hot apples with pumpkin pie and graham cracker twist soft serve ice cream. AMAZING. quickly became one of my favorite soft serve spots in all the places I’ve lived (which is a lot). The ice cream wasn’t overly sweet but had a nice obvious flavor without that cloying fakeness ice creams often have. Partnered with their spiced, warm apples they serve on the side to avoid melting it was possibly the perfect fall treat. The apples were nicely cooked and slighhhtly crunchy while still being obviously stewed in the caramel and spices. They had a bold flavor that was again perfectly sweet instead of dripping in sugar. SO good.“

“We ate at the Goodfellas after taking an evening trip to a local state park. The location is right off the highway 66 making it easy to locate. The employee at the counter was friendly. The menu was easy to follow. There were many options to pick from. We ordered a medium supreme pizza. The pizza was ready within ten minutes for us. We thought the medium crust pizza was delicious. Ingredients tasted fresh. The cheese in the pizza was the best part. We also appreciate the overall cleanliness of the restroom and the restaurant's sitting area both inside and outside. We had a chance to meet the owner of the restaurant who seemed very friendly and accomodating. We will certainly visit Goodfellas in the future. We felt good supporting this local business and highly recommend others to visit Goodfellas.“

“Absolutly amazing food and service. I had the chicken piccata with shrimp. It was to die for. The shrimp was perfectly soft, i swear it must have been breast fed or something. We had a server named mason. He was hilarious and super charismatic. He made the whole experience a lot better. He made me a mocktail from scratch. It was a strawberry blueberry drink with lemon juice and rosemarry and mint. It had a beautiful frozen lemon rose ice cub. I also had the mascarprone for desert it was perfectly balanced of sweet and chocolatly. The place was absolutly stunning and such pretty set up. Even my youngest cousin (4 year old) had lots of fun here and got to have great food too. Literally everything i had was super delious.

“I stopped by for the first time recently and was impressed. The space is cozy and welcoming. Vinnie was friendly and so helpful. He gave me great recommendations for both a drink and some coffee beans. Everything he suggested was spot-on. The beans are fantastic, and even was told the owner hand-roasts them. “We are so grateful to have Vint Hill Craft Winery in our "backyard." My family loves the historic atmosphere along with the wonderful crew and fabulous wine, created by Mark! Since we are members, we go often to enjoy our $5 glass and play card games outside with our girls. It's a great opportunity to be with family but also enjoy some wonderful local wines. To top it off, they throw in some great events ranging from firepit Friday's (seasonal), wine makers events, and special events such as their recent Veterans Day Dinner. This event was amazing to attend! We started with some bubbly and then went into a four course dinner, catered by Pampas Fox, which was paired with some of their greatest wines. This event was perfectly done and such a wonderful way to honor those that serve or have served. “Kolaches outside of Texas?!?! Of course one would find them at a donut shop named, Texas Donuts. Finally, NoVA can be considered, ‘civilized’. If you don’t know, Kolaches were introduced in the Republic of Texas by the Czech immigrants, and were adopted by the people there to generally have meat, rather than a fruit filling. As a Texan, I will say their kolaches were on point, and I found their raised donuts to be very fluffy and delicious. Totally worth the 25 mile drive this morning. Thanks so much for making me feel at home whilst in this Commonwealth.“

The gentleman leading us through told us all about the chemistry, how a batch begins all the way to the bottling process. To add an extra star, the drinks are phenomenal ($5 old fashion fridays happen to be my favorite) and the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable on each selection & they serve pretzels! 5/5 stars, very great experience I cannot wait to return!“

“Don’t get the razzle-dazzle large do to them putting in a small cup. Some time you may get the right size cup do to that you have two different prices one for small and one for large. Very up setting when you know what size cup you are supposed to get and know the difference. Especially when you go there all the time and you’re a regular customer and you spend over $30 or more in your ice cream products. Bad business to cheat your customers. There is know Excuse for this. I have been waiting days now to talk with the manager but they seem not will to talk about any problems you may have. That’s even so sad. I will not be going there no more .“
