“First off, the food was delicious. I ordered the chicken wings with shrimp fried rice and shrimp egg roll, and. The chicken wings were cooked perfectly, even the fried rice was flavorful and not greasy at all. The service was fast and friendly. The staff greeted me with a smile and had my order ready in under 10 minutes. Everything was packed neatly and still hot when I got home.
Portions are generous for the price—definitely great value. I also appreciated how clean and organized the restaurant was, even during the lunch rush. If you’re looking for quick, tasty Chinese food that doesn’t taste like it came from a microwave, Chen’s Garden is a solid choice. I’ll definitely be back!“

“This is the BEST Chinese food in Norfolk! I have tried ALL the other Chinese restaurants in the area and they all pale in comparison. Fried dumplings, house special Lo Mein, and house special fried rice are gold standard dishes cooked to perfection. The only bummer is they are CLOSED on Mondays.“

“didnt realize this was in the plaza so tried it out. ordering online was easy. i got a text when it was done. went in, told her my order, went out. fortune cookies arent included, i think it’s a very small charge. i think these were rib tips and pork lo mein. superrr tasty. containers are microwaveable if you want to save as leftovers too! i recommend!“

“Yummy Wok is (as far as I know) the only place in the area that does Northern Chinese doughy dumplings, and they are wonderful. Rich and savory filling, garlic-soy-ginger-chive-vinegar dumplings sauce perfectly balanced, dough springy and chewy and comfort-food thick (and not tough or gluey, just worked exactly right). This dish is my food equivalent of a weighted blanket: heavy enough to settle and ground the body and mind, but also so flavorful that it cheers up the spirit. Highly recommend!“

“I’m going to go ahead and leave my review in view of some negative ones. Me and my co-workers have been eating the lunch special for the last 3 years twice a week. We all really like it no complaints plus super cheap. Plus you get a free can of soda. About $22 for us 3. You really can’t complain at that bargain. Food is fresh and super hot when picked up. It’s gonna be 5/5 for me :)“

“The food was good but I ordered from the lunch menu and they have more rice than food. The beef and broccoli lunch special was 3/4 rice and 1/4 broccoli with some beef. It tasted delicious but very disappointing since the ratio of rice and entree were disproportionate. Not sure if I'll get their food again. I don't want to pay $8 for basically rice. That c is why I give it 3 stars“

“Solid Chinese joint. Did takeout and it was ready in 10 mins. Would eat here again. Everything was hot, delicious and plentiful. (I’m Picture, General Tso chicken/egg roll/pork fried rice combo and cheese/crab Rangoon and boneless spare ribs)“
