“Where do I begin?! The service was so attentive and engaging. The atmosphere felt cool and trendy. But of course the food is what I came for and they did not miss. I did the omakase experience and learned what sushi is actually supposed to be. I kept thinking each round was my favorite dish, then the next one would be even better. “This place was great for my day trip to Richmond. The food wasn’t the best I’ve had, but it was good, and the menu was inclusive of many dietary restrictions. Our server was kind and the atmosphere was fun and casual. Parking can be difficult.“

“Great little restaurant inside a brewery called The Veil...located in Scott's Addition area of Richmond VA. Order your food and drinks at the counter and pick it up when ready. The restaurant is owned by a former chef at Longoven which used to be a favorite restaurant of my family for special occasions. Nikoribi environment is contemporary with a cool fun vibe and the food is influenced by Asian cuisine. Attention is paid to the details and the presentation with various garnishes is a very special touch. Everything I have ordered has excellent taste and is visually appealing. My family stopped by on Mothers Day and I enjoyed a glass of Rose Brut which had just the right amount of sweetness and bubbly. Soft sell crab sandwiches were on the menu and served with fries. One of the best soft shell sandwiches ever. We had fried dumplings, pork skewers, a rice and pork bowl...all were delicious. Outdoor patio is available and you will find an awesome selection of canned and draft beers in a unique and fun atmosphere.“

“Contrary to some recent reviews this place delivered exactly what I wanted. $25 after tax for a steak, shrimp, and chicken expressly cooked hibachi. Steak cooked medium for the best flavor, it definitely won out over the chicken. Shrimp was not rubbery in my experience. Large enough portion to have both lunch and dinner. Definitely will be going back.“

“I live Yoshi Sushi! They have always given me great service and very tasty food. I worked with sushi restaurants for about 10 years and I can say that the quality is great for the price. I always get the Tropical roll, it’s like dessert. The sushi rice is delicious, cooked just right. Nothing worse than sushi with overcooked rice. The foods that come from the kitchen are also great. Shrimp and veggie tempura, hibachi, and yaki soba are among my favorites.“

“We tried the teriyaki chicken, beef, and shrimp. The chicken was the most flavorful; however, the other two were still delicious. We watched them cook all our food fresh and service was great. They also give you large portions. If you like teriyaki flavor and rice, you'll love this place. They also have sides and deserts, but unfortunately we didn't try any of those. We'll be back for sure.“
