“We had dinner at Chef's Kitchen tonight, Feb. 21st. Our waiter Ben was amazing, as was the food. We started with the Burrata and Dumplings, both of which were mouth watering and glorious. My greatest fear is that those dumplings will haunt my dreams forever. I could probably eat them daily. I am telling you it was a religious experience. If not a religious experience then possibly a spiritual experience. I believe if Anthony Bourdain ate here he would have something pithy and wonderful to say. Something cultured and refined. For an entree we both had the braised duck gnocchi which was pillowy, creamy, and delicious. We paired the meal with a Cab Franc from barboursville which was decently priced and absolutely sublime. Give this place an opportunity. Eat here. My wife and I both agree that it is the best meal we have shared together in many years. Oh and ask for Ben and tip him well. He's the man.“

“Importante Bodega Bar accommodated my organization when we were in a pinch for space and I couldn’t have been more delighted with their hospitality and food. Their waitstaff was gracious, the manager was so personable, and their event coordinator was on point. But I can’t say enough good things about the food. Everyone took some to go because we couldn’t let that deliciousness go to waste. Even my picky 17 month old loved the left overs I brought home! Their margarita was also phenomenal. Seriously 10/10. Will be back!“

Every time I’ve come here (5x) the service is excellent and the Food is Mouthwatering to say the least. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Ms.Sunshine as well as Demarquise and when I the southern hospitality is above bar I truly mean it. If you e never experienced Catfish and grits /fried tomatoes don’t walk…RUN to the Jonesboro location!! I’m literally about to walk in now and order just that! It’s worth the money but even more worth the Organic experience you’ll receive the moment you walk in!“

“One of the best restaurants in Richmond, a hidden gem! I hesitate to write this review since others will find out but the experience was so amazing that I can't help it. We had a girls dinner with 6 of us there and the food and experience was amazing. The wine selection, of course, was on point and Megan was so much fun. One of the best dinners of my life, appreciated the experience so much!

As a mom of a toddler so often we’re “allowed” in spaces, but not welcomed and the team at Jardin always not only makes us feel welcomed but cherished and is so patient and kind with the littles as they learn how to do things like order and say thank you and be out in the world. My daughter also has a myriad of food allergies, and they handle that with such care and knowledge and kindness and offer suggestions and always find something she can have! “Stanley’s might be inspired by the Philly Cheesesteak, but they have grown that Cheesesteak up and today when the power went out without warning, this very cool crew went into action (while giving Dominion Power a very needed piece of their mind) and did not miss a beat. “Where do I even begin? This place is incredible! Hands down, it has some of the best burgers and oysters in Richmond. Every bite was amazing, and the quality really stands out.

What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was the bartender, Oshane. His professionalism, attention to detail, and skill behind the bar are top-tier. He not only crafts excellent drinks but also creates such a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

“We had our 20 year alumni event for about 24 people with dinner, drinks, and dessert. Melissa was super responsive to questions and alterations for the event and the food and service were awesome when we attended. The 2 servers did an excellent job.“

“I supprised my wife and took her for a early dinner on Sunday, September 6th, 2027. We had a 2:15 pm reservation, but arrived about 1:50 and were greated very warmly by one of the host. We we seated promptly in about the center of the room. And although the table wobbled a bit, we were ok. Our server, David appoligized because he had not greated us immediately but the place was very busy. We ordered three appitizers, buffalo shrimp, Tia Chili shrimp with the sauce on the side and corn bread cakes. Well. We should have and could have stopped right there because we received the largest, perfectly prepared shrimp that were served hot! They were magnificent!!!. The conrbread was to die for. We we had to do more so I ordered the fried smothered porkchops with mack and cheese, steweed tomatoes and french fries (why did I do that). My wife ordered the chicken liver and onions, collards and candied yams and we spean the rest of the meal eating off each others plates it was so good!. But we both had to tap out because we were stuffed. But did I stop their? No way, I ordered the half roasted chicken with two sides to go as well because I knew my wife would be hungry later that evening and would raid my plate and I wanted to enjoy the food one more time later that evening. I said all this because I pray that everyone has such a wonderful experience that I did. Also the staff really look out for one another and I really appreciated the diversity in the workers in the restaurant as well. Thanks Southern Kitchen we will be back.“
