“We had dinner at Chef's Kitchen tonight, Feb. 21st. Our waiter Ben was amazing, as was the food. We started with the Burrata and Dumplings, both of which were mouth watering and glorious. My greatest fear is that those dumplings will haunt my dreams forever. I could probably eat them daily. I am telling you it was a religious experience. If not a religious experience then possibly a spiritual experience. I believe if Anthony Bourdain ate here he would have something pithy and wonderful to say. Something cultured and refined. For an entree we both had the braised duck gnocchi which was pillowy, creamy, and delicious. We paired the meal with a Cab Franc from barboursville which was decently priced and absolutely sublime. Give this place an opportunity. Eat here. My wife and I both agree that it is the best meal we have shared together in many years. Oh and ask for Ben and tip him well. He's the man.“

“Importante Bodega Bar accommodated my organization when we were in a pinch for space and I couldn’t have been more delighted with their hospitality and food. Their waitstaff was gracious, the manager was so personable, and their event coordinator was on point. But I can’t say enough good things about the food. Everyone took some to go because we couldn’t let that deliciousness go to waste. Even my picky 17 month old loved the left overs I brought home! Their margarita was also phenomenal. Seriously 10/10. Will be back!“

If you e never experienced Catfish and grits /fried tomatoes don’t walk…RUN to the Jonesboro location!! I’m literally about to walk in now and order just that! “What a wonderful space. Great wine, great service, wonderful food. Best steak and potato’s I’ve had in a long time. The charcuterie board, breads, dips and salad were great as well. Lamb ragu, mussels, all were great. But the stand out was the duck. I’m not a fan of duck, but theirs is divine. I would go back there only for the duck even. Great meal.“

“Professionally: I found this establishment on a chance. But once I entered it was a complete vibe. Owners are genuinely nice & treats everyone with dignity & respect. Place makes you feel like you're welcomed home. Servers at this point remember my drink order and you can't forget about mama. The amount of love they show, the amount of care they give, & the amount of believe they have has made me a better singer & person all around. So I truly truly thank them. “We had a birthday party at Memi’s and it was great. The manager was easy to work with and very responsive during planning. The food and drinks were delicious. We used the downstairs lounge, so our group could be in its own, and it suited our needs perfectly. Highly recommend.“

“We just returned from Boston where we had a good experience at an Italian restaurant in the North End. We thought we would make a comparison: well, this place was head and shoulders above that famous area. In fact, I would say this is by far the best Italian restaurant in Richmond; better than Edo Squid; better than Dinamo; better than the famous, now closed, Mama Zu’s. Great wine selection , perfectly cooked food, delicious desert and all at a reasonable price. I have eaten at many Italian restaurants on the east coast and in Italy. If you skip this place, you are missing out on one of the best anywhere.“

“Amuse is one of our favorite restaurants in Richmond, Virginia for many reasons: First and foremost is the excellent food prepared by Chef Will Burgess and his staff. My wife and I dined there 2 nights ago; we had an interesting, delicious asparagus appetizer, her salmon entree was perfect, and I had the most delicious vegan entree I have ever had; it was a harissa mushroom dish with an incredibly amazing light sauce. The service and ambiance are also always wonderful.“

The French fries are just like McDonalds. And don’t sleep on the wedge salad - best in Richmond. We love this place! It’s expensive but it’s also a very filling meal and the quality is there.“

Ella patiently answered approximately one million questions about options, ingredients, and recommendations. We had vegetarians, a vegan, and meat eaters in our group - we were all happy with the quality of the food and the accommodations they made to ensure everyone was able to enjoy their food safely.
