“not only are the subs great but I had a truly special experience there today. ordered my sandwich and and asked if they had coffee. he said " sorry we dont but Dunkin' Donuts right across the street has good coffee". I said thanks I'm in a hurry to get to the Nursing Home to see my Mom. While I was waiting on my sandwich this young man ran across the street and came back with a cup of coffee for me. I was so moved by this sweet gesture. His name is Bubba and I hope he sees this and knows how wonderful he is!!!“

I stopped into Jersey Mike’s and ordered a Chipotle Cheesesteak with extra meat, extra cheese, and no peppers or onions. When I got home, I took a bite and immediately knew something wasn’t right. I opened the sandwich and realized I’d been given a chicken sandwich with peppers and onions instead.

I want to be absolutely clear about something: the sandwich itself was very well made. It had great proportions, was put together neatly, and wrapped properly. Whoever made it did an excellent job—it just wasn’t what I ordered.

For a few minutes I debated whether it was worth driving back because, honestly, it was a good sandwich. But Jersey Mike’s is a bit of a nostalgia meal for me, and when I order it, I want the sandwich I was craving.

I called the store, explained what had happened, and the employee who answered the phone immediately apologized and offered to remake it without any hesitation. I drove back, and my replacement was ready when I arrived. They exchanged the incorrect sandwich for the new one with no hassle at all.

When I got home and opened the replacement, it was another beautifully made sandwich—excellent distribution of meat and cheese, served hot, and this time made exactly the way I ordered it. It was honestly one of the best Jersey Mike’s sandwiches I’ve ever had.

Mistakes happen in every restaurant. What stands out is how a team responds when they happen, and these employees handled it professionally, politely, and quickly. They turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a great one, and I think every one of them deserves recognition for that.

P.S. As a funny little side effect of all this, I’ll actually be trying one of your chicken sandwiches next time I come in—probably with bacon and ranch. I had never tried your chicken before because I always come for the cheesesteaks, but even though it wasn’t what I ordered, it was genuinely good. So thanks for accidentally introducing me to something new.“

This place is one of those places where you get so full from your order but you keep eating. Once you're at the last bite, you start to feel grace but also sadness. The sandwiches are filled with toppings, the fries are perfectly salted, and the drink brings it all together.

“Cute little spot in Ashland. Eclectic, with antiques and tchotchkes all over the place. We had the chicken salad and the ham sandwich. All very good, and potato salad, enjoyable. There's outside seating and parking in the back. It's all kind of close though, so it might not be accessible to all. The restrooms definitely are not.“

“My friend and I went for lunch today at Lulabelles, the food was delicious. We had a $20 gift certificate to put towards a $36 bill and gave our server a $20 tip which seemed to be quite generous. Barely offend you that she whisked what was left on our table away, then returned a couple of minutes later to rather abruptly tell us that they had reservations coming in on the next half hour, the implication being that we had best get out of there. “I came in for a submarine sandwich today and the young American lady who took my order was very polite and even had very good recommendations for the toppings/veggies to go on my sub. The bread was very fresh, fresh cut meats and the sub was not messy and was made picture perfect, it was amazingly delicious. The place was very clean. I will be back for lunch in the near future. “Penn Station is my family's favorite sub shop, and we have visited frequently for many years. Unfortunately, we noticed it was going downhill for a while. The food nor the service was up to par and what we were accustomed to receiving. However, I am happy to say they have redeemed themselves, and our last few visits were excellent.
